@adirat thank you for the chart stalk and internet hugs! FF keeps my crosshairs only on the "Research" setting, and takes them away with advanced (recommended) or FAM, so I don't know what to think. I really hoped for "smoking gun" temperatures! If they continue to climb I will feel more confident, but part of me feels like I am just trying to see what I want to see.
As for the low progesterone, I'm not sure if its been a problem in the past. I had a more obvious shift last time, but I don't have the full scope of where my temps were later in the follicular phase because I missed out on several temps on vacation. In general, my FP temps were much lower last time around and my LP temps were more in the range they are now. I can't explain why my BBT suddenly jumped after CD 14 and stayed up, it doesn't seem to be O based on other signs (and I should have had my period by now if that was the case).

CS/Q: In line with my rant, I'd love a stalk. You can see that I usually get this drop before o, and the past two months, I've had a temp right near today's at o-4. I think there are nice ways to tell newbies not to citrate new threads than blowing them up with mean gifs. I was happy for that woman who posted she was pregnant and felt a lot of hate from others.
@adirat thank you for bringing that to my attention. @BusinessWife im sorry. I owe you and a couple of others an apology. I may have been out of line. I'm a newbie and don't know everyone's situation. I was only trying to be happy for the original poster. My bad.
@BrambleRose I'm fairly new to charting, but for what it's worth I'd agree with you that it looks like you're o-4 today. Have you been charting cm/cp to help confirm? Or OPTs?

Thanks @Pepper16. I track with cm and opk's as well but unfortunately I usually only get EWCM the day before and day of ovulation and a positive opk the day before or of ovulation, so neither is much help right now. I did take an opk today that I thought was darker than CD9 usually would be after I logged my temperature and saw the pattern, but I've also never tested this early before so that's really just a guess. Le sigh. Thank you so much for taking a look and giving feedback.

@adirat Thank you for calling a spade a spade. @LoggiesMamma #1. That's not how the thread went. OP (smills@14) created a post early in September. A number of people were nice and gave her good advice. OP came back to thank people. Nearly a month later, Cyster who is no longer prego and had apparently eaten a stack of smug sandwiches zombied the thread to brag about getting KU and having her baby. It was not appropriate and she got very appropriately flamed for it. Then, you popped in to WK and got a TOU violation because of name calling. Sounding familiar? You do not make friends by going into an established community (where you don't seem to understand the cultural norms) and calling people out when you admittedly do not know them or their stories. Since you clearly know how to tag, I welcome you to extend a sincere apology to those you called out. Lurk moar.

@Kiki75 My thoughts exactly. As a "newbie" myself, I don't buy the newbie excuse, especially when the newbie guide flat out states rules of conduct. No pg announcements, especially without a tw. It could not be more clear. @LoggiesMamma - I also don't buy your apology; stating "I may have been out of line" is not very convincing. You were out of line, hence the TOU violation. Read the newbie guide and lurk more. When you participate in this group following the guidelines, it is incredibly supportive. Best of luck to you on your journey.
@Polarbear517 I don't know what the difference is between the different modes on FF, but I definitely think you ovulated CD21. I don't know what explains your temping patterns early in the cycle, though. I'd recommend just keeping an eye on it and if you keep having temps around coverline for a few more cycles, ask a doctor to test your progesterone 7dpo. Based on your August chart, I don't think you have an issue (or at least it wasn't evident there). So wait and see. Which is sucky advice, I know, but it is what it is. FX.
@BrambleRose This may not be the news you want, but yes, I'd probably start HIO today based on the patterns from your previous charts. It may be a false temp drop but better safe than sorry. Too bad CM and OPKs won't give you a ton of warning...

@LoggiesMamma Yes to everything @Kiki75 said. These "rules" are here to protect the safe environment that has been established here. When I was a newb, I thought some of the things were harsh, but after spending the past 7+ months here I understand why they're here. And honestly, it really didn't take me THAT long to get it. Seeing triggers for me in the real world sucks. But I don't expect people to tip toe around me just because I'm sensitive to certain things at this point in my life. That is what this site is for. This is my safe place. This is where I go knowing that people are sensitive to people's triggers. So, when some people don't follow the rules, we let them know. Because even though you may not see it as a trigger, it can be one for myself and many others, even on the best of TTC days. And those ladies you've called out have been there for me when I've faced another failed cycle and they've called me out when I'm being ridiculous. They are some of the most supportive women I've ever met and you owe them all a sincere apology. ESPECIALLY @BusinessWife. I will always have her back because she has had mine (and many others') more than you'll ever begin to comprehend.

