R/R: So, I think I put too much pressure on DH the beginning of the cycle to BD. Now ovulation is coming up and he is near dead for trying to BD everyday. For our first month, I think I told him too much and he feels like it's work instead of play. Too much pressure. We are entering the FW and I'm scared we may miss it.

R/R: Joined a committee at work that collects money to celebrate important life events. Seems like shady accounting (or none) has been happening for the last few years. The woman in charge was also part of two other important groups, one those two being a paid position. Our principal gave that one to someone else and made someone else in charge of money for the second. Now I'm wondering how involved I should get with the third. Disorganized people drive me nuts!
CS/Q: Nope, I've got this down due to the wonderful TTC Bumpies!
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why?
I want to become a mom. (Probably obvious) I wanted to own a house, become a teacher and get an advanced degree, and get married. I did all that and have traveled a decent amount. Fingers crossed!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
CS/Q: OKAY- so. Yesterday I got what I am 99% sure is a positive OPK. The test line is identical to the control line. This morning my temp dropped. FF said either yesterday-Wednesday would be my projected O day. What do you guys think?
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why? I want to go to Italy and travel around! Not gonna lie, ever since I saw the Lizzie McGuire movie I am dying to go..

CS/Q: anyone else have night sweats? I've had them for the past few years. I can't decide if it's a medical issue or because I sleep with a sheet and comforter (I literally can't sleep without the weight of it. If I fall asleep with just the sheet, I feel like I'm freezing). Although I've noticed if I take a nap on the couch during the day I wake up sweaty too (although again that's under a down throw).
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why. I want to go to Shanghi Disneyland. Until that park opened, I could say that I had been to every Disney Park in the world. I need to fix that now
@MommytoM13 I don't think you have ovulated yet. Keep doing the OPKs and check for a temp rise tomorrow morning.

GTKU: Aside from the obvious (I want to be a mama ), I'm with @MommytoM13 -- I want to go to Italy! My family is Italian and I have always wanted to go to the area that they are from. I'm also dying to see the Amalfi Coast.

@FLAshley it's hard to not be "all in" when you first start trying. It's exciting! I'm sure others have said that you don't need to BD every day. EOD is just as effective. It won't hurt to skip a day or two if you are just entering FW. GL! @NYTino yeah that sounds like a shady situation. I would be leery of getting too involved, too. @Brooklyngirl6 GL with your BD plans while your parents are in town! Happy early birthday to your DS!
R/R: the weather is SO nice! IM going to be sad when it goes back to normal temperatures.
CS/Q: My chart is super rocky right now. I've had 97.02 every other day for the last five days and the two days in between have been right around 96.75. It's just weird!
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why? This is tough. Being a mom (obviously) but aside from that I want to continue to travel. @BertieMeetsGertie I really needed to hear that. I have learned my lesson for next month. We were so anxious to get started we started on CD 6 and have barely missed a day. So, even though I'm starting to ovulate now, it would be okay to take tonight off with the possibility of a BFP ? I tried talking to my mother last night but of course she was a fertile myrtle and didn't have to try to get pregnant with my sister or I.
@purplg8r DH had terrible night sweats. I wake up some mornings soaked from him. He has been to the doctor. They had figured testosterone levels may be out of whack so they tested and nothing. He also took a sleep test and tried the c pap but couldn't sleep with it on. It's worth getting checked out.

@NYTino24 ugh, I totally agree with you about disorganized people. I'm such a control freak, my first inclination in those situations is to jump right in and start bossing everyone around haha...although probably not the most effective solution.
@MommytoM13 I agree with @NYTino24 I don't think you've ovulated yet, but I would keep doing the OPKs! ETA: oops! Glad to see you got a more accurate result this morning

It's my own fault, I declined the invite because it wasn't mandatory, but I didn't know it was going to be paid for and I didn't want to just assume. Oh well, not that big of a deal...but I never like missing out on free food...
CS/Q: None today! Hopefully this is my last day in WTO! One more day of high temp and FF should give me crosshairs.
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why? I have ALWAYS wanted to see the Northern Lights, so that's probably my number 1 (other than motherhood and starting our own family). I doubt I'll ever get out of the country to see them, but I know you can see them in Alaska and parts of the midwest; those seem a little more doable travel-wise.
@FLAshley I think I did the same with my DH, when it's around FW the pressure's on and it takes some of the fun out of it for him I think. Fingers crossed that you don't miss it, I'm sure you won't! @purplg8r I've always wondered if the Disneylands in different countries were different in content, I've been to FL and Paris, and much preferred FL because it was so much bigger. @BertieMeetsGertie I've got some friends who've been to Antarctica and say it's lovely, but I think I'll take their word for it - cold weather is not for me either!

