@Elyse1384 I hit 6 weeks yesterday and it was definitely the first day when the nausea was obvious...
hoping yours this time around is easier!
Oh it is the worst. Sorry you got hit with it. I recommend anything ginger and (strange as this may sound) lemonade! Lemonade really helped with the nausea with both pregnancies and I lost track of how much I drank per week! I was flying through cartons.
My first 7 weeks-17 weeks. My second week 5-labor, absolutely terrible. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy! Third--first sign of pregnancy (week 3.5), really hoping it doesn't last! Can I just say, if all my Facebook friends could stop posting pictures and videos of food, that would be much appreciated!
Nausea hit me like a ton of bricks last night. Today I'm 5w6d. I woke up this morning with it too. My phobia of vomiting made me panic last night, but I managed not to throw up. Last night I sucked on a preggie pop which helped me fall asleep and this morning I'm drinking some ginger tea. This nausea feels like a mixture of motion sickness and a hangover. And I can feel a headache brewing too.
@Elyse1384 Thank you for mentioning lemonade! I am totally going to try that.

@Elyse1384 I'm with @wifeinraleigh28 and appreciate the lemonade advice. I'll be adding that to the grocery list.
At 5w3d, I had my first wave of nausea hit hard this morning. It was enough to get me out of bed and just have the need to walk around. Bring it, 1st trimester.
I was fine sitting in the passenger seat while my husband was driving about 2 weeks ago (when I was 4 /5 weeks about...when the sudden urge to puke came ...I had no self control...all over myself my bag the floor...finally i tried to open the window and my husband , God love him, advised me to just continue puking on the floor since it would have to be cleaned anyway! He cleaned the whole thing for me. lol nausea lasted about 20 min then stopped. i have not puked since , but randomly through out the day I feel uneasy but it goes away. I'm about 6 weeks and 4 days. I'm hoping the puking never returns!!
Just after turning 6 weeks early this week it hit. I don't remember it being this early or severe with my first. I think I only dealt with it for 2-3 weeks with DS and it wasn't nearly as bad. This is miserable! I can't imagine this for an entire pregnancy!
I think it started around 8 weeks last time with my son and went away around 15-16 weeks. If I was contantly eating something I did ok. Mostly I lived off of sugary cereals. A coworker who didn't know I was pregnant at the time told me to stop hitting my food stash and work harder!
@xomarisaxo we are car puking buddies. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
@llo3 lol!! Glad to see I'm not alone. My car is now stocked with napkins, baby' wipes, plastic baggies, and an extra change of clothes just incase ! But mind over matter I refuse to puke again hahaha
1st - exactly at 6 weeks istarted feeling nauseous. The nausea stopped at around 12-13 weeks. Never threw up until 3rd trimester though and that was usually first thing in the morning while brushing my teeth so it was just stomach acid which I feel was even worse.
Im 6 weeks today with my 2nd and so far so good. Really hope maybe I can avoid it. Doesn't hurt to hope. Lol.
I'm four and a half weeks and it comes in waves, usually in the morning or later in the night. This morning the smell of my cat's soft food triggered it and I feed her every morning. I nearly puked but managed not to....
With DS it started right around 6 weeks and lasted until about 10.5. I believe that it started around 6 weeks again this time (I didn't know that I was pregnant until several days later so wasn't paying much attention). Hoping it's short-lived again this time!
With my first I had nausea from about 8-14 weeks. It was no big deal with minimal triggers. With my second, I was nauseous from 8-24 weeks. I lost 20-25 lbs and couldn't hold down food. I literally only ate BLT's for a month and puréed soup. And generally that didn't stay down either.
With DD it started around 6 weeks and went away by around 12-13 weeks.
This time I knew I was pregnant because of the nausea and I had thrown up because of a smell at a restaurant. That was at 3w3d. I lost 6 pounds in the first 2.5 weeks and got on anti-nausea meds on Friday (6w2d). It's still not 100%

