Testing: I did today. BFN. I will only test again if AF is late.
R/R: I am really hoping that AF either comes when FF predicts that it will, or that I O at least a day later than I did this cycle. Otherwise we will miss O completely because DH will be traveling for work for an entire week.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book?
This is tough. There is a little golden boom called A Day At The Park that I loved. I also really liked 101 Dalmatians (the chapter book.)
Testing: BFN this morning. I will try not to test again until my blood test on Saturday but who am I kidding.
R/R: I was okay with the BFN this morning but not sure if its because its early or because I can't imagine that I will ever actually GKU. It feels like a total fantasy to me.
CS/Q: nah.
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? Anne of Green Gables. When I was really little my mom would read it to me and then as I got older we would read it together. I have watched the PBS movies over and over again.

R/R: see timing. And a psycho who I work with 1% of the time yelled at me at work yesterday. Logically I know it was ridiculous, but it still shook my confidence because I'm relatively new and that person is a person in authority even if I don't work with them that often. When I asked my boss about it, she told me how to avoid the situation in the future without acknowledging that the person was wrong. Which they totally were.
CS/Q: NA. Chart is a mess.
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? I loved all book about a grandma making pasta. I wish I remembered it's name.
Hi guys. I haven't been around for a few days because after I mentioned on Thursday over in WTO **TW my grandfather wasn't doing well, he actually passed away that afternoon, so I took a few days off from Bumping. But we're all doing okay over here, and I missed you all! *end TW*

@laurad75 For some reason I vividly remember starting Anne of Green Gables like 6 times, and never actually finishing it...
@Kiki75 I have never heard of that book! Is it well known?
@hupp0013 I also loved any and everything Dalmations.

Testing: So I totally planned on testing this morning. Went to grab a First Response test...turns out I didn't have one! I flipped out and debated running to the store before work, but I didn't have time. Because I'm crazy, I peed in a cup thinking I could maybe save it and test later? lol I dipped an OPK in, and it was negative of course. Which is making me think I can't possibly be KU...is this true?
R/R: This has been a really tough week. My mom is having heart surgery tomorrow, my car died and will cost $1500 to fix, and this cycle has been extremely confusing for me. I just feel emotionally drained.
CS/Q: 14 DPO and temps are still up (but I have a slight scratchy throat). I'm so confused, especially because of my CM and CP. It was low and extremely dry until today. Then BOOM, this morning it is high and I'm *TMI* dripping with watery CM. This is more than I even had on O day.
So many questions, but probably none that anyone could answer lol. Just venting really, but any insight is appreciated: . If my OPK was negative, should I even bother taking a HPT? . Could I use my FMU that I saved to test during my lunch break or should I just test after work? . Anyone get a high cervix and watery CM before AF? . Could I possibly be ovulating right now? Or is that nuts? I did get a +OPK on 6 DPO, which has been making me question everything despite my clear temp shift.
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? Hmmmm...I loved Goodnight Moon
@Kiki75 Ha, that book was a tradition in my DH's house when he was growing up. We like to laugh about how old he was before he figured out there probably ISN'T a bear... (Oh shoot, should I have tagged that spoiler-alert? ;-) )
@theweevee Ugh, I've had stuff like that happen to me at work before at my old job and it's the worst, especially when higher-ups won't say anything helpful. What a cruddy start to the week - I hope it gets better fast!
@hartmich I'm so sorry for your loss. Internet-hugs to you.

Testing: 16 dpiui per RE's orders, if I can somehow wait that long.
R/R: Yesterday I was all, "Two mature follicles and 18 million active swimmers, how can this NOT work this cycle?!" Today I'm all, "I don't see why this cycle would be different than the 11 that came before it, we have no chance." So over the roller coaster.
CS/Q: Nada.
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? SO many! Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising changed my life and made me fall in love with fantasy when I read them at 10. The Emily of New Moon trilogy was also very close to my heart.
@theweevee eff your twatwaffle coworker. Don't let it shake your confidence - you're amazing so don't play into his/her disfunction. I have a super narcissistic coworker who's bordered on emotional abuse with me. Eff that shit. *creepy internet hugs*

