It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @NYTino24 so happy to hear that your sister's surgery went well.  All my <3 for a speedy recovery both physically and emotionally.
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 19/ 7 DPO

    Timing: -2, O

    Testing: Not until 10-11 DPO

R/R: We just found out my mom has a slight blockage in her heart. I'm trying not to get too scared, but she's only 52 years old and her dad died of a heart attack at 58. So, I'm pretty worried.

CS/Q: I am EXTREMELY confused. Took an OPK yesterday evening (6:00 pm) because I apparently can't resist the urge to POAS. It was DARKER than the control line. Took another one at 12:00 am...still darker. Took another one today at 8:00 am with FMU and it was still darker. I had what I think is a pretty clear temp shift. I'm not sick. I don't have a fever. I even took my temp with another thermometer right after my bbt thermometer to test its accuracy...it was spot on. I had watery CM yesterday and my cervix was high, so we BDed just in case. Today it seems to be back to dry. I had Day 3 testing on Sept 19th....no PCOS and doc said levels were all normal. Last week when I should've Oed, I definitely had watery CM, high cervix, etc. I felt the same way I did last month when I Oed. Dried up immediately the next day and had the temp spike...so what is going on?

I guess I'm fine with it if I didn't O and will O in 24 hours or so from last night. However, if this is the case, why are my temps still so high? Should I be concerned? Could this indicate any problem? Driving myself crazy :(

GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
My Uncle Anthony....he's so funny and caring!

  • Month/Cycle: 23/18

    CD/DPO: 24/8 DPIUI/ 7 DPO

    Timing: -4, -1 IUI, 0

    Testing: This weekend

R/R: DH will be getting off the night shift earlier than we expected!  I’m pretty excited because I barely see him during the week when he’s working nights.

CS/Q: I’ve had the exact same temperature two days in a row 3 times this cycle.  I just thought it was really odd.  (I’ve always temped at different times because I have to go to work at different times, but I’ve always been able to find a pattern and notate ovulation.  I’ve just never had the exact same temp so many times before.)

GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why? It’s a tie between my brother and my cousin.  Both are still some of my best friends to this day.

Testing: Friday? That will be 12 days after ovulation

R/R: Nothing really - I have had a really sore back this week and sitting at work is a struggle but otherwise it's a normal week!

CS/Q: how do you all decide when to test? I was going to wait until Sunday but my husband will be out of town for the weekend, so I'll do one Friday when he's home and maybe again on Sunday if it's negative?

GTKY: My mom is my best friend - definitely my favorite family member! But my niece and nephew aren't far behind.
  • Sorry to all the BFNs yesterdays! I didn't get a chance to check in.
NYTino24 - glad to hear that your sisters okay.
CallaLily25 - sorry to hear about your mom.
  • @mrlight I don't know what they didn't have me come in before that.  This is my first cycle that they were going to do an IUI so I just followed the instructions the nurse gave me.  I have a phone appt with my RE this afternoon now to talk about next steps and I'm going to make it clear that I need more monitoring so we don't miss O again next cycle...assuming there is one.

  • @laurad75 Yes, I would definitely bring up making an appointment with them the week after finishing Clomid, especially if there is a weekend coming up.  I mean, what would they have done if you had gotten a positive OPK on Sunday?  But, FX you won’t have to do IUI next month! :)

@MrsN092714 It sounds like you are going to have a really fun/busy next few days!