@JulesDP thanks for the well wishes! It's feeling better than when I woke up, so hopefully it's short lived. Also, I never told my grandmother about any of my tattoos...they're not readily visible, and given what she said to my mom when she came home with a tattoo, we agreed that maybe it was best if we just didn't tell her haha.
@thj101 oh I hear you with crappy trainees. I've given up on mine and decided that I'll just red line his drafts to death until he either gets it or wants to sit still long enough to learn. I cannot be his babysitter.
@SeriouslySirius I legitimately laughed out loud at your R/R today, that is pretty hilarious!!
@SaphireSweetie88 a 2-3 hour hold would just mean that you don't pee for atleast that amount of time. Also just be mindful not to drink too much as that can also dilute your sample for your OPK.
@leilac I wouldn't waste an HPT if I were you. If your spotting is implantation bleeding, you wouldn't get a positive yet anyway. And it really doesn't sound like IB - it sounds like the start of your period. Just trying to bring you back to reality.

R/R: it's the weekend! I have a lot of paperwork to finish up but it shouldn't be too bad. Plus then Monday is our first anniversary, so I'm excited for that!
CS/Q: I had a pretty high temp today. I woke up this morning before 5 but I didn't really put it together (that i'm up and I should just take my temp) until my alarm rang. Plus I was sweating under the covers. I'm hoping that's the only reason and that I didn't secretly O early because then we have no chance. My opks are still negative though and there's no ewcm so i don't think it happened just yet
GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done? I drank in college... I only got drunk once, the rest was totally controlled, but my parents rarely touch alcohol and would be more than scandalized if I told them lol. This is a great community and if you are here in good faith, you will have a positive experience. It has happened before that people have made mistakes and hurt others' feelings, but when they own it and give a true apology, we move on. When they don't bother, then why should we?

No, I want my sleep, not cuddling. Grr! And he normally sleeps in an hour or more after I’m up with DD which made it that much worse. GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done? I’m also from a conservative family like other have said, so lots…drinking in high school, skinny dipping, excessive drinking in college (at times), sex life, and basically living together before being married (we both had houses), TTC, and probably more.
@PolarBear517 Ugh, that sucks that FF took away your CHs. And wow on the secret you’ve kept from your parents (and probably others) That had/has to be hard.
@swimsister I start using OPKs around CD10. I did the same when we were TTC with DD too. I’m always afraid my body could O earlier than normal and I don’t want to miss it.
@magnolia131 so glad to hear you are safe and that it mostly missed you!
@bumpybump that sounds like such a fun play date! I am also pro sleeping over cuddling! I know my MIL and I are weirdly close. She's really more like a friend. She's my favorite drinking buddy and after this crazy cycle I just had I texted her to tell her I finally got my period. I'm sure that isn't normal
@SaphireSweetie88 As others said, it means don't pee for four hours. I've found I have to stop drinking water at the start of the four hours because I drink so much water. It sucks, but I do what I gotta do for the OPK. I hear a lot of women say that doing these small things will be really hard, but you have to suck it up for this process. Which would you rather, be thirsty for an afternoon, or miss your FW?

@BrambleRose This may not be the news you want, but yes, I'd probably start HIO today based on the patterns from your previous charts. It may be a false temp drop but better safe than sorry. Too bad CM and OPKs won't give you a ton of warning...
Hello again ladies!
I was formally EL824 but went away for a few weeks due to me being crazy my first month and still wrapping my head around everything. I deleted my account and everything but here I am back after being a super lurker!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
Question: how far in advance do you get pain in your pelvic area? I had a dash of pain this afternoon, was quick and fleeting. More annoying that painful.
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT , CM/CP, BDing EOD (trying to get my husband to stop self-pleasuring the days in between)
R/R: Nada today
CS/Q: Not much to look at really, but if you want to go ahead and look below
GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done? Oh there are numerous things. I was never very open with either of my parents about anything.
Some shining examples are: me drinking and smoking when I was 17. That when I was a young thing I didn't just go to music festivals I partook in some activities that would be REALLY frowned upon. But those are the two worst things I did in my life, so in my mind I am doing pretty well
I am being lazy and since I am so late to the game I don't want to tag today. Just know I read every single post and enjoyed today's GTKY
*edit I forgot a question
Month/Cycle: 10
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CF, working w/ RE, and OPK from CD 10, going in for my HSG test next week!
R/R: I hate my AF, very irregular since coming of BP. Found out i have a thyroid issue, and that had to get in balance first, just got my first natural AF this month, previous couple of AF were induced from provera...
CS/Q: Last month I O'd on CD 25, because my thyroid is now balanced and I had my first natural AF, does CD 10 make sense to start with OPK?
GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done? Hmmm...not sure there's much left that would shock them...
@GeorgiaWife6912 - Yay FX for you after your tww
@zwink1 @beachbunnyxo123 @JulesDP @eggplantface @LoggiesMamma Thanks ladies. My doctor said to use the Clear Blue digital OPKs. When you say hold, do you mean 2-3 hours of nothing to drink (that may be hard for me) ?? Sorry if that's a dumb question but I don't want any OPKs to go to waste because of me doing something I shouldn't.
@leilac - Your conversation with your mom was funny.