@mrs35 I don't think you're supposed to use FMU for the wondfos. I drink a ton of water too and just test sometime in the afternoon. I try to hold it/not chug a ton of water after lunch those days, but I don't think it really matters.
@TinyTurtle Not sure on suggested amounts, but I drink only in the WTO phase to help with EWCM. It doesn't necessarily hurt to drink any other time, although we had a discussion a few weeks ago about some teas preventing the absorption of folic acid (was it you @adirat that found a study about it?). This is actually hard for me to pick just one... I'll say to get to Europe sometime soon. I keep saying we'll do it and then we don't.
@FLAshley You don’t need
ED timing, even during FW. I’ve seen
people get a bfp with only 1 day in FW.
I’m trying for EOD as the one cycle I did ED (except 1), I still didn’t get a
bfp
@NYTino24 Sorry for the
shady people! I also feel like I’ve got
most of this TTC stuff down thanks to all the wonderful ladies on here!
@MommytoM13 It’s a
possibility that you will O today, if you have used opks in past cycles, you
can see when O day is compared to when you get the positive. But like @NYTino24
said, the only way to know when it happens will be to confirm it in hindsight
with 3 elevated temps
@purplg8r Hope you get to
go to Shanghai! As for the night sweats,
I don’t really have anything to add. I
usually only sweat at night when I have my electric blanket on during the
winter.
@JulesDP I’m sure none of
us realized what we would end up doing to try to get KU
@BertieMeetsGertie A wonky
chart always kind of freaks me out just a little.
@TinyTurtle Green tea is
supposed to help increase EWCM. I drink
one cup in the morning and didn’t really see any change last cycle but I also O
early (CD10) so I’m not sure if there was enough time for it to take effect
@mrs35 I don’t use opks
but others on here have said that SMU is better than FMU for them as the LH
surge doesn’t usually hit until a little later in the day.
@wvrn1216 That is also on
DHs bucket list! He has some Scottish ancestors
and wants to visit there some day.
@mylove071407 There is

to have a good day, you’re right.”

R/R: Rave: We got the new mattress
yesterday! Rant: Yesterday evening was
a bit of a cluster. I had an oil change scheduled for my car right after work;
they also ended up replacing one of my headlights that was out and replacing
the windshield wiper motor on a recall.
I was waiting at the dealership for 1 ½ hours. Although the headlight change was cheaper
than the guy told me it would be (possibly because I asked him in an annoyed
tone when my car might be done while he was apparently finishing the paperwork
for the recall). Then we went to the
mattress store and that was pretty quick and painless. Then when we got the mattress home, I
realized as I brought the boxsprings up that we have no center support on the
bedframe and that obviously wouldn’t work with split boxsprings. So we ended up going to Home Depot and
getting boards for the support slats and everything worked out. And we got a hell of a workout dragging the
mattress up the stairs. Also, I didn’t
sleep quite as well as I had hoped/thought I would
CS/Q: The last 3 days, I’ve had a slightly
elevated temp which I attributed to either alcohol or not sleeping well but now
I’m wondering if the CoQ10 caused them.
It’s the only thing that changed and I have been taking it right before
bed. Has anyone else experienced
this? I decided to try taking it in the morning
today and see if it makes a difference in my temp
GTKY: I would love to go back to France some
day! I got to go during spring break in

We were acquired by a larger company in Jan, and were told we would not be broken up as a team (we are super small, only 5 of us). I was happy with that, despite my longer commute, I still had my boss who was helping me improve my skills. Well last week we were told that we were being split up, and I just met my new boss, and he was basically like "your on your own with growth"!!! So I am stuck here not growing like I need to to get a better job, and really worried! I did have a phone interview yesterday and it went great and they are looking for someone who is more junior, so Im hoping that maybe my new next step. Plus its a better commute! My second one is to go to all of the Disney parks in the world! @purplg8r I am so jealous that you have been able to do it! Ive only been to FL, but I love Disney and plan to go to them all some day!

