@lboalboh What is your budget? My favorite flats are my Tory Burch ballet slippers but they are crazy pricy. I also have a pair of Born flats that I got at DSW that are super comfy.
@mrlight OMG - that is such a good idea to delay the clomid one day. I suppose I should probably ask my RE but that might be the solution. Thank you!
@KhRun17 Thank you. I am going from Eastern to Pacific (Vegas for a work conference) so I was planning to just set my alarm for the same time I wake up now. I'll just be 3 hours behind.

R/R: It's almost the Thanksgiving long weekend - woo! My office shuts early on Friday, Cranberry Festival on Saturday, pigging out on Sunday, chilling on Monday.
CS/Q: -
GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity? Stargazing with my husband. There's a lake about half an hour away from our house, with no street lights nearby, and it's perfect.
@berg Upgrade! When we switched to a king it improved sleep quality dramatically. Just a regular old king though--not a cal king (I think they aren't as wide and we're not that tall so depends on your and H's height).
@mrsdaddario I haven't been at this as long as you, but I'm going to try going your road re: testing. I'd take 1 AF over the 3-4 BFNs (+AF) of last cycle anyway. The near daily disappointment really messed with my mood last cycle.
@hupp0013 I miss lightening bugs! I used to live back east but west coast now (hence my perpetually late posts) and we don't get them at all here.
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD/DPO: 16/1
Timing: EOD
Testing: Hell no
R/R: I’m excited to be back
here in the TWW after what was a relatively early O for me. But not thrilled
about the impending BSC SS sure to come in about a week to 10 days. I believe
in the power of jinx and so I’m going to keep telling myself this isn’t our
cycle even though our timing was decent and we started using pre-seed etc. No
‘positive thinking’ for me. Instead I’m going to plan appointments
around my expected AF cramps and assume the worst. Better to be surprised than
disappointed.
CS/Q: No thanks
GTKY: I live in wildfire country so anything outside involving fire is baaaaad. I do like looking at stars with a glass of wine though. We have decent light quality here considering proximity to the city. But I used to live in Arizona and the stargazing there was amazing.
@BertieMeetsGertie@laurad75@eggplantface Thanks for the recommendations. I just wore out a pair of these: I loved how they looked at Macy's, but I hated the almost instant scuffing and peeling on the front and heel. I have a feeling that the design on these flats just wasn't great. @BertieMeetsGertie, which MK flats do you have? As for budget, I want to stay under $150. I have navy and brown pairs of Tory Burch flats (on sale at Nordstrom Rack or the Tory Burch store in Manhattan). I love my TB flats, I just don't want to pay full price right now and can never seem to find black ones for under $150. Which Born flats do you have, @laurad75? I've heard really good things about the Born Julianne flat.
@berg I don’t think I could ever have a bed big enough to
convince my dog that he has room to sleep somewhere other than right on top of
my legs lol. I hope you get some better sleep tonight!
@hupp0013 ghost in the graveyard is the best! I’m
remembering tons of evenings spent playing that on the trampoline… I guess it
never occurred to me until now that the wide open yard would be a much better
layout
@flinstone Sorry about the BFN. Per your question, I believe
most women would see a BFP by 14DPO, but occasionally false negatives still
happen at that time. Does your O date look pretty clear? I’d hold off 2 days
and test again. Well, really I’d tell myself I was going to hold off for 2 days
and then test again the next day haha
@leekat14 sorry about the temp drop, I feel out after mine
this morning as well. Fx we both see a spike tomorrow and they were just wonky
temps…
@Callalily25 I am
sorry for the confusing cycle, I am right there with you. I’m not sure of any
reason that an OPK would be positive other than an LH surge but maybe its possible
that you misread it? I have been trying to find reasons for LH surge after O
since my temps would implied a CD 14 O date despite negative OPKs before I got
my + wondfos and peak CBAD on CD 19. I haven’t found anything yet but will keep
you posted if I decide to fall back down that google rabbit hole!
@KHRun17 if my O date stays where FF has it, I’m planning on
the 15th as well!
@eggplantface sorry you’re waiting on AF. Per your R/R..is
it weird that I’ve always kind of wanted to be called for jury duty? I feel
like it might actually be an interesting experience
@lboalboh I hear ya about wanting to eat everyting in sight.
I’m a stress eater and grad school has put an extra 5 pounds on me over the
last year. I still made bacon and eggs for ‘brunch’ and I’m totally thinking
about giving in to my pizza cravings for dinner (DH is not a pizza fan, so that’s
kind of my favorite thing about him being out of town lol).
@mrlight Ha! I love your GIF! I haven’t yet seen that movie
but definitely want to! I’ve been late to work because of food like 4 or 5
times this year. I have no discipline and always assume 5 extra minutes must be
enough.
@rainbowturtles I don't think I ever responded to your tag/question yesterday, so I'm super late but my tracker is just a wearable BBT device that takes observations throughout the night. I end up with between 40 & 60 and it spits out the lowest one. It fell off early into the night because it only made 10 observations and wouldn't give me a BBT because that clearly isn't a reliable amount
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 26/5 *if I even ovulated
Timing: -2,-3
Testing: Not on my radar today
R/R: Well I wasn't able to get a temp for yesterday, then today I was really hoping to see higher temps, 97.9/98.0... what I got was 97.55, below my cover line. *I also realized that my FF is on the "research" setting and on any other setting it completely removes my crosshairs. I am thinking that my LH surge and corresponding signs were followed by a failure to actually release the egg. I am hoping for a temp spike above cover line and continued growth, but not feeling very optimistic. I'd like to say I'm handling it well, but I fell down the google rabbit hole with "secondary estrogen surge" and "corpus luteum dip" searches this morning. I feel like after only 60 days of charting, I haven't been in this game long enough to be frustrated with the signs my body is or isn't giving but telling myself that doesn't seem to be lessening my frustration.
CS/Q: If you happen to chart stalk and have some input, it is always welcome.
GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity?
Bonfires, for sure. Every time we camp we're out around the fire late, drinking casually, roasting marshmallows, laughing, and listening to my dad play guitar. That is my favorite part of summer.

