How many weeks? 32 weeks!

What size is baby? Squash, pomelo, bok choy

Upcoming appointments? I have one a week from today - the first of my every other week appointments.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant - sleeping has been bad lately. I wake up every hour (sometimes two if I'm lucky) because he's moving enough to wake me up. Also - does anyone else feel like their baby has gotten super heavy over the past few weeks? For me it's like I can finally tell that the extra weight is "baby" and not just a layer of fat haha. Secondary rant - I have to write my end-of-year self evaluation today. I really have a hard time doing those.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I had a really really good latte the other day and I've been craving another. It was from a local coffee shop and Starbucks just isn't cutting it.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? I thought a "would you rather" type question might be fun this week! For me I'd rather be alive in the future - there are too many parts of the past I'd be hoping to avoid!

How many weeks? 32 weeks! Holy cow, that only leaves 49 days until my RCS.

What size is baby? A squash, a hard hat, etc.

Upcoming appointments? OB appt yesterday, then a perinatologist appt this Tuesday.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I stepped on the scale yesterday at the OB to find that I had gained 3.7 lbs in 2 weeks. My jaw just about hit the floor.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I'm starting to sleep like crap, so I end up exhausted more. Also, braxton hicks on the regular.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? I think I'd go with the past.

What size is baby? Celery

Upcoming appointments? Every Wednesday.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Well Doc didnt give in as much as I wanted, but he will check next week. If there is any cerclage left he will consider removing it. YAY!!!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Between the back ache, contractions every day-but not enough to call/go in- and L still teething Im lucky to get 3 hrs including a nap.

Upcoming appointments? GD class tomorrow, OB next week.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave - it's my birthday! Enjoying the day off

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Craving a Resees pumpkin. Thinking about buying several bags to hide until after delivery when hopefully GD goes away. And cake. Will be craving my great grandma's Christmas cookies in a few weeks, so I've decided instead of freezer meals I'm going to make cookie dough and freeze it for baking after delivery, because I can't go though a whole holiday season without having them.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? I don't know, this one's hard. Maybe past, to a time when families were able to stay in the same town where they had always been. But women didn't have it so great then. But really, I guess neither, I'm good with this life in the present.

@Kate08Young ugh, I'm sorry you're not sleeping much and L is still teething. My sleep has really gone down hill recently, and I'm just dragging all day.

Upcoming appointments?
Next Friday we have an ultrasound! Last Friday we had an elective 3D and she is gorgeous!

Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: my house is clean and we have our baby shower Saturday!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Out of breath and kinda nauseous again...but so worth it.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future?
Definitely the past! DH and I have always been told we were born in the wrong decade.

@Mamax2 Its soo bad. Yesterday we ran some errands that required me to drive most of the day. L got 3 naps and I got none. I crashed at 8 pm. Too bad it didnt last.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Think I'm getting a cold. Not fun when your stomach has shifted. Threw up last night from coughing.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Exhaustion and heartburn is in full swing.

What size is baby? According to all my app alerts a zucchini or a cabbage. 15.7 inches long and about 3 lbs

Upcoming appointments? Monday is the next appointment. Then starts the bi-weekly ones!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am becoming more and more agitated by the little things. I am struggling today with my body not feeling like it's my body anymore. I know that it will be that way for a while since I am choosing to BF, but I think I am having anxiety regarding who I am and the changes that are coming. My husband is really getting on my nerves lately. For 25 weeks I have knowingly been hosting my womb guest and all I ask is that he shows some sympathy be more involved. He is going to be a great dad, he is just not being a very good co-pregnancy partner. Just not a happy glowy preggo right now. I can't wait for the pregnancy part to be done so I can just snuggle and sniff my creature!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I want breakfast foods. Pancakes mostly. My back pain has been flaring up badly this week because of my tossing and turning all through the night. Reflux destroys me at night. Starting to feel beatings on different sides of the bulge at the same time - wow is it trippy.

What size is baby? Honeydew melon

Upcoming appointments? Had an appt this week. Baby is still breech. Everything else looked good. They told me to see PT for my back pain so that is scheduled for next Monday.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm so done with work. Getting here is a huge pain now that I'm having back issues bc I usually walk or take public transit and both are a nightmare with the pain. Also I just don't have the energy to do everything that my bosses want me to get done.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Reflux but it is somewhat better since I've been avoiding anything with tomatos. Back pain. Fatigue.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? Probably the past. I worry the future is going to be a dark place if the world as a whole doesn't deal with some of our current issues.

What size is baby? Acorn squash. Or butternut squash. Depending on who you ask.

Upcoming appointments? Moved my next midwife appointment from Wednesday to Tuesday because, uh, apparently I'm going to Berlin from Wednesday to Friday. (It's for a work thing.)

Rants/Raves/Questions? So glad my H is home from his deployment. Now I feel like the final countdown begins! Third tri is treating me pretty well in general. Oh, and I got my breast pump, so I'm pretty...pumped...about that. Heh.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Some sciatic nerve pain if I push myself too hard. And, um, nesting? (Apparently my kitchen HAD to be reorganized last night.) No cravings or aversions that I can tell. But I've had a pretty even-keeled pregnancy from the beginning.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? Probably future. The technological advancements will be pretty nuts. I'm assuming.

What size is baby? A bunch of celery or a head of cauliflower.

Upcoming appointments? Had a check in with my midwife today. All is good on blood pressure, etc, but apparently she was a little concerned about my score on the questionnaire they gave me last time on depression indicators. I do have a bit of a history, and after pretty easy first and second trimesters, the third is hitting me like a ton of bricks. I'm having some pretty bad sleep issues the last few weeks and it's making it hard to cope with other symptoms that would be pretty mild otherwise. But then some days I'm totally fine.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Despite the above, I still love feeling/seeing him move, it is just such a cool thing.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Lots of little stuff - occasional heartburn, shortness of breath, some swelling, the beginnings of carpel tunnel, hip pain, stuffiness, and of course - insomnia.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? Well, for a few reasons I think the future. For one, my husband and I would have been breaking laws if we had gotten married a few decades ago (he's black, I'm white). Also, I am finishing up a book called Birth: The Surprising History of How We Are Born. It's really interesting but also kind of horrifying how pregnant women have been treated through time. Even though there are some concerning trends in our world right now, I think we're making progress in a lot of ways. Hopefully...

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? This is the first year I haven't had birthday cake on my birthday due to being too sick to eat it. I want Rhett to stay put til our C section date but since delivery is probably the only thing that will make all the sickness stop... I'm kind of ready to have this baby.

GTKY: If you were reborn in a new life, would you rather be alive in the past or future? Future. Women's rights have come such a long way, I can only hope that they will be even more improved in the future. Plus medical advancements, new technology, etc.
