I have been constipated this whole pregnancy until this last week - I attributed it to all the fruit (specifically kiwi berries) that I've been eating, but today was particularly bad & no fruit to blame it on. And I've been nauseous at night just like first tri. Now I'm nervous!!
I've been having hot flashes too and turned on the ceiling fan this afternoon when DS came home and he had a balloon from when my girlfriends surprised me with a little visit with presents for baby- anyway the balloon instantly got caught up in the ceiling fan making DS hysterical and H not very happy!
adding... You could tell me you're having just about any new symptom at this point, and I'd assume maybe it means you're about to go into labor. Just wishful thinking for all of us lol
Ok I haven't understood what people meant when they said they feel like they've been kicked in the crotch. Today, I am feeling it. What does this mean?! (Assuming nothing. Ha)

Ugh isn't it a lovely feeling @ibabyloveb87? Mine comes and goes but apparently it means nothing because I have been experiencing it for a few weeks. It's just been added discomfort. Unfortunately.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
So I had a cervical check yesterday and my OB said not to be alarmed if I have some spotting. I was expecting light pink assuming that it would be spotting from an irritated cervix but it's brown and I've noticed little pieces of what look like tissue in the toilet after I pee. They aren't clots and they're still brown. Did anyone else have this after cervical checks? I'm not worried about LO as I can feel him moving just not sure if this is what the "spotting" should look like.

@MRSCORKER I have only had pink spotting but my midwife did warn me that it could be brown. She told me spotting is usually a sign of cervix change and nothing to be worried about. She said only heavy fresh blood is concerning at this point. The tissue sounds like mucus plug but I don't have expirence with that yet.

Yeah, I was thinking it might be pieces of the MP. I've lost some chunks (ick) but it makes sense that smaller pieces could come out after being poked.

@ibabyloveb87 if your LO is already in position, then the feeling could be the baby turning to get into position. If not in position yet, the baby could just be getting there. I wouldn't worry
@mrscorker brown blood is usually old blood- so it's definitely not a fresh blood. Whenever I've had brown spotting it has always had that tissue-ish look. And by old blood - the check could have made you spot but it might have sat inside you for a few hours thus coming out brown.
I laughed SO. HARD. at that e-card. It is perfect, and I need to pin it to my chest so everyone has warning lol.
@ByeBabyBunting Sudafed, just plain old Sudafed 4 hour and it works wonders for me. It can elevate your blood pressure, not that that's a bad thing but good to know at an appointment (it happened to me early on, but I mentioned to my doc that I had taken some and so it became nothing to worry about).
@LizaKate1213 OMG yes to rib pain! For me, it's a localized stabbing pain just right of center that I am attributing to a large uterus and babe running out of room. If I poke around I can actually usually pinpoint with my fingers the spot that's irritating me. It's so odd. I'm good in the morning, but as the day progresses it gets increasingly worse. By the time I get home, I practically have to lay down to find any relief. As I sit here at my desk typing, I wonder if my underwire bra isn't contributing to some of the pain, pushing down on my belly while I sit. Hm...
My left hip this morning is very angry. I stretched around on the ball yesterday so maybe I pissed it off then? I'm trying to stretch at my desk, hoping it goes away!
Countdown to Baby H! Mommy to Elizabeth (6/18/09), preemie at 34 weeks
Period like cramping at its finest today, actually I've been having these on and off since Monday. They were pretty consistent during the night and have been consistent the past hour. Hopefully this means something is happening. I see my Dr today.

Has anyone experienced really bad pain in their groin, like a pulled groin muscle? I never experienced it with my first but this one, it's SO bad and by nighttime I can barely walk!
Other than that, I am CRAZY swollen, breathing is hard, and baby girl's head is RIGHT on my bladder and cervix which = OUCH.

I've been having these off and on since Friday. FX it's good news for you!
@MRSCORKER - My post cervix check bleeding was brown, as well, and lasted for a couple days on and off.
Reading what @AllyTheKid said yesterday about diarrhea possibly signifying impending labor has made my day. I've had loose BM's at least 3 times a day since Sunday (sorry for the TMI). I seriously want this child to come next week, so I'm choosing to believe the two are linked.
@cd92007 yup, I've had that. OB said it's the ligament that holds your leg bone into your hip loosening so the bones are not aligned correctly. There's a medical term that I can't remember. Mine has gotten a little better so hopefully yours will too!
Add me to the crotch pain, it has been going on for awhile now but worse today after a cervix check. Also swollen feet, uncomfortable, lack of sleep, and bitchy.........
So all the pressure and cramping I'm feeling is my body getting ready... I'm 50% effaced and 1cm dialated. My Dr said I'm well on my way. But I'm sure nothing more will happen till closer to my due date. We shall see what happens again next week.

I'm pretty positive you'll be having your baby before me @ibabyloveb87 lol. I don't have that kind of luck. He'll be stubborn and stay put! I'll be getting a text from you this weekend!!!

@Kaytee1087, yes! Same pain, same place, just right of center. It is definitely tender to touch as well. Sitting makes it worse, standing or being on all 4's is much better. Blahh.
My BH have gotten more intense. I'm a FTM so I wasn't really sure what BH's felt like but my OB confirmed that the cramping I've had is false labor. Makes me a little excited that I know what they are but every time I get an intense cramp I hope its the real thing... and it never is. I just want to meet my LO and get back to normal instead of looking like Hurley from Lost.

Ladies I learned a lesson today I would like to share. One of my symptoms has been belly bloating and not able to eat very much because I feel so full so quick. Well, I was getting a 38 week nst today and fainted during the test. Low blood sugar. I am not diabetic but was sent to l&d for fetal monitoring and ultrasound which luckily were perfect. It is easy to forget how hard our bodies are working this late in pregnancy so please know there is truth to the advice to eat small meals frequently, hydrate, and most importantly listen to your bodies cues!!

Every time I stand up I feel like my entire stomach is going to fall out of my crotch... I legit walk like I've just stepped off a long ride on a horse. At this point, I would be totally fine if baby just fell out - my floors are clean and carpeted.
Also, I ate all the pineapple... Baby is still intact, but proceeded to have a gymnastics party for about an hour. Probably flipped its way up and further away from the exit. *sigh* I feel like these last days are the LONGEST days of my life!!
@lmnobaby I found when I stand or sit up, gravity sort of crashes the baby right down painfully. I have to hold my stomach up with my hands and let it slowly setting back down.
When I hit 3rd tri, I had really bad nausea and was taking Zofran everyday again. Turns out I was anemic which I didn't realize caused nausea. So once I got my iron levels back up the nausea went away thankfully! I'm not saying that's what's going on with those of you who are experiencing it. BUT wanted to mention it because it's really easy to get the simple finger prick test at the office to test it. I was shocked when I learned I has become severely anemic within just a couple weeks.
