Toothpaste in the sink People sneezing and coughing into midair and not covering their mouths!

CS/Q: nope will probably start temping CD 5 or so
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. Hmm... not so much a pet peeve, but when people are noisy and I'm trying to focus, it drives me crazy! Also when watching people on tv and they interrupt the person they're talking to a million times.
R/R: I am concerned my new batch of OPKs are counterfeit Wondfos which makes me cranky. They don't seem to be as dark as my previous 82638288 batches, but I'll see how the progression goes since its only CD 9..although I am starting to get EWCM so I may ovulate early this cycle. GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1) People who cannot speak/write the English language correctly- and I don't mean people who are ESL, but people who don't know the difference between their, there and they're, or two, too and to, or people that say thing like, 'I ain't got no...'. It makes me twitch
2) This pet peeve is in honor of the season- but I hate when towns move Halloween to the closest Saturday. You can't just move holidays! It is Oct. 31st and should stay Oct. 31st!
@kiwi2628 I was debating on using their, there, they're, to, too, two for mine but decided since my first one was about grammar I should choose something else! It definitely ranks high on my pet peeve list too!
WAYDTGKU: temping, opk, vitamins, checking cm, "yada, yada, yada"

2) People asking me for advice and then just ignoring it. By all means, get a second or third opinion, but if you're going to ask me a question and then disregard what I say to follow the wrong advice of Joe Schmoe down the street, why did I waste my time?
@SaphireSweetie88 Ohhh talking over someone else drives me nuts too! How incredibly rude.
R/R: As I said in my intro post I am a case manager. Today, a client I have been working with since June moves into a new apartment. He has been homeless for 2 years...like on the street homeless. I am so excited for him that I cant even put it in to words.

WAYDTGKU: still waiting for AF to make her full entrance and then GTFO
R/R: Not sure where to start! I already went into everything in wtf Wed so I'll just pick the thing bothering me most. When I checked fb as I got to work this morning, I noticed my sister shared a picture, so I check it and it's a "memory" from 2010. When she was KU with my niece. Which just reminds me that I'm not KU yet, regardless of the fact that I am actually trying and she has never known what it's like to have to try and wait like this.
I do want to thank everyone for your kind words yesterday during (what is turning out to be) my bad TTC week. You have all highlighted exactly how amazing and supportive this community is and I am so happy I decided to join!

GTKU: I agree with all the ones people listed so far actually but my own add ons would be:
1- people cutting/clipping their nails in community areas. (IE living room, work desk)
@mrs35 FX that those friends can keep things at a respectable level for you. When my DH and I lived with 2 other roommates I used to wear his gun ear muffs to bed to block out their sound because they would stay up 2-3 hours past my bed time.
@beachbunnyxo123 I recently saw some videos on youtube about how to pack a lot in a carry on. Maybe check there? Let me know what you figure out because in 2 months I have to pack 6 days in a carry on for Christmas.

Tganks to her, I can pick up that sound from miles away. #2 when people where brown shoes and a black belt or vice versa. I had a professor in college who did this, so clearly he had both colors of shoes and both colors if belts. Why couldn't he wear them on the same day?!? I know I'm weird, but that drives me insane!

GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. This is a hard one. People who out the toilet paper roll on backwards and when your talking to someone about your pain/symptoms and they turn the conversation around to be all about them and that they must have that too because they feel the same.
R/R: AF showed this morning, so I'm excited to get this started. This will be my 1st trying cycle after Mirena removal. *TW* I haven't had a cycle in 3 years due to pregnancy, BF, and IUD, so trying to get everything figured back out and hoping that body cooperates.