I'm still ticked that he did it the first week and then just ignored the request. My sleeps are typically not great as it is and that's certainly not helping. I also was unable to fall asleep again before my 530 alarm to take my temp
On the rave side, I'm starting some (Canadian) Thanksgiving prep today so that should be sorta fun. Making the cranberry sauce today and some for my family's dinner because my nephew loves my cranberry sauce lol
CS/Q: nah
GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity? Outside, nighttime hmmm I don't do much outside at nighttime lol I guess I'd have to say a bonfire? Nighttime outdoor skating would be fun if there was a rink!
eta: if anyone wants my cranberry sauce recipe, let me know. I like it because you roast the berries in the oven instead of boiling on the stove so there's no splattery mess and it's sweetened with only maple syrup (and not a whole lot).
@mrsdaddario yes it is possible especially since I realized I had a faulty thermometer this cycle. I used primarily secondary signs to confirm. CD27 as I suspect for O is still extremely late for me to O. Latest was CD24. So if could be very very late O or no O at all since I cannot use my temps reliably this month.
AF start already I got some new OPKs and a thermometer waiting !!!! Haha

@polarbear517, @vflux33 I’m now on a mission to get a bigger bed for wherever we
end up after our lease is up bc obviously we're insane to continue living like this.
@PolarBear517 I think it would be interesting to get on an actual jury too, but given our TTC plans I was terrified of being picked for some multi-week murder trial! I was planning how to explain to the judge that I couldn't serve after this week because I need to go to my doctor for an ultrasound and BW to start Clomid. I would be all "Are you really going to stand in the way of a CHILD??"
As for your chart, it honestly looks like you haven't O'd yet. Today's temp could be a fallback rise, so see what tomorrow does.

Testing: Not til Tuesday if AF hasn't come
R/R: Oh, the BSC is strong with me today!!! I started spotting yesterday, which could be (from most to least preferred) IB (the timing does kind of add up), the ramp-up to AF (almost a week early, but that's not CRAZY for me), or literally nothing but my body trolling me (which is what happened last cycle). My boobs hurt like crazy, which could also mean ANY of the above. In conclusion, BLERGH.

GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity? Does outdoor drinking count?
TTC #1: 4/16 BFP #1: 5/16 MMC at 8 weeks: 6/16 BFP #2: 10/16 Sweet baby boy arrived 7/7/17!
@LuND - I have to put on a show for DH during FW too and leave any discussion of "I might O soon...lets go" out of it. Sensitive men. @PolarBear517 - Maybe we need to start a pee party! I had just moved back to WTO last time there was one. Fx! @wabash15 - haha. We will never understand the interest. Can't you just ignore them! I even try to wear my least flattering bra/clothing to try to get him to leave it alone sometimes. @rainbowturtles - they're STILL doing that road work by you? I remember when you first posted. How annoying! And why on earth is one person coming super early? UGH! @leilac - oh the BSC in all of us! I would be right there with you with the SS counting what DPO it is, could it be this, or maybe not... ugh! GL.
@berg lol I can't deny that I enjoy having the bed "to myself" when DH is OOT (and we have a queen lol). I use quotations because there's usually at least one dog on the bed. I've treated myself by not letting the two little dogs on the bed until after I take my temp this past week just because I've been having such bad sleeps lol DH wants another dog and I'm like...we need a bigger bed!
@Pinky917 it's still so early for me but I'm also doing the flip flopping!
@bumpybump omg my H is all about the fires, too lol!!! I don't like the outdoor ones a whole lot because I'm usually still cold (only my feet stay warm) and the smell afterwards, and the inside ones tend to end up getting TOO hot and I start feeling really tired and lightheaded lol poor H has been just itching to have a fire and I'm just so thankful we have a full propane tank
@CallaLily25 from what I remember of your chart, I think I'd ignore that opk. I don't think you're out and I know it's hard but I think it's going to be one of those wait and see situations Hang in there!
@PolarBear517 thx for replying; that sounds so frustrating about your tracker. And now that I think about it, you're probably right that a bigger bed wouldn't convince the dogs to give us space lol DH always jokes about putting two queen beds together, as if the dogs would stay on one of them lol I highly doubt it! I'm hoping you did ovulate!
@KhRun17 yep, it's driving me bonkers! I've been using a sleep cycle app and you should see my crappy sleeps lol I am sooooo excited for the long weekend! If they are coming back, it won't be until Tuesday, and I or DH WILL be talking to someone about this crazy start time I also had to run after one of my dogs in my pajamas this morning...I had just let them out for a pee and the guys who have been getting firewood for the reserve were leaving ugh.
I think I go here now! I benched myself 3 days before O due to a zika scare (still waiting on test results) and then realized I was tracking on Thailand time rather than US time and realized that we HIO 2 days before O. Hoping I am neg for zika and positive for baby! Obviously hoping I can have my cake and eat it too.....

@NYTino24 My temps have been flat for the past couple of days too (98.37, 98.38, 98.39)! I was suspicious of my thermometer, so I had DH use it, and I used it at various times throughout the day just to make sure lol.
@LuND Only at 6DPO with diluted urine lol and of course it was a BFN. That was only because I got the +OPK and was so utterly confused. It was a complete waste of a good (not cheapo) test, and I'm pretty mad at myself for giving into the temptation.
@eggplantface My CM has a weird pattern this month, and it's only my second month off of BC, so I'm still learning. I had sticky that progressed into watery for two days (one day before O and O day). Then I was pretty dry and/or sticky until 6DPO, where I had watery. This was also the day I had the +OPK. Next day...back to dry/sticky and it remains like that now. I didn't switch any temping methods (I temp orally) and tried my best to keep things the same. I've tested my BBT thermometer against my regular thermometer, and they always give the same temps. I did a home test for a UTI just in case that was making my temps rise...negative. I'm not sick to my knowledge lol. I sleep with a fan on every night and in very similar clothing. The only thing I can think of is there were a couple of days that I woke up before my alarm and was in and out of sleep, but I do this a lot pre-O as well. It doesn't seem to explain the days I had a perfect night's sleep and still had high temps though. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out why my temps might be artificially higher, but I can't think of anything aside from stress and some days of odd sleep. But then again, I'm always stressed lol.
@wabash15 I didn't record it in FF because when I do, it takes away my CH I guess I should just suck it up and accept that maybe there wasn't a clear O pattern...but the temperature shift really seems to indicate one. Had I not given into my ridiculous urge to POAS, I would be totally confident in my O day.
@wabash15 glad I could make you laugh this morning! I'm a sucker for making a fool of myself lol
Eta: sorry, the pics are huge, I'm struggling today lol also I should add that I work in accounting. We're a relatively relaxed office but these are even dressy enough for when corporate is here. they're so freaking comfortable!
I've been skimming (work is too freaking busy to bump... losers) so I missed the beginning of the flats conversation. But these are what I wear to work all.the.time. this is my second pair because last year i wore them everywhere including hiking part of the Appalachian trail lol