Month/Cycle: 3/3

Testing: have an ob/gyn appointment today just for my annual stuff and to get to know a new doctor since I'm new here. Not sure if they'll make me do a pee test.
R/R: buckle up ladies. This is going to be a dear diary/vent for me. I apologize in advance.
My mom just visited me for 3 days. She's a little crazy, was a high functioning alcoholic for years, but went to AA about 10 years ago and had been sober ever since (supposedly). She was supposed to drive home from ND to CO yesterday. At about 6:30pm I get a call from a police officer in WY - she'd been in a single car accident. She's fine, but she totaled her car. Oh, and she was wasted. Her BAC was .299. There were multiple calls into the police department reporting her passing people at 100 mph and driving erratically. They report that she tried to take an off-ramp and hit the guard rail; her car flipped multiple times and caught on fire. A pedestrian put the fire out and pulled her out. She's lucky to be alive, let alone uninjured, and to have NOT hurt anyone else. She was drunk texting me from the hospital all evening, and obviously not really making sense. She and my dad are divorced, but I called my dad because he lives in Colorado about 70 miles from the hospital she was taken to. I guess she tried calling friends and/or coworkers to come get her because she was discharged from the hospital last night, but the hospital put her up in a hotel for the night. I talked to her this morning and she's going to call my dad to pick her up. The salvage yard that has her car said that it's one of the worst totaled vehicles they'd ever seen, and she's not likely to be able to recover anything from it. So she has her phone, but not her purse, wallet, or suitcase. I was willing to drive down to be with her if she was going to be in the hospital for a few days, but I can't miss work unnecessarily because I just used a bunch of vacation days. I feel guilty for not driving the 12 hours down there, but I really need to be at work. Essentially she just needs a ride home. And an AA meeting. Maybe rehab.

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? Anything horse related.
@hartmich So sorry to hear! @CallaLily25 I can't tell you what to do, but I would wait. I would probably freak out if I got a BFP at work. Let us know what happens!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@hartmich I am so sorry for your loss! Sounds like he was very very loved.

Timing: -2, -1, O
Testing: I'm crazy and start testing 8 dpo (next Monday ). My birthday is Wednesday so it will be good to have an idea of which way this is going.
R/R: I am le tired. OH actually, my BFF is like 6 dpo now, so that's exciting. We are not testing together though because we did that last time and it was bad. Keeping my eye on @MelissaM090 who never posts here and @KristoB because we are now quadruples (quints if you count bff)
CS/Q: I think my timing was really more like -1, O, +1 because I O'd in the middle of the day but temps are saying I O'd the next day. I'll keep it in the back of mind that I'm probably 1/2 a day futher.

@LuND: Wow, that's quite a story, and I have no words for how incredibly sorry I am that you have to deal with that. I have some similar family experiences. Addiction is so, so hard to watch in other people. It's so hard not to be angry and remember that it's a disease... but also stand up for yourself. I still haven't found that right line, there. Anyway I just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and your family!
(Also your GTKY made me realize I left the Thoroughbred series off my favorite childhood books! I was obsessed.)

Thank you. Yeah, I was proud that I didn't lash out at her with anger, but my instincts vacillate between "back away slowly from the crazy alcoholic" and "I should be there". Dealing with lots of anger, guilt, sadness, fear, etc. Thank you for your kind words!
And, YES!!!!! I was also obsessed with the Thoroughbred series! I wanted to be a jockey so bad, but it was the universe's cruel joke that I ended up being 5'9" tall lol.

Timing: Errrr'y day.
Testing: Never. Maybe if I get to be, like, a week late.
R/R: I'm ready for this cycle to be over so I can get on with the HSG and all that stuff. OH! And our final application has been mailed. We will hear back within 30 days if we passed the initial checks. We start classes in January. We will probably have our Home Studies pretty much done by then since we have so much down time.
CS/Q: I don't know what is happening with my chart. I haven't been sleeping well, so I haven't been relying solely on temps. But if ya'll wanna look, it's linked in my signature. Oh, and also, my I have no idea what my OPKs are doing. I just can't.
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? Ohhhhh. I loved the books by Madeline L'Engle. There was also a book I loved that was all about science. Literally not even really a children's book. I just loved it. I was weird. Also, obviously Harry Potter. Charlotte's Web, and The Secret Garden were good ones. Island of the Blue Dolphins, Bridge to Terabithia, The Giver, Watership Down.... Should I keep going...?
@Sugargirl1019 Suggggaaarrrrrrr, I don't know what is happening with my chart and OPKs. HALP. I thought we were buddies and you might have left me behind.

