@LadyMillil - Being in Canada I had the same thing. Now I'm in the states and they apologized for a 3 week wait... I was like ummmm what!? haha. But that being said the US billing/insurance is making me pull my hair out.

@APM_SLP - totally feel you. Though I guess you have the ERA and those results to look forward to in the meantime

OMG y'all. My husband and I were out with some friends last night who were so obnoxious. It was the normal do y'all want kids, yes we are working on it with an RE talk. But the lady would not let up on how apparently all it takes is white Russian shots to get pregnant, even if you are having fertility problems. So there's my tip for the day, apparently fertility treatments are a waste of money and we all need to just drink shots.

ETA: I even explained that I am medically in menopause through the rest of the year, so I really can't get pregnant, but that apparently doesn't matter. Just need those white russian shots. Ugh, some people.

@MMD1986 hahahaa wowwwwwww. The disillusionment. I mean granted I once upon a time was convinced when I missed a pill I was for sure going to end up preggo. Now I'm the wiser. Hopefully one day that women can look back and see the pain she caused, and just how ignorant she was. Hugs.

ps. I've pretty much tried everything else there is... maybe I ought'a give those shots a go... never know hahahahaha

@MMD1986 - well, I guess we will all actually have shots...but not the kind that your friend is thinking of!

@oxinfree - you were right...*TW* meeting the baby was much easier than i thought it would be! almost did not want to leave the baby there when we went home, but our friends said that I can come over whenever I want to play!

@MMD1986 OMG! I think I might have slapped my friend silly for saying such foolish things. The lack of sensitivity in some people is crazy!! I guess though that now the new tip is out there I will go ahead and give that a try, I mean who is really gonna get hurt by taking it to the kitchen hehe.

@caseyw8784 I am so glad to hear that it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be meeting the new little baby. I am still too scared to think about meeting any new LO's right now. Dh told me about some close friends of ours inviting us to a bad shower last night and I instantly started crying. I just couldn't help it. I am lucky he was there to immediately know how to make me feel better.

Good news! My RE was totally on board with all of my suggestions. For this next cycle we will:
1) Increase stim dosage from 150cc to 225cc
2) Incorporate acupuncture before and after transfer
3) if we wind up with more than 5 day 5 embryos, do a one-embryo fresh transfer (just for something different). We'd still biopsy and test, but we'd just know the results after the fact.
4) If we wind up with 2-4 PGS normal embryos, do a double FET.

For some reason they're making me do another nurse class to teach me how to administer the meds... despite the fact that I just had it a few months ago. And they don't have an opening until Nov 1. So, more waiting.

But at least we have a plan now!

@oxinfree I saw my RE yesterday for a follow up and we can start the next round on my next cycle which should be around Oct 24. The results from the hysteroscopy were back and no signs of inflammation! We are going the opposite direction and doing a milder stim to get better quality this time around. She did see a nice egg ready to ovulate, so she said no hurt in trying.

I'd better get on making White Russian shots and doing it in the kitchen!

Why Am I Benched: I just found out Monday after I had my labs and ultrasound that I could not do a cycle this time because we are going out of the country on October 28th & I would find out if I was pregnant then and couldn't be monitored. My RE said it's too risky. I was devastated but ok now. I started bc pills so they can control my cycle so I can start meds and injections as soon as I get back.

@LeFemmeViolette - amazing news! I love the idea of trying a fresh transfer. Always nice to do something a little different... why not right!?

@mjacks16 - awesome. How exciting to get going again. Great that there was no sign of inflammation, that's excellent. fx

@NolaBeachBride - Better safe than sorry, but the wait is always really hard. Hopefully all worth it in the end.

AFM - massive headache onset today from Lupron Depot I suspect. I also am having breakthrough bleeding (a mere 2.5 weeks after the shot and my last cycle....lame). Overall hubs and I are feeling super hopeful about our upcoming cycle though, trying to flood it with positivity. I'm being really good on my diet, focusing on getting lots of good nutritious meals. Feel like it's eons still until I get to start meds though so I'll just cheer you ladies on as a distraction

I have been in a funk and not on for a while. My surgery went ok, RE said we may have to do this at least 2 more times. October is always bad for me, I'm always in a funk in October.

Hey ladies, I have a FET date, but have a question for you guys that are close to my situation.
Anyone have a shooting pain from around ovaries, lasts about a second but stabbing? I'm on the pill right now, on its not ovulation (plus I haven't ever ovulated on my own due to PCOS ). I had mild OHSS after retrieval September 26. But I have felt good since about 2 weeks after. (Took forever ) then today I was saying Ow out loud!
Maybe ovaries shrinking? Anyone have that or think it's normal?

AFM I have nothing new right now. We are so close to selling our Motorcycle which should help give enough mooolah to finally be able to get the meds to start the cycle. AF showed up yesterday for the 3rd time since my last transfer and it really bummed me out this time around. I just feel like the wait is killing me right now and I am not getting any closer to achieving my goal of getting to bring home baby. I am trying to re-gain focus on the bigger picture but it did make me have a little cry. Praying that I get to get started soon! I love lurking and following you ladies and watching dreams come true

Can't wait to see mine come true too!

@JESSABER0414 - I have endo and I get weird sharp pains etc. so what you are describing isn't out of the ordinary for me. Given you've never experienced it before it's definitely worth mentioning to your doc. If you have PCOS could it have been just a deferred pain related to retrieval... like scar tissue that was stretched etc? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but always best to run it by your doc. If it keeps happening or gets worse, definitely look into it! If it was just a one off, try not to stress too much.

@Joslynj11 - the wait is killing me too my dear. Hard to watch others move forward. I'm sure you have mixed emotions about the motorcycle... the compromises we have to make hey!?? I hope both our dreams come true soon

@katymarie101 - hope you're feeling at least a little bit better... that really sucks that you're going to need additional surgeries. Not fun at all. Take care of yourself and try to remember, it'll all be alright in the end. If it isn't alright... it isn't the end.

afm - still waiting haha. no news. Lupron Depot sucks. Hot flashes galore!

@oxinfree I'm doing better thanks for asking.
Most of my funk is because my dad's birthday is in October and the next day is the anniversary of his death and the day aftER that was my surgery I think this year it was almost to much all at once. I had to take a break from the bump for a few weeks. But I'm better now and I'm getting my mind around having to have more surgeries. I'm sorry so many of you are on the bench.

Why I'm benched: After our second loss in September my OB suggested we wait two cycles to help get my cycles regular. I also just found out I have MFTHR mutation and prothrombin factor 2. I also have hypothyroidism. I'm going to see an RE next month and make a plan of action.

I have my 4th of 6th Lupron Depot shot today...so at least I've passed the half way point of waiting.
