My favorite movies are Poltergeist and Children of the Corn. My favorite movies to watch with my kids are Hocus Pocus, Labyrinth, and Gremlins.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I guess this is a rant but almost a question, too. ****TW***** loss mentioned**********. I've been trying to figure out a sensitive way to share my pregnancy with my soon-to-be stepsister who suffered a loss in 2nd tri earlier this year. We see each other about once a month and I've known her since she was born but we're not super close. I'm telling the rest of the family at Thanksgiving (she won't be there but her Mom might). Struggling with how long to wait and what to say... Being an adult is hard*******end TW**********
GTKY: What's your favorite scary/Halloween movie to watch this time of year? I love to watch all the scary movies. With DD I became very sensitive to violence so I couldn't watch scary or intense before bed. Hoping that's not the case this time because Walking Dead is coming back!!!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Ugh so I shared my pregnancy news with my family and asked them not to share with anybody else yet. My mom has already blabbed to half the people she knows. When I got upset with her the response was "do you think nobody else has said anything?!" What the actual fuck. Sorry but you're my mother and what kind of shit excuse is that. My mother and I are a long story but she is so childish.
GTKY: What's your favorite scary/Halloween movie to watch this time of year? I hate scary movies, hocus pocus all the way.
@silliegirlie143 Maybe give her a call to tell her after you tell the fam? It's probably best to tell her over the phone or in person given the sensitivity of the situation. Also, maybe tell her mom privately that you will be calling to tell her so that she doesn't accidentally hear from her mom rather than you.

Rants/Raves/Questions? TW (parent loss mentioned).....I've told my mom, siblings, sis in law, & my moms bff. I wish I could tell my dad's in person that I'm finally pregnant but they are both in heaven watching over me & baby. It's hard though because I miss them. My step dad passed in Jan 2012 & my dad passed Feb 2016....End TW. I'm so happy & I want to enjoy this pregnancy as best I can but I'm ready to meet my baby. I am home today with sinus pressure. Hoping to go back to work tomorrow.

Waves of nausea and hot flashes have started and exhaustion has set in big time. Also had some heartburn today. Isn't it too early for heartburn?!

my midwife last week, routine bloodwork next week.
Any new symptoms or changes? Still nauseous...hoping that goes away soon.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My last pregnancy I only had like 3 days of nausea. So far I've been nauseous since week 5...not fun!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I shared on the TW but work was emotionally draining. I found a photo of one of our doctors with the word "ISIL" written on it. I immediately took it to management and burst into tears. I don't know how someone can be so hateful.

Give me all the scary/Halloween themed movies! Hocus Pocus is an obvious favorite but seriously I love all Halloween movies! It's my favorite time of year! I love being scared.
I was talking to my sister and she said someone burned down the refugee camp where her coworker lives because they don't want the Syrian refugees there, It happened at night while all the families were there... This horrible person was literally trying to kill families! I just can't take the hate... :'(
