Rant - My bump is so tiny! I didn't think I would be bothered by it but I kinda am. I don't look like I'm 7+ months pregnant.
Rave - Dinner cruise tonight! Also my baby cuzzie just turned 21 yesterday. Holy crud, how did she get to be 21? I planned to take her out drinking but alas I am pregnant and cannot drink. Since she just moved closer to me, after Squish comes we're going out drinking somewhere.
Questions - I might put this in the stupid question thread, but is it okay to use baby powder under my boobs when I'm nursing? I've stated I have huge boobs and boob sweat is real and annoying, so I put baby powder under them to reduce moisture. Can I still do that if I'm nursing?

Symptoms/cravings/aversions?

Same, although last night I had 3 BH within 10 minutes of each other. Freaked me out some. Stay in there baby! Cravings, I want a big breakfast. you know, with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, breakfast potatoes. Also chocolate anything. Oh, I have shower cake in my fridge!!!! Yay!

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book?

Corduroy! I had that book memorized when I was 3. It's one of the books I got at my shower on Sunday. And yesterday my mom and I were at Kohls and they had a stuffed animal Corduroy. Guess what mom bought Squish to go along with the book? I'm jealous of this kid, I wish I had my own Corduroy when I was a kid.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? leg and foot cramps, swollen feet and cankles, achy joints, tired

Upcoming appointments? TODAY! We have an ultrasound and checkup

Rants/raves/questions? I'm just excited to see baby again

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? My feet have been swelling. I'm pretty sure I got two braxton hicks contractions yesterday. Heartburn hasn't been as constant as previous weeks. I crave burgers like no other.

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book? I loved brown bear, brown bear! I was happy when someone got us that book for the shower.

What size is baby? one says cabbage, one says zucchini... my 2nd growth scan today said 3 lb 8 oz!

Upcoming appointments? I have to do my 3-hr GTT tomorrow

Rants/raves/questions? This baby is head down and loving it. Her body moves all over but her head stays put.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Cider, yogurt, peanuts with candy corn

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book? Oh I'm so glad we are using this one! I still love the Giving Tree and The Mitten. I can't wait to snuggle up with Tess and read them to her.

Rants/raves/questions? I'm so effing tired. And none of my shoes fit. I have about 30 seconds every morning to say hi to my ankles. Luckily DH is going to buy me some new shoes and slippers....but my feet were already big before

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Still craving sweets. Have had lots of BH lately...especially at night. I can't tell if BH is triggered by me getting off the couch to go pee or if BH is triggering my need to pee....

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book? I think I had a lot of Berenstain Bears. I also was really into Babysitter's Club in later childhood.

How many weeks? 34 (a day late!)...time seems like it's flying and standing still simultaneously.

What size is baby? butternut squash

Upcoming appointments? Monday! DH is coming to this one and we're hoping he'll be able to find baby's heartbeat.

Rants/raves/questions? DH came home this week from hunting camp and seemed to think that me being 34 weeks preggo is the same as me being not preggo. We went for a "walk" to give the dog some excersize and practice being a bird dog and 5 miles later (one of those situations where we'all turn around right after this bend. No, this one...), I'm having BH contractions. Today I was even spotting a bit (happens everytime I overdo it). Baby has been moving bunches, so I know he's fine, but seriously. 34 weeks pregnant is something! DH needs to get out of the woods at times and see my day-to-day and maybe he would be a bit more sympathetic?

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? I'm getting sick of my tummy prenatal...otherwise, no. I just wish I could breathe without heartburn.

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book? I loved the "Velveteen Rabbit". Such a wonderful story.

@aevan011 - my dr said a full bladder will trigger BH. So probably needing to pee is triggering them. But I do notice sometimes the stronger ones give me more of an urge to go.

@MaggieG183 definitely asking my doc on Monday and the nurse at our birthing class. She was a lactation consultant before switching over to high risk and she taught my breastfeeding class last month.

What size is baby? Basketball (so says I)

Upcoming appointments? Just had one Friday - heartbeat is good, fundal height is good. I haven't gained weight in almost 8 weeks but midwife said everything looked good so it's no biggie. Baby may be breach but I don't think so. I think we'll probably have an ultrasound to check next time

Rants/raves/questions? I am not sure about the baby powder but if there is a concern with the ingredients, corn starch? We use corn starch instead of baby powder for DS anyways...

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? reflux is real. Loss of apatite. And then all the hurtyness that goes with the expanding hips, loose joints, and housing a human in your guts.

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book? From my childhood - Pokey Little Puppy or Grover Sleeps Over. From our collection for our son - Little Blue Truck or the Going to Bed Book.

I'm a little late to the game since I don't work outside the home on Fridays

How many weeks? On Friday I turned 32

What size is baby? He/She is on the bigger side due to my GD but right now is holding steady around 4ish pounds.

Upcoming appointments? I had one on Monday and I haven't gained 1 pound for over a month, which OB says isn't an issue, but had a steroid shot to strengthen baby's lungs since I've had pre-e and gestational hypertension in my previous 2 pregnancies.

Rants/raves/questions? Holy Braxton Hicks last night! I didn't have them with my previous 2 pregnancies so I was completely unprepared for how umm uncomfortable they can be at 1AM!

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? I crave all things sweet and will be one of the first things I eat upon having this baby is the diabetes part goes away!!!

GTKY: Going off of Thursday's question, what was your favorite childhood book? The Little Train that Could. I always asked my mom to read it to me before bed. I'm sure she got so sick of that book but I just loved it!

thanks @slartybartfast but I misspoke- it wasn't my actual birthday- I just turned 32 weeks on Friday. but alas I wish I could still be 32 but instead I fall directly into the AMA category-- le sigh.... But thank you for the wishes anyway!!!

I saw that and was so excited! I filled it out but I'm telling you- I think I have to be the most boring person on the face of the planet!
