Just for fun, what are your favorite lullabies to sing or play for your baby to soothe them?

    Currently we have two go to songs.  The chorus to the songs "Hugs" by Ben Sands and " Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles.  I'm also currently learning "Lost Boy" by Ruth B

    I don't have a favorite per se but I like to sing a lot of Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra, and Dean Martin tunes. Damien seems to like them...probably the only person in the world that tolerates my singing haha.

    Sam's favorite song seems to be the abcs. I'm not a singer and that was my go to song in the beginning because it was one I could sing without thinking about the words. Now, no matter how upset he is, if I start singing the abcs he will calm down.

    DH is pretty good at making up songs on the spot too. Usually about boobs or how chunky Jackie is.

    My husband has so many songs he has created...usually he just butchers popular songs and inputs his own lyrics to fit the moment. Cracks me up.

    You Are My Sunshine. It's what my mom sang to me growing up. It's so cute seeing big sister sing it to little sister.

    I've discovered you can sing a song about ANYTHING to the tune of the Hokie Pokie !!  He also likes You are my Sunshine, Hakuna Matata, twist and shout, and the Leanne Rimes version of You light up my life.  What can I say, his life is like a musical.

    I started singing Over the Rainbow at bedtime, and looking up the words to it got me into If I Only had a Brain/ Heart/ Nerve which cracks her up during the day.
    I sing the classics... Mary Had a Little Lamb, Hush Little Baby, and in the morning I sing Morning Has Broken. My mom used to sing just the three words "Morning has broken..." to us as kids when she'd pull up the shades in the morning, and then just hum the tune. So now I had to learn the rest of the words because that would drive me nuts haha.
