What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?
My first! Having a boy.

What is your occupation or dream occupation?
Does winning the lotto and not having to work count? It would be awesome to not have to worry about money and find some passions on the side.

Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination?
We are going with a construction theme. Honestly we found a great deal on a 13 piece bedding/decoration set on Wayfair for like $100 and won't need much else. Walls will be painted soon- one accent wall will be a pale green and the rest will be a pale yellow. Way cuter than it sounds!

Have you bought anything for baby yet?
We have been so blessed with friends/co-workers giving us hand-me-downs and I've shopped resale, but we haven't really bought many new things yet. My showers are next weekend and the following weekend so I'm sure we will buy whatever we don't get then.

If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far?
H's grandparents sent us some money to buy a few things, and so we did buy a crib. It's a beautiful dark chocolate color and goes so well with the bedding. It makes it real to see where our baby will sleep eventually!

What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far?
Being totally honest- I don't love pregnancy as much as I thought I would. Yes, it's a miracle and a blessing I am thankful for.. But I'm ready to have my body back. Right now, feeling him move and kick is helping me feel connected, and that is awesome and cool to know that my body can take a few cells and multiply and make a baby!
Also my bump is wayyyyy noticeable and everyone comments on it. Can't decide if I love it or hate it. I'm just trying to enjoy all of these things since I only have about 6 1/2 weeks left until he is due.

Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand?
LuLaRoe is an obsession right now. It's not maternity- but stretchy enough that I'm wearing my normal sizes.. And knowing I will actually be able to wear these clothes again after baby gets here is great so I don't feel like I'm wasting money. (No I am not a consultant- just love it!)
But as far as actual maternity brand, Gap maternity v neck shirts are really cute and flattering on me.

One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy?
I realllllllly want a JuJuBe diaper bag! If no one gets it for me at my shower, I will splurge on it for myself.

What are your top pregnancy related priorities?
I am planning a natural birth at a birthing center, so anything that helps me prepare and understand the process is at the top of my list right now. Birthing class was personally AMAZING for us.
I'm also just trying to relax and get my head right. Kinda being selfish right now while I am still able to.

What is your favorite book?
Y'all might think I'm weird now, but Many Lives, Many Masters By Brian Weiss changed the way I view the world. Even if you don't agree with everything in it- it's a great read and gets your mind thinking and being more aware.

What is your favorite tv show?
I love Wheel of Fortune! Hahaha. Other than that, H and I record a lot of tv. Mostly nature or survival shows, or murder shows.
Dang, I'm a lot more weird than I thought.

What is your favorite movie?
The Goonies! Love that movie, it never gets old.

What is your favorite band/singer?
I love Matchbox Twenty. My mom and I just recently saw Rob Thomas in concert, and it was magical.

Anything else you would like us to know?
I am so thankful for this board! Y'all are so supportive, and even though sometimes I get way busy and take a few days off from posting.. I do follow up with what is being said. We have a great group here!!!

@slartybartfast Haha yes!! I saw an episode of Wife Swap where some celebrity wife swapped with his 'main girlfriend'.. He has his own cult going on- of Angels I think he calls them. Similar to Hugh Hefner, except he has rules like his girls aren't allowed to eat meat and some are fruit-itarian. Haha. He's an interesting guy for sure!!

MB20 is STILL on my list of bands I NEED to see before I die. Rob Thomas alone would be great too. I actually had tickets to them in my city about 13 years ago (college), but they ended up cancelling for some reason that I can't remember. I was SOOOO bummed, cos we had great seats.

When my husband was really young (like 1 to 2), he used to watch Wheel of Fortune while his mom cooked dinner. She gives it credit for him being a super early reader!

Yay, we're due date twins! Also, I feel you on the "not really loving pregnancy" part. It's not that I hate it or wouldn't do it again, but it's a lot more work physically than I was expecting, especially in this last stretch. Good luck to you in these remaining 6.5 weeks(!!!!!!!).
