  • @Dinosaur this is just an observation from being on these boards for a while but I feel like a million days of flashy happens to a lot of people. I think it gives people false hope that O is right around the corner and a lot of times it's not.  I would ditch that OPK and switch to something else.

@lund I can't take credit for the term I think it was from the Great Sperm Race but I loved it so I told it!
  • @motherhubbard19 I use a CVS basil therm.  We use pre-seed like any lube but you can also insert before sex.  You can buy it at most drugstores and Amazon.

@Dinosaur Are you using the CB advanced digital OPK or the montior?  I used the CB advanced OPK's one cycle and got blinking smileys for 2 weeks.  The blinking is detecting estrogen rise and then you get a solid with the LH rise (which is what you are looking for).  My RE advised I stick to the regular OPK's that only track LH so I wouldn't get confused.

  • @RunRestRepeat  Thank you! GL to both of us for this cycle :) CD 1 and 2 are never fun!

I took this link from an earlier board regarding wondfo OPKs and ordered them yesterday! https://amzn.to/2et29By

    Me: 28 | DH: 33
    EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks <3

  • @Dinosaur Yep - the flashing smiley was the bane of my existence that cycle - I O'd on CD 31 or something.  I just use the regular CB Digital now and supplement with wonfo's so I don't use expensive OPK's 3 times a day.

  • @hartmich My mom went into labor with me and my twin right before her baby shower. We were almost a month early.
@SaphireSweetie I also scraped my old car on the garage. It's concrete block, so it took some pain off my front bumper as I was backing out. In my defense, the garage is so small that I can't fully open my car doors on either side without holding them so that they don't hit the wall. I go to a back up camera after that! PS we HAVE to move before having a kid in a car seat!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@leilac It does not look like you O'd based on your chart. Keep in mind a peak reading only means you will likely O within 24-36 hours. My guess is that O is imminent. I would definitely keep charting. You don't have to be perfect at it. Basically, you are looking for the big picture/ trends in your temps so not every temp matters so to speak. Good luck!

ETA: I usually get two days of peak or positive and then I O one to two days after that.
  • @motherhubbard19 I just bought my preseed at Target last night. It was a whole $3 cheaper than amazon

WAYDTGKU: hopefully starting all things soon

R/R: DS is sick with a GI bug which is why I'm so late to the party. It was a long night/day.  On the up side we have an appointment with a new RE it's still 2  months away but I am super excited we are moving forward.

CS/Q: not much to stalk yet

GTKY: What story does your family always tell about you? Oh so many! But DH loves to tease me about not telling him how BSC my mom is. I did tell him he just didn't believe me. My response always is, that there was a reason you didn't meet her until the wedding day!

the bump ate this post earlier today but low and behold it's back. I don't know that I'll get to respond to everyone since I'm so late to the game but I'm love titting the heck out of you.