I've had people come in diagnosing their selves with every crazy, obscure disease possible and get mad when they are told it is something else, refuse to do what they are told, and then wonder why they don't get better. 2. People who take credit for things that they didn't do. If you only showed up for the last 5 minutes and then stood back and watched, it doesn't count as your work.
@SaphireSweetie88 - I GET you on being interrupted. Depending on who does it, I have actually turned to the person to say something like, 'oh, thank your for talking over me', or 'I didn't think I sounded finished, but good to know for future reference'. Because I am a boss (not a .
@zwink1 - my clients do that! 'My dog is limping, what can I do' 'oh well xyz' 'oh, well my breeder said to do A and B, so I will do those' '.........'. Fine. Listen to your 'breeder', over me and my 8 years of study. THATS FINE.
@lulu1180 Glad you are feeling better today. Sorry about your sisters memory though (I personally hate the memory function on FB since most people just re-post more pics of their kids, but from a year ago. All. The. Time.) Also, my OB said that a light period/short period shouldn't have any bearing on my/your ability to get pregnant. I asked because I used to, and usually still do, have ridiculously light, short periods.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, CM, OPK, magnesium, B complex, CoQ10, HIO EOD with Preseed soon
R/R: I have given away / loaned out baby clothes people gave me, bought a new box of tampons, and ordered for OPKs. We also dropped off the crib to MIL's house. Will this please the TTC gods? CS/Q: Based on my charting, when would you start EOD BD? FF predicts my FW this cycle will start on the 15th, but it looks like I have probably hit O on that day or before twice in my last 10 cycles and I don't want to miss it. I could also O way later and don't want us to burn out. Side note: I feel like spotting makes a LP look longer than it really is.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
I agree with all of the above. I will add people taking credit for / not giving me credit when they use my ideas and people leaving things open / out / broken and not fixing or reporting the issue.
@BertieMeetsGertie DH does that ALL.THE.TIME! He also wears striped shirts with plaid shorts. Just no! It isn't often that he screws up - usually it's golfing... but still. One solid, one pattern, and match your shoes and belt. Getting dressed as a guy is easy! @lulu1180 Love the tea gif! @zwink1 I don't mind if DH uses my towel since we have 3 in the bathroom and I will always have two since I have long hair... but I hate how my sister uses our towels instead of asking for a fresh one when she stays over. I get that we grew up in a family of 7 and you were lucky to find any towel at all to use, but we have plenty now and she doesn't need to use one that we've reused like 3 times that week. For some reason it isn't that gross if DH and I share, but to me, it's weird otherwise.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R: Turned an OPK this morning. They've issued a freeze warning for tonight. It was 78 here yesterday and now a freeze warning. Midwest weather is fun...

@JulesDP April is my second favorite character and so relatable @oxcherryblossomxo sorry to hear about your back. Take it easy today @wvrn1216 Welcome! GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1) When people say, "I could care less." What they mean to say is "I couldn't care less" and it drives me insane.
2) At work, I can't stand it when people initiate work conversations in the bathroom, like when we are washing our hands. I'm always slowly backing out the door, thinking "People are shitting in here can we go back to my office please?"
@CrystalPDX He is! And a huge misogynist to boot. Here's a picture of him:
@bumpybump +1 to your second pet peeve. "Sorry, I just saw your text." Considering that you recently posted to Instagram and checked in to a place on Facebook? No, no you didn't "just see it."

@mrs35 I am totally guilty of your first pet peeve...I'm going to chalk it up to regional dialect
@mylove071407 your R/R about the homeless man just brightened my day, that's so awesome.

