@bnsmith85 I wanted more!!! Luckily, I stopped, though. Because, I ate them directly after dinner and now I can barely breathe. So full...

  • That is the WORST! When the sweets after dinner are so good.... And before you know it, you're miserable
  • @bamacoop good luck tonight!!
  • I've always found that sex is a little easier towards the very end for some reason. Other than the whole huge belly in the way thing.
  • May we all get laid and actually have the task pay off ! I'm taking a hot bath now, all things clean -- no excuses lol. And I better get checked at my Appt. tomorrow.

Omg my wedding rings that are normally almost too loose were so tight, I could barely get them off. I guess there goes my rings for the rest of my pregnancy. I've never swelled like this before.

Edit to add- me and DH had rough rough sex tonight. Fingers crossed it gives things a shake. I'm still feeling the cramps from the O, I hope they actually turn into something.

  • PSA: make sure you clear stuff off your phone so you have lots of room to take photos in the hospital! My phone just notified me I was running out of storage. I would've been pissed if it happened when baby came.
  • Not even sure where this would go but I'm kind of worried that I haven't had the realization that I'm about to deliver a baby at any moment. I haven't had any breakdowns, besides my DH annoying me more than usual. LOL. No crying, no scared feelings, no nervousness... I'm definitely anxious but it's just weird that I haven't had the "I'm about to be a mother and shit is about to get real, quickly, moment." Don't get me wrong, I'm excited and I can't wait to meet him, but am I the only one who hasn't been overly emotional about this whole journey? I feel like I've been on cruise control, maybe because I'm trying to just go into this with "ignorance is bliss" so I don't get scared or nervous...

  • @sportiegrl1213 I had a few days of "oh shit" right after my shower in August but I'm feeling really calm and ready now! The way I see it, every mom was a new mom once and they all survived. I know it will be difficult at first but we'll get through it so no need to panic!

I just think I'm more excited to meet him and finally have him on the outside, which I think is blocking every other emotion right now. And I'm pretty sure once it all starts, I'll have my breakdown @MRSCORKER. I just had the attitude this entire pregnancy of "it is what it is" and I have no control over anything, so I think I just been gearing myself up for whatever happens, happens.  :)

    Solid advice, ya'll. +1

@sportiegrl1213 With DD and LO, I never freaked out or anything, I was cool as a cucumber about them. Very "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it".

Re: Sex was WAY better at the end.
  • Ok good @AllyTheKid, that makes me feel better. And that's exactly how I've been looking at all this. Trial and error and going with the flow.

  • @sportiegrl1213 I had a meltdown with Johnny, but it was more about life in general than it was about him.

This. This was my outlook on the entire pregnancy and is my outlook on giving birth and raising a child. I think DH is freaking out more than I am! I'm just so excited to meet Baby B that I don't think I have room for any other feelings!!

  • @sportiegrl1213... I stress over all of that, but not at the level I feel like I should be. Like I'm worried about not getting sleep... but I'm way more excited to meet Ella than anything else.
I was reading MrsHudson's post on FB last night, and saw all the support the group gave... which made me start crying.... crying over the good feelings about the support and also over feeling bad for her and knowing I'm going to feel the same at some point. I let DH know, then and there, that I have my shit together now, but don't expect that post baby. I have a feeling I'm going to be a sobbing mess once she's here.

I also think knowing that I have all you girls and this GREAT support group really helps as well @bnsmith85. Even though I've never met any of you personally, I feel like I know a lot of you on a personal level. It's nice to be able to put it all out there with no judgement. It's very reassuring!  <3

And I agree @ibabyloveb87! My DH is definitely more nervous than I am. Which cracks me up!

  • @sportiegrl1213 i didn't have an actual freak out even when i had an emergency c and a baby 20 min after they told me they're taking her out...i think i'm still in shock
  • @sportiegrl1213 I am in the same boat. I feel like I just cannot really imagine having a baby so I don't even know what to freak out about. I feel like we have read a million books, taken the classes, bought all the supplies, the rest (when the baby is born, how I feel, how we adjust) is out of our control so I am choosing not to think to hard about it.

Same here as well, I am hoping it is just my way of dealing with it and not freaking out before labor starts.

  • @sportiegrl1213 I had a full on meltdown this week, but as @AllyTheKid said, I think mine had more to do with my life in general currently. However, as all the feels came out, I did have the, "Holy crap I'm gonna be a mom and I have no idea what I'm doing" moment of panic. I have a logical side that tells me it's all going to be okay, but I think when my emotions are already so raw, I'm more susceptible to that panic. I am also grateful to have such a great support group here though. Helps to have an outlet!
  • Omg, @F47 that is nuts! So glad everyone is ok! I hope your H makes it home soon!

@SpaceBurger luckily my Mom is home and lives 10 minutes away. Once I get DS to bed, I'm going to plant myself on the couch for the evening. Hopeful these will stop (unlike every other time when I'm SO hopeful this is it).

And, thanks @ibabyloveb87 & @MRSCORKER. Still trying to process everything, but praise hands emojis are in order.

  • holy cow @f47 take it easy and drink a lot of water to hopefully fend off anything stronger
  • Omg @F47! That is insane, and I'm SO GLAD everyone is okay! FX that this either isn't the real thing this time OR, your H gets back before things really get real.
  • Woah @F47 glad your FIL is okay and fx baby stays put til your DH returns
  • @F47 That is crazy! So happy they're alright! And hoping baby stays put until your H returns.
  • So many thoughts headed your way right now @F47! Im so glad everyone will be alright, but how terrifying for everyone involved. Tell that baby to hang tight for just a few more hours!
