We had our shower yesterday, it was really nice and low-key, which was perfect for us. It's been a busy weekend, though - my family came up from Atlanta on Friday so I took the day off to hang out with them, and they all came over to our house after the shower, along with a couple other friends, to carve pumpkins. It was kind of a madhouse, and I am so wiped out today. I should be going to yoga today, but it starts in an hour and I honestly don't think I can swing it.
@aevan011 thank you! My main concern was belly and DD1... as long as I got good photographs of those 2, it would be money well spent. And just by those few preview shots I'm completely satisfied!
@cayaylonglegs if your uterus isn't getting firm it may not be a contrax of any kind. Could just be a little crampy or rlp. Even BH will make (at least part of) your uterus firm.
Sometimes I can't tell if I'm having contractions until I feel my belly. Then it's super obvious. BH I can usually get to stop if I sit or lay down and drink a lot...but they start right back up when I get up. The real contrax I had last week did not stop until the medicine stopped them. I did not feel that they were much different except maybe more timeable.
Being a stm and having been through labor before I thought I'd know...but I had no idea. If you are concerned certainly call your doctor. I hate being a "problem patient" so I waited 24 hours before calling and was kinda told that was stupid, that if there's any question, just call.
