I've been craving Thanksgiving type food lately and fruits. My day today has consisted of 3 bananas, 2 apples, and Turkey breast with gravy, dressing, and sweet potato casserole.
I made a 9 cheese Mac n cheese with kielbasa and broccoli for dinner the other night and just finished it for my lunch today. I basically used whatever leftover shredded cheese I had, which was cheddar, Colby and Monterey jack, and a 6 cheese Italian blend. Yeah, it was amazing. And I'm sad smoothie king doesn't have their pumpkin pie smoothie because I was craving that today.

I just want ice cream. Fro yo isn't cutting it. I've tried. And yesterday I ate Cheerios for breakfast and for lunch because that was all that sounded good.
Our anniversary was Monday and we thawed out the top layer of our wedding cake. We were both thinking it would be freezer burned and gross, but it's still delicious. So I've had chocolate cake every night this week. And maybe one morning too...
@gowenc Our 2 is next Monday, so last year we got the top layer of our cake (we only had 2 tiers) from my parents freezer. We just did a white cake, but I thought it still tasted great! I don't think DH tried it at all. My sister also susprised us with a cute little cake, cos we did a little overnight getaway where she lives. That one was red velvet from a local bakery, and was SO good.
Happy belated 1 year!
A couple friends hosted a baby shower for me on Sunday and had a cake made of cupcakes with an owl decorated on that. I didn't realize how much frosting (whipped, thankfully) goes into making those! But, I've had a cupcake from it every night since... and at lunch when I've gone home. #noshame

I woke up from my nap deeply wanting a hotdog wrapped in foil like you'd buy at a high school football game. DH sweetly packed me in the car and now we are off to find me a hotdog.
Give me all the cereal. Lucky charms, mini wheats, Golden Grahams, Honey Nut Cheerios, pumpkin spice Life... I am having cereal at least daily if not twice a day. I know it's lots of carbs but it has to be better than candy right? It's fortified with vitamins so I call it healthy. :-P
We were surprised how good our wedding cake was a year later too!
I'm in Ohio visiting my parents and am eating all the things. I typically have all my food planned out on any visit here though so I can't blame the baby. First stop was Bob Evans.
I'm so bummed. I was really wanting a philly cheese steak today, so I went to one of my favorite places. I got about 1/4 way through my sandwich, and noticed the meat was still pretty raw. I showed the owner, and he apologized and offered to make me a new one. Unfortunately, I'm the type of person who can't eat the same thing again for a long time if it isn't cooked right or makes me sick. I have the sadsies now because I probably won't be able to bring myself to satisfy the craving for a philly cheese steak now for a LONG time.
I made a meatloaf with a layer of sauteed green and red peppers and onion in the middle, as well as a layer of shredded cheese. I also made eggplant parm and just finished that off tonight. I have been eating a lot of cheese and apples, nuts, overnight oats. I could go for some Chinese food!

I really want Halloween candy and chocolate, I took my 5yr old to a birthday party today. There was a piñata, it was my chance, I was sure DD would get all up in there and snag a whole bunch of candy for her momma. But no, she hemmed and hawed over what to pick up so that she hardly got any candy. Sigh. We need to have some practice piñata sessions. To make up for that, we are going to get Top Pot doughnuts tomorrow morning. I just want some sweet stuff! I wish there was a Krispy Kreme closer to me, but it's like a 30 minute drive away. I need to think of an excuse to drive that way!
We went out to dinner for our anniversary. After eating lobster fingers (lobster fish sticks?), braised short rib and a snickers gelato sundae I'm laying in bed trying not to throw up. So full...
White chicken chili! New recipe in the crock pot, and it turned out well. Too bad it was in the upper 70s today... would have been perfect on a brisk fall day!
I want the cake from my shower, but it's at my parents house. There's half a sheet left. I could probably eat the whole thing...not in one sitting of course, but I want my cake!

@phoenix870509 my whole cake got eaten yesterday. I keep thinking about it and regretting never going back for seconds. I don't blame you if you actually go over there, I totally would if it were an option.
It is! Less than 30 minute drive! But today is birth class part 2 and tomorrow I'm driving 45 minutes away to work with my coworker going through a rough patch and who knows how long I'll be there. We're doing dinner at my parents this week so I will get it then. Until that time I dream of my cake...
