This week nothing sounds good again . I feel hungry constantly but can never thinking of anything that actually sounds appetizing. It's so frustrating. I cried last night trying to figure out what to bring for lunch today. Boooo hormones.
I am SO hungry today and feel like I can't eat enough. By 9am I had consumed a granola bar, two cutie oranges, an apple, an English muffin with peanut butter and a cookie....and still could have probably eaten more. No specific cravings right now except corn dogs! Yikes!
After my OB appointment this morning, DH ran through the Chik-fil-A drivethru (totally out of the norm) and I may have landed on a new craving, haha. Plain ol' fried chicken on a biscuit. It hit all the right spots!
I will admit, weeks ago I was super picky with food and really did not have much of an appetite. Well, it's back and in full force! I'm trying to just pack healthy snacks for work to keep me from going head-first, ram-style into the vending machine upstairs.

I woke up this morning thinking about funnel cake. Too bad there is nowhere to get one. Lately I've been off meat. Just don't want it. Unless it's fried garlic bologna for some reason. It has to be garlic though and it has to be fried, almost burnt. I've had two pieces for breakfast every day this week.
I've been craving Taco Bell, Chipotle, banana pepper rings and nachos for the last week, but now at 11 and a half weeks absolutely nothing sounds appetizing whatsoever. Which really sucks since I'm also starving.
I've been surviving on potatoes, crackers and cheese, pickles, grapes, and eating a ton of sandwiches. I've been craving Chinese food for 2 weeks now, so I don't care what DH says, we're getting some tonight.
Fruits, fruits, and more fruits! This weekend I indulged in granny smith apples, watermelon, and cantaloupe. We're going grocery shopping tonight, so I'm sure I'll pick up some strawberries or grapes.
@shaunessa oh how I wish I could eat fruits without gagging! This poor child has been growing on carbs and dairy mostly. But watermelon actually sounds good. I should go get some.
haha, I've actually been avoiding dairy! Not by choice obviously...just doesn't sound good. My husband the other day was like "what?! you don't want cheese on your burger?"
I'm starting to feel a bit better and able to eat less carbs finally! I'm cooking a big thanksgiving meal for our little family of 3. Turkey, cinnamon orange vanilla cranberry sauce, Italian style stuffing, sweet potato casserole with maple butter and walnuts, roasted balsamic brussel sprouts, and gravy of course!
Who was it that reminded me how safe lunch meat is? I think I need a reminder, because it's the only non-fruit, non-fried chicken item I can stomach. Please calm my anxious mind
@kcasset I believe it was @TheJerilu check back on one of the "What My Pregnant Self if Eating" boards. Or a FFFC one...I can't remember where that convo happened.

I basically rant about it whenever I see somebody talk about it.
If you've never gotten sick from lunchmeat before, you're probably storing it fine. Listeria affects both pregnant and non-pregnant people, and the rate of infection is only slightly higher than the likelihood that you'll be struck by lightning in the US.
I just ate a turkey and swiss sandiwhc myself. I was craving it the past few days. I told the deli to heat up the meat on the grill before putting it on the sandwich :}

Cuties. Our boss bought 5 bags for client appreciation week last week and no one comes to the bank and is like "oh I think I want an orange" so no one is eating them but me and my coworkers. I had never had a cutie till last week and now I can't stop. I even took one of the bags home.
I'm on a huge chicken nachos kick this week. I'm making them for myself nightly for dinner. For lunch I've been obsessing over Panera's Autumn Squash soup. It's so good!!
A variation of this.. I switch out the sun dried tomatoes for red peppers..add more garlic and red pepper flakes and use whatever pasta I have on hand. Tonight I used chicken nuggets bc I couldn't stomach looking at the raw chicken haha
So.much.cheese. I have cheese in one form or another every single day at least once. I've been seriously craving clam chowder from Red Lobster this week but DH shot me down.
I made the most amazing baked shrimp last night...Panko crumbs, (white wine but I didn't have any so left out), garlic, butter and lemon juice...so easy to make and tastes amazing...I'm sure I'll be craving this for a while now
i'm not really craving anything. cereal seems to be my go to. Captain Crunch, Fruit Loops, Honey Combs. the one thing that's hit or miss is chicken i loved chicken prior to pregnancy. my dh complains because he wants me to eat healthier, but i just eat.

Pickles, pepperochini, jalapenos...zesty hot stuff. Last night I made a beef stew from a recipe that I loved pre-pregnancy, but it tasted so bland that I had to add a lot of hot sauce to mine.
Re: What My Pregnant Self is Eating 10/6
I have been enjoying looking at pictures of food, but I can't imagine eating it.