R/R: so I love my new dr! She's young and she actually listened & answered my questions.
CS/Q: ok so I'm on Augmentin for my uti. And got a yeast infection. Ugh. So they put me on Diflucan last night. This morning I have light pink spotting. Can antibiotics make you spot? Could it be implantation spotting at 8dpo? If so, when should I test? And I'm freaking out that I'm starting AF and my luteal phase is even shorter than last month!
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? I loved Sweet Valley Twins, then Sweet Valley High & University
R/R: i nearly broke down and tested this morning since my temps continue to be high and I usually start sliding down at 6-7dpo. I was strong though, I can wait one more day.... Daycare called they think DS has hand foot and mouth AGAIN!!! this would be the third time this year... and can they do anything for it, NO, your kid just has to suffer through and not go to daycare for a week +. OK end rant....
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? doctor doolitle (with proper education about the language used...) Cheeper by the dozen... because of that book when I was little I wanted 12 kids... I no longer want that many but DH still teases me about it.

@Lund TW*** my stepmom was a high functioning alcoholic, it was heart breaking waffling between your an adult and you need to deal with your own mess and guilt about being there and not being there. Unfortunately in the end she died after a surgery when she mixed her pain meds with alcohol. I still have a lot of guilt thinking I should have done more, but one one could make her stop if she didn't want to. End TW*** I'm so sorry you have to deal with this and I get it. big hugs girl.

@hartmich So sorry for your loss Creepy internet hugs to you.
@LuND Good luck at the doctor tomorrow. That is so awful about your mom -- I can't imagine how hurt and betrayed you must feel coupled with relief that she is OK and didn't harm anyone else. Creepy internet hugs. I hope she gets herself figured out.

@hupp0013 It's so frustrating dealing with work travel and FWs. Every month I have to have MH bid his schedule around what I think might end up being FW, before I even know very well where the current cycle is going. @laurad75 It's early! @theweevee It takes some time to get it all figured out. @hartmich I am so very sorry about your grandfather. I don't know if it's a really well-known book but it looks like it was newly published when my sisters and I were kids so maybe that's it? https://www.amazon.com/Little-Strawberry-Hungry-Childs-Library/dp/1846434033 @CallaLily25 I think your FMU will still be 'good' as far as HCG goes. FX that things start looking up this week! @BaileyM321 16 dpiui? That's like an eternity! @LuND I am so sorry to hear all of that. What a horrible mix of emotions. I'm so glad that she's safe--both from the wreck and that super high BAC--and that no one else was injured. Bless that pedestrian who stopped to help. I don't think that you need to feel too badly about not driving down there. It's a mixed thing but maybe it's kind of good if not everyone is dropping everything to go help her. Be kind but be clear how hurt you are. Maybe instead of going down there now, go down there to support her when she's putting the pieces back together (rehab, dealing with court stuff, etc.). Prayers that this is the last time and she is truly able to be clean from now on. @sugargirl1019 We're on the same wavelength! FX for the quints. And YES to Nancy Drew! Her and her titian hair and Volvo. So many memories of climbing up on the stool at the school library picking out the next book. @KhRun17 FX for a great Saturday! @haylsbayls Yay for the big haircut! @KristoB Were you also the kid who would suggest reading parties at school? I think back to it now and I'm pretty sure that the other kids were so annoyed when I would always suggest a reading party instead of a movie party. @furbabymom2007 FX! @purplg8r So glad you liked your new doctor! @wabash15 Does his daycare have a little Typhoid Mary running around? It's starting to get a little weird that he's gotten it so many times. FX it's a mild case this time and it doesn't happen again! @adirat Party at your house!! I generally stay pretty busy when H is gone because that's when I do my best getting stuff done instead of just hanging out with him so my guess is that it will help the time go faster.

Hopefully it's just some random spotting and not a short luteal phase and AF on her way. @wabash15 Ugh. HFM is awful. I feel so bad for your ds. Hopefully it's a mild case and passes quickly. @adirat Hoping this is your cycle! I also loved the babysitters club series! So corny to look back on now but I wanted my own babysitters club haha.
@adirat - Haha, thanks for looking. It's crazzzyyy. I blame my husband and dogs for causing sleep issues. @Kiki75 - OMG. I got a little creeped out at first because I thought you might know me. I really did ask for reading parties!!! hahaa.

@hupp0013 I'm travelling during next month's predicted FW and of course I'm SUPER mad about it. FX we each O early next time.
@adirat FX that this is your month! I know you've said it before, but how come you'll be TTA after this cycle? I can't remember.
@KristoB I remember bawling my eyes out during A Little Princess (the movie) when her dad dies. (He dies right? Or leaves? Or something.)
@Lund I can't imagine how you must feel, but I hope you don't feel any guilt for doing what's best for you and your family. If that means staying home, that's what that means.
@wabash15 My cousin's twins came down with HF&M from their first week in daycare last week. It doesn't sound pleasant. I hope your DS has a quick recovery!
Testing: Trying to hold out until friday or saturday.
R/R:
DS and I are both home with nasty sinus infections. Loving the down
time but not both of us being sick and the crankiness that comes from a
sick 2 year old.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I still have it memorized! I love it!
@hartmich - If I remember correctly, at the beginning of the movie it says he did. But it turns out *spoiler alert* they thought a dead body was him but it was actually someone else and he was in the hospital with amnesia...
edit to add- I really need to watch this again.