I'm 5w5d and starting having some nausea this morning. I'm eating small bland meals and trying to drink a lot of water, and trying very hard to not vomit at work!
I'm 4w3d and have pretty mild nausea. It seems like if I keep food in my stomach I feel fine. But if I go awhile without eating then I feel a little nauseous but then I eat something and it goes away!
With DD I rarely had nausea except for the entire first trimester I was more susceptible to motion sickness, but not all day everyday morning sickness. With this one, I have had nausea consistently from 7:00am - 3/4:00pm everyday since 6w0d. It suuuuucks!! Though, eating helps - but I can't eat TOO much because that makes it worse.
I am 7w5d and the nausea and vomiting started at 6w0d. It is getting worse. Yesterday I threw up twice and today I've thrown up three times. I bought some ensure and chicken noodle soup today.
I am 6w3d and I have nasuea a lot I notice it most when I am moving around. No vomiting but I been having a lot more BMs sorry for the tmi. It is bad when I am sleeping so if I get up to pee I try to fall back asleep asap. I also have no appetite and have to remind myself to eat. I also get motion sickness really easy as someone else mentioned. I have also been a lot gasser idk about any one else but I have burped more this week then I feel like in my whole life!
And so it begins... hardcore nausea all week (I'm 6w). Like freakin clockwork morning sickness rears her ugly head. I just keep telling myself it didn't kill me before and it is for a good cause. Now time to single handedly quadruple sales of lemonade at my locale grocery store.
DD1 was in the evening and last pretty much my entire pregnancy. It wasn't awful, I never got sick, just more of an aversion. I had to regularly skip dinner.
I don't remember specifics with DD2. Must have been random waves.
This time I did spend the first two weeks feeling pretty nauseous, particularly after working out, but that seems to have subsided.
13dpo.....that's when I took 3 different brands and they all gave me the same result. Couldn't eat for almost 4 days.....then I discovered plain rice and ground beef aren't just good for doggies with sensitive tummies now I wake up and have a midnight oatmeal snack and by time I actually get up I'm ready to inhale anything (except sweets.....they're my kyrptonite. makes me queasy just looking at anything sweet). Bad days, rice and ground beef are still my saviour!
6w6d today and I'm still only having some mild/moderate waves of nausea here and there. No vomiting. I can't help but be a little worried that maybe this isn't normal. PGAL brain is the worst.

I have constant low grade nausea now. I'm also constantly feeling motion sick even when I'm just sitting still. The worst symptom ever though has been exhaustion. I can hardly function I'm so tired all the time!

And pretty much on the dot with this one, at 7 weeks. Holy crap, I forgot how awful this feels.
@NamelessAria with DS I only threw up once. I was the poster child for easy pregnancy. I'm almost 7w and aside from some aversions I have been feeling fine. I think everyone's body handles it differently.
@NamelessAria if I hadn't been actively ttc I would not have known I was pregnant with #1 until I grew a bump. If it wasn't for exhaustion and actively ttc again, I wouldn't know this time either. I can't imagine what pgal brain does to a person but it's totally possible to have pretty symptom free first trimester.
I'm with you @NamelessAria. Thanks to all of those with the symptom free success stories. 6+4, slight nausea, no puking. Also PGAL and constantly worried. I love the reassurance.
It started a few days ago. Not aweful but if I wait too long to eat or eat too much I suddenly feel a lump in my throat. Really hoping it doesn't get worse. Oh and DD's diapers are suddenly making me gag!
@Praying41 Yes! The diapers are the worst! I sometimes think that the Mr must wonder if I'm just trying to get out of diaper duty, but it's baaaaad. This kid needs to get toilet trained, like ASAP HA!
With my first dd morning sorry scratch that all day sickness started around 6/7weeks all day till bed I would get sick sometimes even waking up at night nothing was kept down I had to take diclectin to help me. I was admitted to the hospital as well for dehydration it got so bad. That lasted my whole first trimester stopping around the beginning of second trimester.
This time so far just nausea and smells making me want to vomit I am crossing my fingers praying it doesn't get too bad as my husbands job takes him away from home for days at a time and we have no family here I'm not sure how I would take care of a toddler and a puppy and a dog with morning sickness as bad as it was!