@KhRun17 With the wondfos, it kind of depends. When I get to fw, I will do 1x/day just to get an idea where I am (stark white, getting darker, etc.), although they can still fluctuate. When I get within a few days of probable O (based on history), I start doing 2-3x/day because I found in the past my surge would happen rather quickly and literally be back to stark white negative within hours. I could still miss it, of course, but I've been able to catch it every time this way. You may or may not need to use them that often. I had to experiment a bit to find this out.
WAYDTGKU: prenatals... hopefully hio here soon, temping, maybe opks in the next couple of days, I have some fertility tea but I more so got it because I heard the main ingredient can help with pms symptoms (namely, moodiness lol)

I have ALWAYS wanted to see the Northern Lights, so that's probably my number 1 (other than motherhood and starting our own family). I doubt I'll ever get out of the country to see them, but I know you can see them in Alaska and parts of the midwest; those seem a little more doable travel-wise.
@purplg8r I've always wondered if the Disneylands in different countries were different in content, I've been to FL and Paris, and much preferred FL because it was so much bigger.

@FLAshley You don’t need ED timing, even during FW. I’ve seen people get a bfp with only 1 day in FW. I’m trying for EOD as the one cycle I did ED (except 1), I still didn’t get a bfp
@NYTino24 Sorry for the shady people! I also feel like I’ve got most of this TTC stuff down thanks to all the wonderful ladies on here!
@Brooklyngirl6 Fx you’re able to sneak away!
@MommytoM13 It’s a possibility that you will O today, if you have used opks in past cycles, you can see when O day is compared to when you get the positive. But like @NYTino24 said, the only way to know when it happens will be to confirm it in hindsight with 3 elevated temps
@purplg8r Hope you get to go to Shanghai! As for the night sweats, I don’t really have anything to add. I usually only sweat at night when I have my electric blanket on during the winter.
@JulesDP I’m sure none of us realized what we would end up doing to try to get KU
@BertieMeetsGertie A wonky chart always kind of freaks me out just a little.
@kat0607 Sorry you missed out on the free food!
@TinyTurtle Green tea is supposed to help increase EWCM. I drink one cup in the morning and didn’t really see any change last cycle but I also O early (CD10) so I’m not sure if there was enough time for it to take effect
@mrs35 I don’t use opks but others on here have said that SMU is better than FMU for them as the LH surge doesn’t usually hit until a little later in the day.
@wvrn1216 That is also on DHs bucket list! He has some Scottish ancestors and wants to visit there some day.
@mylove071407 There is definitely something to say about positive thinking. I used to tell a former coworker “If you think you’re going to have a bad day, you’re right; if you think you’re going to have a good day, you’re right.”

R/R: Rave: We got the new mattress yesterday! Rant: Yesterday evening was a bit of a cluster. I had an oil change scheduled for my car right after work; they also ended up replacing one of my headlights that was out and replacing the windshield wiper motor on a recall. I was waiting at the dealership for 1 ½ hours. Although the headlight change was cheaper than the guy told me it would be (possibly because I asked him in an annoyed tone when my car might be done while he was apparently finishing the paperwork for the recall). Then we went to the mattress store and that was pretty quick and painless. Then when we got the mattress home, I realized as I brought the boxsprings up that we have no center support on the bedframe and that obviously wouldn’t work with split boxsprings. So we ended up going to Home Depot and getting boards for the support slats and everything worked out. And we got a hell of a workout dragging the mattress up the stairs. Also, I didn’t sleep quite as well as I had hoped/thought I would
CS/Q: The last 3 days, I’ve had a slightly elevated temp which I attributed to either alcohol or not sleeping well but now I’m wondering if the CoQ10 caused them. It’s the only thing that changed and I have been taking it right before bed. Has anyone else experienced this? I decided to try taking it in the morning today and see if it makes a difference in my temp
GTKY: I would love to go back to France some day! I got to go during spring break in my junior year of high school and loved it! It made me realize what a young country the US is.

When I found out I was pregnant I planned on adding a 'and then there were 4' photo to our shoot. I should be almost 11 weeks pregnant and it just kinda hit me again.
CS/Q: We'll my son hates sleeping and I told myself I was going to start temping yesterday, but that didn't happen. But I did today and I feel like high 5ing myself! Haha
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why?
I have a lot of places I would love to travel. Iceland tops my list. We wanted to do our honeymoon there but it was the dead of winter so we went to Belize instead (which was awesome!) I would love to do an anniversary trip there once our kids are older and I feel good about leaving them behind!

@kat0607 - I live in the UP of Michigan and we can see some pretty awesome northern lights at times...the problem is, you don't know until a few days before or the day of when they're coming. September-early November is when they usually peak, but not that whole time. Just a few spotty days in there. It's tricky even when you live here.
@lulu1180 - wow, that evening sounds hectic!