@Kiki75 I just noticed the spider costume in your sig -- that is AMAZING.
@GeorgiaWife6912 Thanks! Yes, I wanted one too. I also really wanted to have my own phone line like Claudia Kishi did but my parents did not go for that. I hope you feel better soon! This is going to sound super weird but oregano and oregano oil fix my sinus infections really quickly.
@hartmich Thanks My husband finishes his PhD in May 2017, and he'll start a postdoc in August. We will have to move, likely cross-country, in July. We were hoping to have a baby by then since infants are so portable, but obviously that isn't the case so far. We need to avoid having a late July, August, or early September due date given the move and his job's start date. We'll start TTC again for a late September due date, which is probably 2-3 months. I am trying not to think about it because I don't need more stress this TWW, but I don't feel optimistic and I know it's going to be a really hard time emotionally for both of us to have done this whole five cycles with no baby then have to wait.
I wish I could invite you all over for a "husband out of town" TWW party!
@hartmich So sorry about your grandfather. Creepy internet hugs! @CallaLily25 Fx for your mom and sorry this week has been so rough. Hopefully next week looks better! @LuND As someone well versed in the guilt vs. handle yourself arena, I can only say that I hope your mom gets the help she needs, and that you find comfort in your decision to stay home. FWIW, I think you did the right thing. @Sugargirl1019 Yay for Monday testing! I'm hoping I can hold out that long.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 24/unsure
Timing: nearly EOD since last AF - hopefully pretty good
Testing: Monday, unless AF shows sooner
R/R: I've been trying to find a way to import my data from Clue into FF and it's driving me crazy. I want to use FF since it seems like the best for tracking temps, but I've been using Clue since July 2015 and don't want to lose all of my history. Unless I can figure out a work around, I might just start using both. Ugh. Rave? I went to the gym last night for the first time in forever (I've been biking and running instead) and I haven't lost as much strength as I thought I would have. So there's that.
CS/Q: Not unless anyone knows some magical way to import history into FF...
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? The first thing that pops into my head is the Indian in the Cupboard. And this is probably more tween/teen than childhood, but I will forever be a Harry Potter nerd.
@hartmich I believe.... they are from India. And then he volunteers to fight in the British army in WW1? So he drops her off at the school in NewYork? I can't remember exactly how it all comes together though...

I think this will be my last post in TWW before heading back to WTO. GL TO EVERYONE!!!
Month/Cycle: 4/3 (or 4/4) TTCAL
CD/DPO: 28/13 or CD1...time will tell
Timing: best we could do
Testing: again this morning for good measure; BFN and spotting
R/R: Rave: I was up and bumped/posted a bit a few hours ago after DH left for work but went back to sleep and tho I had VERY weird dreams, it was a nice sleep in with my two little puppies. Rant: I'm just sad again. Although, if I have a 12 day LP this cycle, that's short for me but still in the healthy range so I'm almost grateful that I don't have to wait through a 15 day LP like last cycle so I'm trying to see the positives. ETA: now I'm just really hoping DH will be home for more of my FW this time!!!!
CS/Q: temp hasn't plummeted yet, I suspect it will soon
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? Hmmm Where The Wild Things Are is a classic. We also had a scratch and sniff Berenstein Bears book that I loved! (speaking of children's books, DH had me watch a movie last night called Snowtime that's based on the kid's book, The Dog Who Won The War, and it was incredibly sad and I couldn't believe that's what I watched and I couldn't stop crying and was mad at him lol He claimed he didn't remember until partway through lol Anyways, I personally don't recommend it )
@kristob Okay, I just looked it up on google. Are you a GOT fan? If so, apparently Davos is in the movie! I checked to see if it's on Netflix (it's not) but I'm going to hunt down this movie this weekend for sure.
@hartmich - I am not a GOT fan. ... but I also haven't given it a chance, yet. I looked it up too to see if it was on Netflix. It is on Amazon instant video to rent for like, $4, or buy for I think $7? I just ordered the DVD instead, hahah.

