So we made our big move last weekend, and this weekend was our first weekend in the new place! Last night, DH picked up his buddy he hadn't seen in a while, he came over, saw the place, and we all went out for burgers. Cool, but it turned into SUCH a late night bc we still had to try and get our heat on for the winter.
Eta **TW** baby/kid/cancer survivor/TW** <div class="Spoiler">This morning we almost didn't want to go to his aunt's bc we were so tired and still have so much to do here, including continuing to troubleshoot this ancient heating system! (Which DH is working on as I type.) But we went, and it was actually pretty much okay. Got to see our little 5 yo neice and DH's sister for the first time since she finished her cancer treatments, and DH's cousin's wife just happened unwxpecyedly to be there briefly, so I got to see the baby, but not long enough for any awkward, "you guys are gonna be NEXT!" ;) ;) type comments from the peanut gallery of uncles' wives... #winning</div>
@lulu1180 I was not emotionally ready for the entirety of the episode. A lot more than I was expecting ended up happening. The crew did a fantastic job on how they shot the show and everything (as usual) and Negan is such an amazing bad guy. Fair warning talking dead is a tear jerker too.
On a side note I want to say thank you to the amazing ladies here. I was lurking on another site last night and those ladies are bsc. I love that everyone here is real about things and doesn't blow smoke to make people feel better when they know what they are saying isn't true. So happy I found you ladies first and this is where I set up shop .
