Ladies how have we not started this yet? Did we just have too much fun with last week's!? Lets hear it!
My UO... I could care less about telling everyone the potential name of my baby while pregnant (we are team green so always need 1 of each). I don't care if someone "takes it". I don't own it nor do I have rights to it. If a family members hears it and likes it so much that he/she uses it for a kiddo before I get to bestow the name upon my own, it won't stop me. I never really understood why some are so protective over their top secret, special, never before used in the history mankind name options. Huh...
That's a great UO @Elyse1384. I don't tell anyone my names because I don't want to hear rude comments and I have an easy out with people's helpful suggestions... "That's an interesting name, we're waiting til we meet the baby to decide..."
I can't care about politics anymore. I should care more because of who potentially might run our country, but I'm over it. No one wants to see the other person's side. "If you vote third party you're throwing votes away." The election has really tainted my opinion of some people I am close to.

OK so maybe a FFFC more than a UO response, but I secretly LOVE when my MIL hates the names we have picked. Almost makes me like it that much more haha. Ahhhh... I'm a jerk.
I hate when people at work will use the rest of the TP on the roll ... will UNWRAP the new roll ... then place it on the bar above the toilet paper roll holder and LEAVE the old empty roll on the holder. LIKE WTF... you went to all the trouble to unwrap the new roll ... it takes .25 sec to replace it with a new flucking roll....
I just want to find the person and be like do you do that at home ? This was more of a FFFC - it was just pissing me off I guess I had to get it off my chest.
UO: Where are the real presidential candidates...can we have a do-over? i'm not impressed.

I just want to add that I think if ANYONE said they hate my baby name it would make me love it that much more... haha. So far the few people we've told about the name we've chosen have all said how much they love it (and they should... it's completely beautiful).
My UO is that I should NOT be required to do anything anymore, most of all going to work. I am completely useless if I'm not on my lazy boy and at all times I look and feel like I've been run over by a bus. First tri is kicking my ass!

Mine is that I don't think it matters how you spell a name. I've seen some pretty heated discussion on unusual spellings of names and people getting all upset. Like Taylor vs Taiylor or Alicia vs Alesha Why would it matter to you who someone spells their kids name? My name is not spelled the traditional way and it doesn't bother me or effect anyone else.
I totally feel for all you ladies who had trouble conceiving or previous losses that result in needing extra monitoring this time around, but all the talk of levels and measurements and possible issues makes me so darn anxious. I'm a second time mom and I didn't know half this stuff existed until I read about it here. I wish there was a way to be supportive without internalizing all the nervousness.
@mamaelle27 I felt similarly about being involved on the IF board while we were undergoing treatments. I learned so much and got tons of support over there, but the other side of the coin was that all the problems I kept reading about made me so completely paranoid. And so I've been questioning every little thing!

I hate the words twatwaffle and tits. I think the first one is the dumbest word I have ever heard (I don't even open that thread because of it) and the second one is so juvenile to me, yet it comes out of adults' mouths all the time. It also reminds me of teets which makes me think of cats and cows which I prefer to not liken female humans to. Let me add that I am NOT a prude about curse words or anything like that, but there is something about both of those words that just rubs me the wrong way!
I literally come away from ever UO thread thinking of this quote: "I don't know the key to success but the key to failure is trying to please everyone". If you can think of it, it annoys someone! It's always so enlightening to me to learn what annoys people.

I went on a TP roll changing strike at my house because DH is the worst at it. There were literally 5 empty TP rolls on the counter and one on the holder before he realized...and then he asked me why I wasn't changing them since I'm the one that uses them most often. NOPE, if you empty the roll, YOU change the roll.
I don't hate the Kardashians. People lose their minds when it comes to that family. I don't watch the show, I don't buy magazines, I don't watch celebrity gossip shows, etc so I guess they really aren't in my face all the time.
I dont care why they are famous, be mad at the people that made them famous. They didn't become famous on their own.
@kassyfry I know I would probably get some eye rolls over how I spelled my sons name. I can't lie it bugs me sometimes but I do love his name and spelling.

Same here. Not only is it a unisex name, but it has a youneek spelling, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I despise so many new terms: BAE - don't use that in front of me. AF - just say "as fuck". FTW - ugh. Just speak normally! Im fine with LOL as long as you don't use it in reference to something you say yourself.

I too cannot bear to click on the TW Tuesday thread because I can't stand the word. Even just "twat" sounds so vulgar to me. Slightly less awful with a British accent but still.
My UO is that I think "push presents" are kind of dumb. I don't understand why anyone would expect a super expensive gift when they are about to birth a child that will be super expensive.

@Spookster My DH does this at home. He drives me crazy because it is more then him not putting it on the roll. He places it in random places. On the roll, on the back of the toilet tank, on the floor.... seriously what is the deal with that?
@kassyfry I must admit, as a teacher it drives me bonkers. What has started lately that bothers me even more is parents who spell their kids wrong by MISTAKE. Then at open house they say, I know the birth certificate spells his name "micheal" but I spelled it wrong. Can you just spell it Michael? We had 3 of these at our school this year.

My UO this week is about music. WTF happened to actual artists?! All genres have gone seriously downhill.
Rock? Bunch of whiney pussies. I wasn't a fan of glam rock in the 80's and the guys with makeup still just don't do it for me.
Country? If you sing a pop song with a twang and you talk about your truck or your girl, it sells.
Hip-hop/Rap: I don't care about what your hype man chants in the background and how many times you can say a word or phrase.
I want to go back to the days when music was made by people who could play instruments or mix their own beats and they told a story. Maybe I'm just getting old and all this is "in MYYYY day we had music that was good"!
@silliegirlie143 I totally get what you're saying. The thing is we only here about .01% of what is out there on the radio. There's a lot of spectacular stuff, its just hiding on the internet a bit. Which is cool!! I think...
