Yeast infection, mucus in stool??

We went to the dr on Friday and they prescribed him Nystatin and just now he had mucus in his poo... I'm totally freaked!

    Did his doctor say this was a normal reaction?

    I didn't talk to his doctor after that but my sister is a nurse and she said it's pretty common in breastfed babys. And infection could lead to mucus in the stool. It only happened that one time, but she did say if it carried on for more then 2 days to take him in. He's doing 100 % better now! @yodiggity