WAYDTGKU: PNV, temping, charting with FF, BD
R/R: Not in the greatest mood today...woke up super late, didn't have time to put on any makeup, had to stand on the bus for my hour commute...I try not to complain about "first world problems" but Wednesday's already doing me dirty and it's hardly 9am.
CS/Q: Just out of curiousity, why do some calculate EDD based on O date? I thought it was calculated from CD1? I've been lurking on some BMBs and the grad thread and I see some mention their EDD based on O. Which is technically more accurate? ETA: I guess I answered my own question...O date would be more accurate since conception doesn't happen until after O..? Sorry for the brain fart..
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. It's almost impossible to ONLY list two...I am so easily irritated, not one of my finer qualities..
1. / When someone says something to insinuate that they want attention for it, but then act like they won't accept the attention, i.e. posting a PUBLIC Facebook status like "Ugh, wow here we go again, I hate this." then when someone asks what's wrong, they're like "I don't want to say." Then WHY did you post anything at all. 2. / Exaggerating. We are all guilty of it to some degree, but if a person is (very obviously) embellishing a story to the point of lying, I immediately lose interest.
R/R: I have something that I really need
to get done at work today and I keep procrastinating. I need magical work
fairies to come and just do it for me.
CS/Q: When you guys say HIO EOD during
FW, do you usually mean over a literal seven day period? This will be our first
month “planning” days so I’m trying to figure out what to shoot for. My estimated O day is around Oct. 22.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1. Like
@bumpybump said, not responding to texts or emails in a timely manner. I know
you check your phone every 2 seconds, just send me a response!
2. People
who parrot what they see on social media as “fact” without doing their own
research.
@beachbunnyxo123 Have fun on your trip! I would suggest
bringing lots of light cotton clothes (easier to pack in a carry-on and won’t
wrinkle too badly).
@mylove071407 Seems like that is a killer day on the job for
you! So exciting to see that kind of progress.
@BertieMeetsGertie Your brown/black pet peeve made me laugh
because my DH is genuinely confused by that fashion rule. I think he would wear
navy, black, and brown all at the same time if I didn’t stop him.
@NYTino24 I have a question about the EOD too, so I’ll be
curious to see your responses!
I just remembered, I wanted to post this. For anyone considering using preseed, I found a coupon online if you want to pick it up at a retail location (I know Target carries it and I think Walgreens and/or CVS might also carry it). I figured an extra $2 would be worth giving it a shot. Here's the link!
@mrs35 One can be plural. For example, look at all these ones: 111111111111111111
@lulu1180 Oh the book thing annoys me, too. I was reading a book about introverts once and that was mentioned. The author said usually extroverts assume people would only be reading a book because they don't have someone to talk to (since that's how most of them are), so they interrupt because they think it's what we want. So next time it happens, you should just politely tell the person you can talk later.
@kat0607 EDD is usually based on LMP because most women don't chart and therefore don't know their O date. But, yes, going off O date is more accurate, especially for women who O late.
Month/Cycle: 14/15

WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, CP, BD ED/EOD
R/R: I don't think I have anything today.
CS/Q: So I'm pretty sure I haven't O'd, but if I put in another high temp, FF gives me dotted CH and a sketchily low CL. What do you all think?
GTKY: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. 1) When I can hear other people's music in public, either because they have headphones and it is really loud or they are playing it over a speaker. I don't know why anyone thinks that is okay. 2) When people have bad sidewalk manners (e.g. walking slowly in the middle of the sidewalk, letting their dog pee all over the sidewalk, biking on the sidewalk - which is illegal here)
@lulu1180@JulesDP I haven't seen any changes with the green tea either! I wonder how long it took others before they saw a change? Let me know if you end up seeing one! Also, @lulu1180 I can't stand when people chew with open mouths. So gross. @osucma DH works nights so even on his days off he is up late. I bought a white noise machine about a year ago and it has saved so many arguments! Best investment ever for us. @kat0607 do you live in the Midwest? My grammar professor and I had this same discussion! We pretty much agreed that while it isn't grammatically correct it is a widely accepted regional dialect!

GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. 1) When other people don't schedule their lives properly and then expect me to accommodate - ex. when one of my co-workers tells me she needs help because instead of doing her actual work she looked up recipes all afternoon. 2) When people call our law firm and demand an appointment outside business hours because they work 9-5. R/R: I seriously need to go to bed earlier. I stay up for the "me time" and then I'm exhausted, ugh!
CS/Q: Not much to see yet.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. Ha, normally I could rattle off 20, but I"ll struggle to think of 2 this morning. Hmm... here are 2 shopping related ones: People who leave their carts in the parking lot and don't return them to the corral or the store. So annoying. Also people who stop and talk to each other mid-aisle, totally blocking the aisle for others, and make no attempt to move or make room when people try to get through. UGH!
@britters314 It's because you have a .2 rise with ECCM. It's not a big jump, but it needs the third criteria of OPK result to confirm. Otherwise, it's guessing based on what you told it. FWIW, a lot of us have been having low, slow rises and lower CL this month and I think a lot of it is colder weather / lower body temps and rooms. @Dilynne Oh no, she didn't! I would not be helping her!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 FF doesn't need OPK results to give an O date. I've always gotten solid CH before and I've never taken an OPK. Also, my room has actually been hotter lately since we don't have the air conditioning on, so that wouldn't cause a slow rise. The main reason I don't think I O'd, though, is that I didn't get EWCM until after FF is saying I O'd. I'll probably just have to wait and see what my temp does tomorrow, but it's kind of weird.
@britters314 OMG I commuted on public transportation for
over a year and people who don’t use headphones for their music are the actual
worst. That and whenever there was a sporting event and a bunch of drunken fans
would crowd my (usually) quiet train.
@alysapuggles I struggle with the “me time” v sleep question
too. Not enough hours in the day.

R/R: The frustration is strong here today. I have no rants, I have no raves, just general annoyance. Here's my rave, it's my Thurs so thank goodness for that.
CS/Q: No.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves
1) H using my towel... Drives me absolutely nuts. Get. Your. Own. I dry my clean self off with that.
CD: 31
WAYDTGKU: sex
R/R: As I said in my intro post I am a case manager. Today, a client I have been working with since June moves into a new apartment. He has been homeless for 2 years...like on the street homeless. I am so excited for him that I cant even put it in to words.

@Nelbetron I love taking random days off in the middle of the week, it makes it seem so much shorter!
@beachbunnyxo123 So jealous of your vacay!
@mrs35 I drink it during my entire follicular phase but I O early (usually CD10) and this is only my second cycle that I will be using it so I will let you know if I see a difference
@SaphireSweetie88 congrats on losing weight!
Month/Cycle: 5/6 (ugh, rolled over both today

CS/Q: Does anyone know if having a short/light AF makes a difference in getting KU? I've tried googling it before but I mostly just get questions posted on other forums.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1. People that chew with their mouth open/talk with their mouth full. I can't stand either!!
2. People that interrupt me when I am clearly trying to read and am very into the book in my hands - DH does this all the time and I just stare at him with complete annoyance every time he does it.

R/R: rant: my roommate has been annoying the piss out of me. He likes to make comments about everything, like he knows everything. I will miss him when we move but right now he is a big reason I want to move.
CS/Q: Chart stalk welcome. I see a dip on CD 12 then steady rise since then but no cross-hairs. Was this a fluke dip? Or do you ladies think I O'd? I've been temping orally.

#1 people snapping gum. I. Just. Can't. I had a coworker in the office next to mine and she would snap her GD gum all day!

CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: CM/CP, Temping, Green Tea, Cutting back on caffeine (
R/R: My super annoying cubical neighbor called out sick today!! I feel as if I've been given a bonus vacation day
CS/Q: Overslept and temped late this morning. Ugh. I know it's not the end of the world, but I hate seeing open circles -- especially when O should be within the next 4-6 days.
GTKU: Kind of hard to narrow it down to two because I'm basically a living, breathing April Ludgate.
- I hate being interrupted. My boss does it all of the time and I have to bite my tongue so that I don't say anything.
- Repeating myself multiple times when I know it's because the person isn't listening, not because they can't hear me. (Husband, I'm looking at you)
@mrs35 I've been drinking at least one cup of green tea per day for the last month. I haven't noticed any drastic differences in CM yet.
@SaphireSweetie88 congrats on being down 2lbs!