It's just strange since my LP is supposed to stay the same length even with a late O. If it drops much more, AF will have to start! Fine by me - let's get the show on the road to the next round.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity? Even though it means it's cold as balls, I really love watching the northern lights. It's so amazing and I think everyone should try it at least once!
@eggplantface and @PolarBear517 DH told me that he thought I
was probably the only person on earth upset about not having jury duty. (I was having surgery later that week, so was
excused.)
@haylsbayls Hoping your zika test comes back negative!
Well, I went down the rabbit hole. I couldn't help it.
I went searching charts like mine and found a pregnancy chart with a similar post-o temp pattern. I had pretty much convinced myself I wasn't KU and now this gives me a little glimmer of hope; which as we all know, can be dangerous! Here's the overlay, pinned at O.
@lulu1180 I like to think of hope as a good thing (tho I understand it can make a letdown harder) Buttttttt....ya, this is another reason it's probably a good idea I don't have VIP Looks good, tho! Fx for you

@sirius37 it is my dream to see the Northern Lights! One day I will plan a whole trip entirely around that. I gave myself false hopes during our late August trip *its early in the season, but maybe* also in Michigan every now and then they are supposed to be visible.... like every few years we can see them as far South as I am, but I've always missed it. I have been obsessed with the idea of seeing them since I was a kid and watched Balto, and I'm sure I will literally cry if/when I see them
Update:: Based on my interactions with Dr. Google today I'm now 80% sure that I haven't ovulated and feeling kinda pessimistic about my body gearing up to do so again since CM, CP, and OPKs don't seem to foreshadow anything in the near future. I am still waiting on tomorrow's temp, and kind of expect FF to take my crosshairs away. I can't drown my frustrations in alcohol for fear of false temp spike but I sure can drown them in pizza!!

I have that style but in cognac brown. They are super comfy so far but I did see a small scuff on the heal already. I guess it's to be expected. If it gets bad I'll take them to a cobbler and see if they have something to put on it. My biggest concern is that my feet tend to sweat a lot in flats and I have to toss them when they get too gross and smelly. I've heard that all leather shoes really help with that and I'm not seeing any negative effects yet!
@lulu1180, looks promising! FX for you! And I'll join the others and say I'm glad I don't have VIP. I have enough trouble staying off TB, I can't add in the chart overlay/charts like mine or I wouldn't get any work done!

So much this. I'm so sorry you're having a rough day. Hugs to you!
@berg We just got a king, and it is glorious! I roll around all night in my sleep, and now I don't even touch H. We both sleep so much better! Obviously you weren't asking for bed recommendations, but I felt the need to share. I hope your Reese's made today better!
@ladystinson I hate that feeling when I need to go so badly, but I can't get to the test fast enough! Like crossing my legs in front of the bathroom cabinet while digging around for a test!
@laurad75 TCOYF has a great section that describes temping in a time change. Do you have a copy?
@LuND FF actually my O day as the same day as my peak CBAD OPK this cycle. It has been the day after for previous cycles using the same OPKs. My other signs did seem to line up with it this time, though. Maybe wait a couple of days to make sure yours do, too.
@leekat14 Can I ask what normally happens at your 6 month endometriosis check up? I was just diagnosed earlier this year, and my doctor had me come back in 6 months only to start the fertility testing process, so we haven't had another discussion specifically about the endo.

Re: TWW Thursday 10/6
@mrlight OMG - that is such a good idea to delay the clomid one day. I suppose I should probably ask my RE but that might be the solution. Thank you!
@KhRun17 Thank you. I am going from Eastern to Pacific (Vegas for a work conference) so I was planning to just set my alarm for the same time I wake up now. I'll just be 3 hours behind.

