R/R: The worst thing about being a teacher is not being able to go to the bathroom when you need to, especially during AF. On another note, I got my flu shot done yesterday in the faculty room before school started. The nurse did not know what was on her form because she asked me, "How old is he?" When I marked yes to, "Are you pregnant or could you get pregnant within the next month?" I replied, "What? I marked no to the first and yes to the second if you look above it." She said it didn't matter because all of the shots she brought were preservative free. (FYI they do have egg in them if you are allergic!) I was trying to be discreet around my coworkers!
CS/Q: Nope. DH was on shift and I slept with both sweatpants and the portable heater on. Temp was super high so I'm going to have to throw it out if FF doesn't ignore it. (which it probably will since it's so early in the cycle)
GTKY: We were supposed to go out to dinner with friends tonight, but DH just told me he got overtime, which means he will have worked for 36 hours straight and won't get out until 7:30 pm. I doubt he will want to go out and I hate seafood, so I may not go without him. Softball on Saturday and Sunday. I've hurt my knee two weekends in a row and DH wants me to retire. Haha

CS/Q: Sorry in advance for the long post. AF was really light for me this month. Only three days of actual flow, with four days of spotting before and one or two after. I have a appointment next month to ask about getting a prescription for cramps and ask about my spotting. It really varies from 0 days to 4 before I get AF and I'm not sure if that's normal. When I happen to get cramps in the middle of the night, nothing really seems to help and I'm up for a few hours. I only get cramps like that on my first day of AF, and it doesn't seem to be as bad during the day. Anyone else have these problems? Of course now I'm wondering if it's endometriosis (which I don't think I have) or low progesterone.
GTKU: What are your weekend plans?
I think we're going to work on getting our planters/garden taken down, watch football, and go the the winery that a few miles from our house.

R/R: TGIF baby! I so wanted to stay home today for a mental health day. One of my friends FB messaged me last night asking for my fetal doppler that I had gotten when I was pregnant with DD. I told her that I didn't know where it was and that I would have to look for it and then asked why she needed it. Of course she said she was pregnant. We should be due around the same time if I hadn't had that cp. I'm just sad today. I have also come to realize that I stink at self care. I need to start practicing what I preach to clients. But since I'm me, I'm here at work. Hopefully today goes by fast.
CS/Q: not charting currently but will start when AF appears.
GTKU: What are your weekend plans? Saturday night I am going to a comedy show with a friend which I'm really looking forward to the girls night out. Saturday during the day I'm not too sure. DH wants to go apple picking. I'm not sure how much I want to go. Sunday, who knows. I like quiet weekends since mentally I haven't been there.

By the time it was over and I went back to bed I only had an hour before I had to get up.

He was told he wouldn't be able to get it because too many people already have it off (and he's low man on the totem pole). He texted me this morning and got it off because apparently someone switched their day off! Woohoo!! I always love going down to my in-laws!
CS/Q: hahahahahahaha......way too early for that!
GTKU: What are your weekend plans? If my sister ever texts me back, I may go to a craft show tomorrow, grocery shopping, cleaning the dog hair in our house, maybe try to make a special dinner for DH and I for Sweetest Day tomorrow. Then starting to browse/shop for mattresses on Sunday. Our current one is only about 8 1/2 years old but it wasn't the best one when I bought it and we really need a new one soon.

R/R: I am 90% sure my OPKs are BS. I know everyone here thinks secondary signs aren't great indicators, but since I can't temp due to my BSC schedule, its what I have, and they matched up really well with ovulation every month when I was temping for 2 years, so for me, they are really accurate. Well I have all of my ovulation signs- beyond EWCM, really high sex drive, boobs are HUGE- I am even desperate enough that this AM I searched for my cervix (which did involve me falling off the toilet) CP is low and soft and open. And yet, my OPKs up to yesterday are exactly the same as day 8, 9 and 10. No change. I usually ovulate around CD12-14, so this isn't really that early. I am gonna take them for the next few days, but I think they are fakes which is ridiculous since I bought them from USHealth Tests on Amazon and they are an approved Wondfo seller. I had a few old batches of Wondfos that worked beautifully for me, and this is my first month with this new batch and its dumb. At least it won't affect my timing too much since my H and I have sex ED or EOD throughout my cycle anyway, but the control freak in me wants to know whats going on in there. Grump-ity grump grump.
But, not everything is ranty. Today is my day off and I see my mommy! We are going shopping and out to lunch which always involves a bottle of wine. Yay!
CS/Q: If someone could use their ovary goggles and figure out whats happening with me, that would be super. Obviously not serious, but someone needs to get on making those so everyone can just stop peeing on things.
GTKY: What are your weekend plans?
Tonight the husband and I are having a stay-at-home date night. Picnic in front of the fire place and we are gonna bake a pie together.

CS/Q: At CD11, I'm already feeling like a charting failure. All this week I've been waking up an hour before my alarm. I take my temp and then usually manage to fall back asleep. When I wake up again an hour later, my temp is anywhere from .4-.7 higher. I enter the first temp into FF because that was after a "solid" block of sleep. However, I've been recording the second temp in the "notes" section just to keep track. Am I doing this right?

@eggplantface I've been tracking my cycles for over 3 years (just when I have spotting and flow, not temping). I should write it all out to see if there's some kind of pattern but I couldn't discern one by looking month to month. Some months I'll have 0-1 days of spotting and other times it's 4. R/R: I'm having a really rough time lately. And last night at work was definitely the straw that broke the camel's back. I had to spine board an athlete and send him to the ER via ambulance, got into a blowout fight with our defensive coordinator after he threw a temper tantrum and screamed at me on the sideline (for doing my job!!!!), had to deal with a stabbing (!!!!) that happened between two students after the football game, and then didn't get home from the ER until 1am. I am tired. I am emotionally drained. I couldn't sleep last night even after I got home and now I am an emotional ball of rage.
I have been doing a good job lately of keeping my anxiety under control but I have been sitting on the ledge of a panic attack for several days now. I take care of people for a living so one would think I would know how to take care of my own mental health. Not so much.
CS/Q: Hoping I get CH tomorrow so I can enter the BSC phase of my cycle.
GTKU: What are your weekend plans?
Thank goodness I do not have work today, so I am going to a Holiday Market with my mother in law. Hopefully it will be good for me and help take my mind off everything. Tomorrow my friend is coming in from out of town to visit so the day will be filled with good food, good company, and good football.