WAYDTGKU: waiting out AF still. probably 2 more days. PNV, temping in the mean time.
R/R: So, I mentioned I may disappear a little over the next 2 weeks because of IL's coming to town/taking a short trip together (although, I may show up more often to help keep my sanity). Rant: They come tomorrow and I have so much I need to do before then! Organize, clean, sweep/mop... and I have a community garden that has to be emptied before I leave with them on Thursday. Rave: They called yesterday and FIL has to go on a work trip the day after they were supposed to get home, so long story short they can't stay in town the whole time they were planning to, so it'll be more like a 1 week trip instead of closer to 2!
CS/Q: So, I'm ordering Wondfo's, what's the trick with them? I've seen some people say they do it1x/day, others say 3x. How do you read them/decide how often to do them?
GTKU: What is the number one item on your bucket list, and why? Skipping the obvious...the reason we're all here... I want to buy a house. DH isn't sure how long he want's to be in his position (at least for a few years, but not super long term) so we don't really want to buy because then we'd have to turn around and sell when he finds a new job that will undoubtedly be across the country somewhere. So I'm stuck for a while. I just feel like with renting, you can't do everything your way and at the end of the day you're paying someone else for a roof over your head. It sucks.

R/R: my rant today because you guys will understand is the health insurance company I have. I have all the sudden been getting bills for all the bloodwork and f/u bloodwork my RE sent me for. The HI co is saying I need referrals from my primary even though the specialist is who is sending me. My primary is saying no I don't. I spent a half hour on the phone with my HI co his morning all for them to end up hanging up on me. Do they call back? No.
also, TB on my desktop is still being painfully slow. I got rid of the pop up vid ads thanks @lulu1180 but it is still freezing Chrome wth?!

@FLAshley Been there. A day off might really do the trick and keep in mind EOD is still good timing!
@alysapuggles I feel like I need to reevaluate mine too. We did a lot of traveling in the last two years but I feel like I always need a list!
@MommytoM13 I bet you see a temp spike tomorrow!
@julesdp The Amalfi is on my list too!
@BertieMeetsGertie Umm yea no thanks to Antarctica... I also heard Greenland is meh are you interested in going there? I know its not a continent but to me it might as well be Antarctica.
@kat0607 Thanks for starting and I love this GTKY question.
@TinyTurtle It is supposed to increase fertile CM but there is no real evidence and it may just be linked to better hydration. I drink it during WTO only.
@mrs35 I take them three times a day sometimes and have used FMU with wondfos but I also don't seem to have trouble turning a positive.
@ohemgee Bora Bora would be so nice! It is on the pricey side but it is definitely on my list too. My wedding photog went there for her honeymoon and it just looked soooo picturesque.
@hartmich OMG I know what you mean. I especially hate when people try and ride up the side of the road or squeeze in front like, we all have someplace we need to be what gives you the right to cut in front??
@hupp0013 That is my favorite meal of all time. Like, really.
@lulu1180 Yess for a new mattress. I really need one but it is definitely an investment. Hope you day today is much smoother than yesterday!

R/R: My rant has to do with my job. I am a career changer ( I was a teacher, now I work in web development) and I have been with the same people for almost a year and a half. Sorry about the long rant! Just needed to vent!

I really want to be a mom, but after that I want to travel to Okinawa Japan with my mom and dad! I was born there, and we left when I was 3 months old, so I dont remember it. They were there for over 2 years (my dad was in the air force), so they have great stories of it, and I want to see the place I was born.
My second one is to go to all of the Disney parks in the world! @purplg8r I am so jealous that you have been able to do it! Ive only been to FL, but I love Disney and plan to go to them all some day!

@JulesDP Girl, I feel you. I just want to O so I can stop peeing on things!!!
@BertieMeetsGertie I’ve had a really rocky chart lately too. So weird.
@mrs35 I’ve been wondering that about Wondfos too. It seems like FMU is the only time I get anything more than a faint line on one of those.
@lulu1180 Wow what a cluster. Here’s hoping today is better!! Also I felt the same way about the US after going to Italy, there’s so much history everywhere!
@bswishe4 Just... I identify with everything you said in your R/R... so much.

R/R: Just waiting for O and debating whether we should try to HIO tomorrow morning or not. That wasn’t part of our plan and we’re both a little sick of the sex right now. But my chart is all over the place so, awesome.

African Safari. That just seems like it would be such a cool, once in a lifetime experience.
