@hartmich I hope you O early. I'm there with you, my H had to travel 3-4 days a week for 2,5 months drove me crazy TTC-wise. Hope t works out for you this month though with an early O, one less thing to worry about :)

@mylove071407 Maybe you can mention her some of the struggles of TTC (without confrontation), so she can realize her complaining can be tough on you. It is hard to understand TTC struggle until you are in it, so be easy on your friend, I'm sure she just doesn't know how to be supportive.

@lulu1180 I'm there with you on the ever growing WAYDTGKU list  Better mattress will help with the sleeping though. How much longer til you get a new one?

  • @BertieMeetsGertie I did! I literally have SO much filling left over that I don't know what to do with. And basically, making raviolis is a ton of work. I need to perfect my method haha! I also made an apple cake that we have been devouring the last two days.
@jacksonbears I heard both and seriously my body would do the opposite regardless. I know what you mean by out of whack cycles. Here's hoping for two "normal"cycles for both of us.
  • @Anna_1021 If all goes right, we will be picking it up and taking it home within a couple hours!

@hartmich- hope your O comes early!
@lmmtravels - I would start temping now so you get used to it
@KhRun17 sorry you are here now
@hupp0013 so glad your timing will have the opportunity to be good this month!
@swimsister sorry your OPKs are confusing. It doesnt look on your chart that you have O'd, but maybe tomorrow will be a temp jump so maybe today is O day, or tomorrow?
@CallaLily25 glad your mom is doing well!

R/R: my poor DS who is 16 months just started sleeping his nights a week ago and now he's got a cold that's waking him up every 40-60 mins. It seems as soon as he starts sleeping his nights he gets sick and then we're back to square one for a couple nights. My rave is fall weather is finally here and I can start wearing leggings big sweaters and scarves!

CS/Q: how many times a day do you do OPKS? This is my first time using them.

GTKU: What is the longest car trip you have ever taken? Not very long but 4 hours to visit my aunt. Oh not true I went to Quebec city which is a 10 hour drive. Plus pit stops.

@MrsR130 yes! Fall leaves. I love this time of year!

Sorry I'm kinda ghosting. With DS being sick I don't have much time.
  • @oxCherryBlossomxo I only use one a day with wondfos, though I know some test multiple times a day during the fertile week to catch the surge.

  • @oxcherryblossomxo Same as @laeberge3, I use them once a day and I've always caught my surge. I try to hold as long as I can and do it in the afternoon.

  • @BertieMeetsGertie @kiwi2628 @spk112 @lulu1180 Thank you so much for the insight to go ahead and start temping! Apologies if I missed anyone.

    @BertieMeetsGertie

Thanks for the information. I tested today at work and got a smiley face (positive) on my Clear Blue digital OPK. I am currently waiting to see if I get another positive OPK tonight. I have to wait a little longer yet before I can pee on another one so I will look into them for next time (if I need them).

Okay ladies I have another question:

I took an OPK last night about 5:00 pm (using a cup method). Today at work I took at test (not using the cup method) around 5 pm & got a positive. I wanted to check again when I got home & I think I may have botched the test because it wasn't in the urine (non-cup method) for the full 5 seconds so I stopped midstream (yes I know that's bad) and of course that one was negative so I tried it one more time with another one which was negative too.

I am thinking I just got a false positive when I was at work and that I really am not O'ing right now or would you think I am O'ing now and just botched the 2nd test today?

    edited: reword the question.

  • @SaphireSweetie88 I would say, based on the fact that you got two negatives later on in the evening, that it was possibly a false positive at work. My advice would be to stick to one method that works best for you (dip versus POAS) to ensure the most accurate results. I've just started using OPKs this cycle so this is just IMHO...i am interested to hear from others who are a bit more experienced.
  • Thanks @kat0607 - The cup method is easier for me because then I don't worry about if it was in the urine stream completely lol. I know it's silly but that's me