Also, I never told my grandmother about any of my tattoos...they're not readily visible, and given what she said to my mom when she came home with a tattoo, we agreed that maybe it was best if we just didn't tell her haha.
@SaphireSweetie88 I think @eggplantface was right on in her post then. I believe CBs actually require FMU.
@jacksonbears Welcome!!
Edit: I really need to learn to proofread before posting...
Month/Cycle: 14/15
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: temping, CM, CP, BD when we can, Mucinex
R/R: I've been MIA the last two days because my Internet at my house hasn't been working. A Comcast guy is supposed to come fix it today so hopefully that happens.
CS/Q: I took Mucinex yesterday and it seemed like, if anything, it made my CM less fertile. I drink 3 liters of water a day so idk why it's not working
GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done?
I'm a goody two shoes. Never been drunk or snuck out or anything. H and I were both virgins when we got married. So idk if there is anything for me to hide from them..
@SaphireSweetie88 you drink normally (try not to drink more but you don't have to drink less) but just don't pee for at least 4 hours. Good luck!
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD:13
WAYDTGKU: all the things. Couldn't find my preseed though, which is annoying since that stuff is expensive. We may just do without this month
They don't even like me to drink now, so I just don't tell them hahaha

We stand up for our friends. We support them. Hence the skepticism here.
This is a great community and if you are here in good faith, you will have a positive experience. It has happened before that people have made mistakes and hurt others' feelings, but when they own it and give a true apology, we move on. When they don't bother, then why should we?

Sweet baby boy arrived 7/7/17!
I am super late today...
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, Temping, CM, charting, HIO EOD in FW
R/R: Rant: Our dog woke me up around 5am barking at something outside. I put in earplugs and fell back asleep. For once, DD slept in. So instead of letting me sleep in, DH woke me up to cuddle. No, I want my sleep, not cuddling. Grr! And he normally sleeps in an hour or more after I’m up with DD which made it that much worse. Rave: DD and I got to hold baby chicks that were born yesterday during her playdate today. So cute!
CS/Q: None
GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done? I’m also from a conservative family like other have said, so lots…drinking in high school, skinny dipping, excessive drinking in college (at times), sex life, and basically living together before being married (we both had houses), TTC, and probably more.
@GlitterFish yay for good SA results
@GeorgiaWife6912 yay for those CHs!
@shstephenson @mrs35 I cannot imagine telling my MIL about me. I think she’d be super judgy. But I’m not a huge fan of her either.
@eggplantface @TheMrs @leilac @jacksonbears sorry for CD1
@osucma welcome back!

I know my MIL and I are weirdly close. She's really more like a friend. She's my favorite drinking buddy and after this crazy cycle I just had I texted her to tell her I finally got my period. I'm sure that isn't normal

Thanks! I can easily go 2 -3 (or 4 ) hours without peeing. Having to do it without drinking water or something would be a bit harder. I don't drink too much though so I should be fine if I limit myself to 1 bottle of water instead of 2

WAYDTGKU: all the things. I bought gummy vitamins today because my other ones made me super nauseous. They're not special prenatal ones though. I don't even know if they have enough of the good stuff in them...but they're yummy
R/R: nothing really
CS/Q: when do people usually do OPKs? Best time? I know some people do them twice a day or more but I don't wanna waste all the ones I have
GTKY: Is there one thing you still won't tell your parents you have done?
i don't think so...my mom knows I used to smoke pot sometimes as a teen....other than that I was pretty tame. I never did anything crazy lol
