I am experiencing the worst period I've had since before I started continuous birth control when I was like 21. So I envision that and getting drunk will consume my weekend.

DH is working a 24. Looks like O may be tomorrow, so we have plans to HIO before going to Eastern State Penitentiary tomorrow. He got tickets for 11 pm and it's in Philly, which is an hour and 15 min away. That means we will get very little sleep and then he will want to wake up super early to catch the Giants in London at 9 am before going to tailgate at the Jets game since his/our nephew is playing on the field at halftime. I know I am going to be exhausted and next week is going to be super busy! I'm tired just typing it, but it should be fun... as long as we DTD both days!!!

@NYTino24 Have you ever been to the penitentiary? I live in Philly, and I went a few years ago. I got pulled into a room and it was pitch black and people kept yelling at me and pulling at my feet, I came out crying and yelled at my H for it! He set me up!

I'm going to be facetiming my dad later and maybe my mom. Talking to her is like pulling teeth. Conversations like
Her "I looked at an apartment" 10 seconds later Me "Oh how was it?" "I didn't like it" etc.
Like she suggests conversation but wants you to initiate all of it. I love my mom but she has her quirks.
Then I'm going grocery shopping and exploring the Korean version of Walmart some more. Usually I just go in for produce which is right at the entrance but I need a dog water bottle, the kind that's like a gerbil bottle on a stand. My dog hasn't been drinking a lot of water recently. She used to have one but the clip that holds it on the stand broke so she's had a bowl for a while but I'm not refilling it nearly enough.

Then tonight I'm making a margarita and DH and I are playing video games then some BD. We've taken turns being sick and he's just getting over it so it may have to wait till tomorrow.

@lulu1180 So generally, V.C. Andrews novels are TERRIBLE. They are like reading Lifetime movies doused with caffeine and LSD. But My Sweet Audrina was one of my favorite novels ever when I was fourteen. I am sure that the new sequel will be terrible since it's coming out, what, twenty years later? But I am there.

@adirat My mom loved VC Andrews books!
@JuneRoseRuby we went about 3 years ago. The best part was also the part where I started to get motion sick... it was so dark and spinny that I had to call out to DH to back up so I could grab him and keep walking!

@Sglen3 I've heard people say they think it's Darryl but I feel like the writers know fans would riot if any of the originals were killed off at this point. It's really so hard to tell! Do you have any guesses?

@lulu1180 don't judge I kinda went crazy with this one. So since the last episode I thought it was either Daryl or Michonne. But...they released a sneak peak and Rick has blood on his face. So I went back and watched the end of the finale to see where everyone was sitting and now I totally have myself convinced it's Abraham.

@JuneRoseRuby I've never been skydiving, but have fun! My sister has gone twice and loves it, but she thinks that she likes paragliding better because the experience lasts longer. I went paragliding with her in southern California early last year and it was an incredible time!

@NYTino24 have fun at Eastern State Penitentiary! I grew up in the Philadelphia area but was always too chicken to go.

Well we tried to go to a pumpkin patch today but they make you take a train to the patch and you have to pay for the train, which I thought was really unnecessary (us taking a train and paying for it lol...I can see it being awesome for families, tho!). So we're going to check out this one I used to drive past, where they also have a "goat castle", because I love me some goats and even DH said "petting a goat oughta brighten your day" lol He knows me so well!

In other news--- I had to pick up more feminine balance tea and I order it without oat straw to avoid gluten contamination (celiac), so I have to message the lady each time. So every time I buy it, it feels like sort of a failure. I said today that hopefully it's the last time I have to buy it and she agreed that it's bittersweet to hear from me and wished me luck, so that was kind of sweet, since not many people irl know we're trying

Lastly....unfortunately, extraction attempt #1 from DH was unsuccessful

But that near positive opk has me determined and I WILL be trying again later lol

Oooo and we're having a massive lasagna that I threw together YUMMMM!

@FLAshley I tested super early too this cycle, definitely before 7dpo. All because I got caught up in researching baby things and since I wasn't tracking O this cycle of course that means I could be like 12 dpo (at what was probably CD20) *insert eye roll*

DH and I went out for dinner and we talked about buying a second car when we get back to the states next summer and when I'll have to transition out of my Ford Focus based on when we have kids and how far apart they are. Then the talk about how if I'm a SAHM before his next promotion, it'll be hard to balance 2 car payments and our student loan payments on his income. Once he's promoted it would be fine b/c it's a 20k+ increase and my income is part time but that's not until Spring 2018. My income is just for the car payment and my things. I'm seriously on the fence about using FAM until the time comes when possible EDD are after his promotion that or I'll have to be okay with not being a SAHM in the beginning, which idk if we're okay with. We don't and never will live near family b/c there are no Army posts in New England so we'd have to trust strangers which I'm not okay with. We'll be new to wherever we go next summer and won't know anyone who could be a babysitter. I'm kind of depressed about it now but also optimistic that I could use this time to get a bit healthier. Our 2 months of NTNP/TTA is looking to turn into a year

@slavenski Oh honey, I am so sorry to hear this. Seeing that time stretch out must be so hard. I don't know what the right answer is, but I know you'll figure out a way to do what's right for you both. If you haven't already, consider doing a rough budget exercise (whether in excel or on a sheet of paper) to see where your expenses really stack up and if there are things you could cut to get to a place where you'd feel more comfortable. You may be able to prioritize other things and get back to TTC (or at least not TTA).

I'm bumping from 37568 ft, somewhere above Colorado. Yay for JetBlue free wifi! I'll be in Vegas until Thursday night. I said earlier this week going to Vegas is both a rant and rave. I'm excited but I wish was home.

@adirat I was obsessed with VC Andrews when I was younger. I should go back and re read so I can read the new ones.

@slavenski I'm sorry you are going through that. It's unnerving to juggle so many unknown factors. We are TTA for similar reasons to what you described (DH is not military but works for a military-related field that makes staying in one place for very long not guaranteed). I changed career paths in part to make more time for family and the joke ended up being on me because it looks like I will initially have to go back to my old line of work now once we move, unless we can manage the expense/logistics of living apart for quite some time. Combine that with knowing that we will be away from any friends/family, and I can really relate to your hesitations about not being a SAHM big time. People who know about our TTC efforts (pretty much our immediate families) have stressed how in the big picture losing a certain amount of time is not a big deal, but to be honest they aren't aware of our entire story and their opinions don't help ease the sting of not being able to keep trying.

I think @adirat had a helpful suggestion with the budget exercise. It also helps/calms me to make pro/con lists for every conceivable outcome/scenario, but then I'm a list-making, excel spreadsheet loving type of person- so it may not be your thing. I also think your idea of using the time to focus on your health is a great way to use the time to your advantage. I really hope you guys are able to work something out so that you aren't TTA for quite so long.

@laurad75 have fun in Vegas! I hope you're able to make the most of it, even if part of you would rather be home.

@adirat @magnolia131 I think his idea of how the budget will go on his income currently is pretty accurate. We really don't have a lot of bills actually: internet paid by landlord, minimal utilities (just gas and electric), Netflix and my brother pays for Hulu. The major thing is once I finish my MBA in March my student loans will need to be paid and once we move to the States next summer we'll be getting a second car (and payment). I am 23 and I know people will say that there's plenty of time and I agree. It's just sad because I've been looking at all these baby things and my Pinterest/Facebook/Youtube feed is all baby stuff (and hobby farming). But, like most young women say "I've always been mature for my age" and I'd rather just put my trust in the pull out method for a year and actually be happy with an ill-timed but welcomed LO but also possibly not have a baby for a while.