Sorry for all the BFNs and CD 1s/impending CD1s.
Timing: EOD
Testing: Hell no
R/R: I’m excited to be back here in the TWW after what was a relatively early O for me. But not thrilled about the impending BSC SS sure to come in about a week to 10 days. I believe in the power of jinx and so I’m going to keep telling myself this isn’t our cycle even though our timing was decent and we started using pre-seed etc. No ‘positive thinking’ for me. Instead I’m going to plan appointments around my expected AF cramps and assume the worst. Better to be surprised than disappointed.
CS/Q: No thanks
GTKY: I live in wildfire country so anything outside involving fire is baaaaad. I do like looking at stars with a glass of wine though. We have decent light quality here considering proximity to the city. But I used to live in Arizona and the stargazing there was amazing.
I loved how they looked at Macy's, but I hated the almost instant scuffing and peeling on the front and heel.
@berg I don’t think I could ever have a bed big enough to convince my dog that he has room to sleep somewhere other than right on top of my legs lol. I hope you get some better sleep tonight!
@hupp0013 ghost in the graveyard is the best! I’m remembering tons of evenings spent playing that on the trampoline… I guess it never occurred to me until now that the wide open yard would be a much better layout
@flinstone Sorry about the BFN. Per your question, I believe most women would see a BFP by 14DPO, but occasionally false negatives still happen at that time. Does your O date look pretty clear? I’d hold off 2 days and test again. Well, really I’d tell myself I was going to hold off for 2 days and then test again the next day haha
@leekat14 sorry about the temp drop, I feel out after mine this morning as well. Fx we both see a spike tomorrow and they were just wonky temps…
@alyssapuggles sorry you’re headed to WTO
@Callalily25 I am sorry for the confusing cycle, I am right there with you. I’m not sure of any reason that an OPK would be positive other than an LH surge but maybe its possible that you misread it? I have been trying to find reasons for LH surge after O since my temps would implied a CD 14 O date despite negative OPKs before I got my + wondfos and peak CBAD on CD 19. I haven’t found anything yet but will keep you posted if I decide to fall back down that google rabbit hole!
@KHRun17 if my O date stays where FF has it, I’m planning on the 15th as well!
@nelbetron sorry about the BFN
@beachbunnyxo123 sorry about CD 1
@eggplantface sorry you’re waiting on AF. Per your R/R..is it weird that I’ve always kind of wanted to be called for jury duty? I feel like it might actually be an interesting experience
@lboalboh I hear ya about wanting to eat everyting in sight. I’m a stress eater and grad school has put an extra 5 pounds on me over the last year. I still made bacon and eggs for ‘brunch’ and I’m totally thinking about giving in to my pizza cravings for dinner (DH is not a pizza fan, so that’s kind of my favorite thing about him being out of town lol).
@LuND welcome to TWW!
@mrlight Ha! I love your GIF! I haven’t yet seen that movie but definitely want to! I’ve been late to work because of food like 4 or 5 times this year. I have no discipline and always assume 5 extra minutes must be enough.
@rainbowturtles I don't think I ever responded to your tag/question yesterday, so I'm super late but my tracker is just a wearable BBT device that takes observations throughout the night. I end up with between 40 & 60 and it spits out the lowest one. It fell off early into the night because it only made 10 observations and wouldn't give me a BBT because that clearly isn't a reliable amountMonth/Cycle: 3/2
GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity?
Bonfires, for sure. Every time we camp we're out around the fire late, drinking casually, roasting marshmallows, laughing, and listening to my dad play guitar. That is my favorite part of summer.

On the rave side, I'm starting some (Canadian) Thanksgiving prep today so that should be sorta fun. Making the cranberry sauce today and some for my family's dinner because my nephew loves my cranberry sauce lol
AF start already I got some new OPKs and a thermometer waiting !!!! Haha

@beachbunnyxo123 so sorry for AF! Treat yo’self today!

I would be right there with you with the SS counting what DPO it is, could it be this, or maybe not... ugh! GL.

@Flinstone sorry for BFN
I don't think you're out and I know it's hard but I think it's going to be one of those wait and see situations
@MrsN092714 I LOVE Caesars!
@wabash15 I have also had the implantation pep talk with my body lol
@DungeonTrollMel sorry you're having such a hard time
@PolarBear517 thx for replying; that sounds so frustrating about your tracker.
If they are coming back, it won't be until Tuesday, and I or DH WILL be talking to someone about this crazy start time
Month/Cycle: 1/1
GTKY: What is your favorite outside night-time activity?
Smores by the fire pit and night time walks
EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks
@beachbunnyxo123 Sorry you're out!
@wabash15 I didn't record it in FF because when I do, it takes away my CH

I've been skimming (work is too freaking busy to bump... losers) so I missed the beginning of the flats conversation. But these are what I wear to work all.the.time. this is my second pair because last year i wore them everywhere including hiking part of the Appalachian trail lol

I have been obsessed with the idea of seeing them since I was a kid and watched Balto, and I'm sure I will literally cry if/when I see them
Update::
Based on my interactions with Dr.

As most of you said, I LOVE fires and Smores, too.
@Sirius37 The northern lights are on our bucket list!