So many questions, but probably none that anyone could answer lol. Just venting really, but any insight is appreciated:

______________________

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book?
little house on the prairie series
i read then them until the cover fell off. Then I taped then back in and kept reading
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? I loved Sweet Valley Twins, then Sweet Valley High & University
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? doctor doolitle (with proper education about the language used...) Cheeper by the dozen... because of that book when I was little I wanted 12 kids... I no longer want that many but DH still teases me about it.
I'll be back for more comments as today has been and will continue to be crazy....
Sorry for all the BFN's
@hartmich I'm so sorry for your loss
@Lund TW*** my stepmom was a high functioning alcoholic, it was heart breaking waffling between your an adult and you need to deal with your own mess and guilt about being there and not being there. Unfortunately in the end she died after a surgery when she mixed her pain meds with alcohol. I still have a lot of guilt thinking I should have done more, but one one could make her stop if she didn't want to. End TW*** I'm so sorry you have to deal with this and I get it. big hugs girl.
Diagnosed : unexplained infertility
6 rounds of IUI and a MC 2/2014, rainbow twins 4/2015
TTC #3 5/2016

IUI 2 rounds, baby girl 12/17
@KhRun17 Love you forever is my fav kids book now that I'm an adult. I read it to my first graders every year and get choked up. They always look at me like I'm crazy
@laurad75 I hear you on it feeling like a fantasy. But it is still early so I have FX for you...
@theweevee Want a CS?
@hartmich So sorry for your loss
@LuND Good luck at the doctor tomorrow. That is so awful about your mom -- I can't imagine how hurt and betrayed you must feel coupled with relief that she is OK and didn't harm anyone else. Creepy internet hugs. I hope she gets herself figured out.
@KristoB Yep you got a crazy chart this month. No idea what's happening. But FX you pass the checks and home studies really quick!
Month/Cycle: 5/5 (Last cycle before we have to TTA 2-3 months)
CD/DPO: CD19/4dpo
Timing: -4, -3, -1
Testing: Planning for Monday in case I need to start progesterone
R/R: Put the husband on a plane last night and won't see him 'til Saturday. Now I'm wondering if that will make the TWW feel longer or shorter...
CS/Q:
GTKY: I read every single Babysitters Club book when I was in fourth grade. Those books are not good but I was obsessed.
@laurad75 It's early!
@theweevee It takes some time to get it all figured out.
@hartmich I am so very sorry about your grandfather. I don't know if it's a really well-known book but it looks like it was newly published when my sisters and I were kids so maybe that's it? https://www.amazon.com/Little-Strawberry-Hungry-Childs-Library/dp/1846434033
@CallaLily25 I think your FMU will still be 'good' as far as HCG goes. FX that things start looking up this week!
@BaileyM321 16 dpiui? That's like an eternity!
@furbabymom2007 FX!

@laurad75 Sorry for your bfn as well. Hopefully it's just a little too early and your blood test will be positive!
@theweevee sorry your coworker was a TW. I can't stand people like that!
@hartmich I am so sorry for your loss! So many hugs to you! I know I'm a stranger, and far away, but please let me know if I can do anything!
@CallaLily25 so many hugs to you. I am so sorry for everything going on in your life right now. It seems so overwhelming. I hope things go well with your mom's surgery. Please keep us updated!
@BaileyM321 hugs, lady. I'm sorry for your roller coaster ride. Crossing my fingers so hard that this is your cycle!
@LuND oh my gosh! I'm so sorry about your mom! I'm glad she is ok! It definitely could have been much worse. My mom was a prescription pain pill addict so I very much understand addiction. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk!
@khrun17 you are so strong lady! I would be testing, especially with all the SS. Fx so hard this is your cycle! Also, chicka chicka boom boom is definitely my favorite as well! I still have the entire thing memorized.
#haylsbayls fx it's just too early and your frer shows a positive friday!
@purplg8r I'm trying to hold out til friday as well. FX for BOTH of us haha.

@hartmich Thanks
I wish I could invite you all over for a "husband out of town" TWW party!
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book? The first thing that pops into my head is the Indian in the Cupboard. And this is probably more tween/teen than childhood, but I will forever be a Harry Potter nerd.

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood book?
Hmmm Where The Wild Things Are is a classic. We also had a scratch and sniff Berenstein Bears book that I loved!
(speaking of children's books, DH had me watch a movie last night called Snowtime that's based on the kid's book, The Dog Who Won The War, and it was incredibly sad and I couldn't believe that's what I watched and I couldn't stop crying and was mad at him lol He claimed he didn't remember until partway through lol Anyways, I personally don't recommend it
