How AF arrives 5 days early just amazes me and pisses me off at the same time. Usually I would've gone in for us and bw today for a baseline but everyone thinks I need to give my ovaries a month off. Makes me sad but I think my ovaries need a break as they're not performing well. Had such a great sample to use its so disappointing!

@hopefulmom So sorry for the bad news. If you do end up taking the month off, try and enjoy things that are not TTC related. It can be tough to take a break, but it may offer a brief respite from the IF crazies!

@fivetimesnoluck thanks so much for the positive vibes! *TW* So my US today didn't show a sac and the covering doctor seemed pessimistic like this is most likely a miscarriage. I was on pins and needles all day till they just called with my beta: 252 (from 58.8 on fri), so that is actually encouraging! And from my googling, it's not like they should expect to see a sac yet at that hcg level anyways. So here I am, grasping so tightly at hope. So I go back for US with my actual doctor and blood work on Thurs. I'm excited to see her and see what she thinks. So much waiting!
Wow! What a roller coaster, @lady_grey. I am holding onto hope right there with you! Thursday will seem like forever away, I am sure. Today you're pregnant though and that's all that matters right this minute!

*TW*loss Oh ladies, with a heavy heart, I found out today my pregnancy is failing. My hcg only went up a tiny bit to 281 and they see nothing on the scan. So it appears to be an early miscarriage which is still evolving. My husband and I could barely make it out of the doctors office without falling apart. I will have to go back for repeat scans and hcg to make sure it goes down to zero. Still a risk it could be ectopic too. I'm just beyond heartbroken. At least the uncertainty is over and my hope is gone. I look forward to joining you all again once this all sorts itself out. I hope you get your bfp's, and when you do that you don't have to go through the ordeal I just had!!

So my US today didn't show a sac and the covering doctor seemed pessimistic like this is most likely a miscarriage. I was on pins and needles all day till they just called with my beta: 252 (from 58.8 on fri), so that is actually encouraging! And from my googling, it's not like they should expect to see a sac yet at that hcg level anyways. So here I am, grasping so tightly at hope. So I go back for US with my actual doctor and blood work on Thurs. I'm excited to see her and see what she thinks. So much waiting!

Oh ladies, with a heavy heart, I found out today my pregnancy is failing. My hcg only went up a tiny bit to 281 and they see nothing on the scan. So it appears to be an early miscarriage which is still evolving. My husband and I could barely make it out of the doctors office without falling apart. I will have to go back for repeat scans and hcg to make sure it goes down to zero. Still a risk it could be ectopic too. I'm just beyond heartbroken. At least the uncertainty is over and my hope is gone. I look forward to joining you all again once this all sorts itself out. I hope you get your bfp's, and when you do that you don't have to go through the ordeal I just had!!