CS/Q: none today
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
This is a hard one. People who out the toilet paper roll on backwards and when your talking to someone about your pain/symptoms and they turn the conversation around to be all about them and that they must have that too because they feel the same.
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: pnv, cm/cp after af, eod
R/R: AF showed this morning, so I'm excited to get this started. This will be my 1st trying cycle after Mirena removal. *TW* I haven't had a cycle in 3 years due to pregnancy, BF, and IUD, so trying to get everything figured back out and hoping that body cooperates.
CS/Q: None right now
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves. 1. As a nurse Dr Google makes me crazy.
@beachbunnyxo123 have fun in Vegas!!!
CD: 1 (yesterday was day 2 of spotting)
@lulu1180 Love the tea gif!

Driving "violations" of not using cruise control on interstates/highways and not using turn signals.

@oxcherryblossomxo sorry to hear about your back. Take it easy today
@wvrn1216 Welcome! I had my mirena removed recently also, but kind of a crazy ride. Hope it is easier on you. Also Dr Google is my worst enemy. I am a CMA and it drives me crazy when people come in and say "well I looked online and this is definitely _______"

Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, OPK
R/R: I have something that I really need to get done at work today and I keep procrastinating. I need magical work fairies to come and just do it for me.
CS/Q: When you guys say HIO EOD during FW, do you usually mean over a literal seven day period? This will be our first month “planning” days so I’m trying to figure out what to shoot for. My estimated O day is around Oct. 22.
GTKU: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1. Like @bumpybump said, not responding to texts or emails in a timely manner. I know you check your phone every 2 seconds, just send me a response!
2. People who parrot what they see on social media as “fact” without doing their own research.
@beachbunnyxo123 Have fun on your trip! I would suggest bringing lots of light cotton clothes (easier to pack in a carry-on and won’t wrinkle too badly).
@SaphireSweetie88 Congrats on the weight loss!
@mylove071407 Seems like that is a killer day on the job for you! So exciting to see that kind of progress.
@BertieMeetsGertie Your brown/black pet peeve made me laugh because my DH is genuinely confused by that fashion rule. I think he would wear navy, black, and brown all at the same time if I didn’t stop him.
@NYTino24 I have a question about the EOD too, so I’ll be curious to see your responses!

CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, CP, BD ED/EOD
R/R: I don't think I have anything today.
CS/Q: So I'm pretty sure I haven't O'd, but if I put in another high temp, FF gives me dotted CH and a sketchily low CL. What do you all think?
GTKY: List 2 of your biggest pet peeves.
1) When I can hear other people's music in public, either because they have headphones and it is really loud or they are playing it over a speaker. I don't know why anyone thinks that is okay.
2) When people have bad sidewalk manners (e.g. walking slowly in the middle of the sidewalk, letting their dog pee all over the sidewalk, biking on the sidewalk - which is illegal here)
@osucma DH works nights so even on his days off he is up late.
@abjm0325 I, personally, HIO EOD after AF is gone. If that doesn't seem doable (hah) I do try to make sure to HIO during projected FW.

Hmm... here are 2 shopping related ones: People who leave their carts in the parking lot and don't return them to the corral or the store. So annoying. Cruise Control, it was invented, and is now standard on vehicles, for. a. reason.
When someone uses the last of the water in the water cooler and doesn’t change the bottle. (work problems)
@beachbunnyxo123 Rolling my clothes always allows for more than I’m planning on needing. I also use packing bags, they help keep everything organized.
@kiwi2628 I didn’t even know moving Halloween was a thing! I agree with you too!!

1. I can’t stand having to repeat myself.
2. When other people can’t make, commit to or keep plans. I’ve had to step back a little from a certain group of friends because trying to decide on a place for dinner with them felt like this:
@osucma Thanks. I haven't had any issues yet, but it's only been a month.
@bumpybump several people I work with do that all the time and it drives me crazy. I don't think they know that I can see what time they opened my email.
