GTKU: What is the most embarrassing thing your parents ever did to you? When I was a kid I was bringing my clothes down the stairs to wash them and I must've dropped a pair of underwear on the floor so my dad took it and hung it on the mailbox because he thought i was being messy and just threw it there. All my friends saw. I was traumatized lol
Thank you all for the good wishes in regards to house hunting. No one said it would be easy but honestly I didn't expect it to be this frustrating.
@mrs35 I also agree that I hate Tuesdays more than Mondays. @NYTino24@swimsister I truly just don't think men get it at all. I swear they think it is 100 times easier to get KU than it really is. The "keep it sexy" comment sounds just like my DH. @kiwi2628 glad to hear your house was a little warmer today! I am thinking after how cold I was this morning we might turn our heat on. @julesDP I would have been horrified to walk in on either of my parents having sex (they have never been together) let alone deal with "the talk" right then and there. @saralee797 sometimes a break is exactly what you need. Good for you to take it if you need it. @leilac in regards to CP: when mine is high I can literally barely feel it. Like I have to really push up. My dad didn't do this on purpose but when he got home he would go downstairs and take his clothes off to his underwear and then walk back upstairs to the shower and sometimes I'd have friends over.

I was super young when I started (I was 9) so my mom freaked out and took me to every doctor imaginable. Then she called every female in my family to discuss why I could have started at such a young age. I was completely mortified.
@dinosaur I got digital opks this month (not advanced... just smiley) because I didn't get that true positive either... or maybe I didn't test enough. A few days later after it gets darkest it does get lighter though? Hopefully it's more straightforward for the both of us!
@leilac I've been having a lot of trouble finding my CP too! The two TTGP posts on TB that I found super helpful were "the cervix feels like a penis!" and "ttgp guide: cervical position (cp) *tmi*" - have you read them? That said, I'm still not sure I'm finding it I'm hoping that by checking every day in the same position, I can start to notice changes that will help me feel more confident with "ah! that's my cervix!" (e.g. today I thought what I was feeling felt slightly higher and softer so think I might be on the right track). FYI, the "knuckle rule" means you should hit it on the first knuckle at the begging/end of your cycle, but it might be out of reach at ovulation when it's at its highest point. So, if you're just on CD 5, I don't think it would be out of reach yet. Hope this helps and good luck!

I love my mother dearly, I really do. And now, I appreciate her personality and jovial attitude. But she is the epitome of an embarrassing parent, especially for a teenager. Her carefree spirit, aloofness and blonde hair do not help much either. Worst thing? Oh my, so many embarrassing moments.
Top of the list is when we were at a restaurant when I was 15 and she went to the restroom. When she came back, she walked all the way across the dining room with the back of her dress tucked into tights. She showed her fanny off to so many people. I was mortified. But, she just untucked it and proceeded like normal. Also, at my middle school National Junior Honor Society ceremony, my mother (in typical fashion) became impatient with having to clap for every kid who was called up. So she started to clap (loudly and slowly) too early for one student when the auditorium was quiet...dead silent. Everyone's eyes turned to her. I shrank in my seat and pretended to not to know her. Lucky me, we don't look much alike...haha.
R/R: Haven't been able to post in a bit because our community was really hit hard by the hurricane that came through the states. We just got power back today. I'm really thankful we made it through okay. The night it hit here me and DH had to maneuver through the flooding roads which was scary. We had no idea it was going to be that bad.
