R/R: Not much to report. My sister came out of surgery okay, but is in a lot of pain. I don't want to do the drive this weekend, but it's the right thing to do. I'm just worried that I'll test and be knocked up and have to break it to a sister that just had a partial hysterectomy. That would just be so Murphy's Law along with me not qualifying for my long-awaited STDI.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
I have a big, crazy family on both sides and it's hard to choose. I would say my Poppy (Grandpa). He was born in Italy and had an accent. I liked hearing him talk to family on the phone in Italian even though I never learned it. We always had good food at his house, and he looked like Santa.

start another chart with traditional temps for comparison.
CS/Q: No thanks
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
my brother. He is 3 years younger than me and I was so excited to bring "my baby" home when he was born. He has been one of my favorite people ever since. My parents had their strict moments and we didn't always see eye to eye so I was blessed to have a sibling, someone on equal footing, in my own home. It would have been a much harder journey without him. We have the same sense of humor too which is a bonus!

GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
my favorite aunt was my mom's SIL because she always brought us to McDonald's and my mom never would. She always took us shopping too. Also- she was a special needs teacher and did so much good for so many kids.

R/R: I have a glucose tolerance test today. The drink is like an orange-sugar syrup. It is awful. It is also the third time I have had to drink it. Twice in pregnancy and now to rule out diabetes for my new RE.
CS/Q: this morning I put in my high temp into FF and got no CHs. Then I fudged around with the wake times (by 10 minutes) on 2 open circles and disregarded a 4am wake time and then got CHs. I feel like I maybe cheated? Or outsmarted it. Take a look st my chart and tell me what you think. Link is in Siggy.
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
My mom. I don't have a big loving family but my Mom has always been my rock. Always adding in fun. I'm the Rory to her Lorelai.

R/R: DH and I normally see the Sox once a year, whether it be in Philly, Baltimore, the Bronx, or Fenway. But with everything that has gone on this summer, we haven't had a chance to. It's Papi's last season and he's the best so we have to see him. So last night I bought tickets to game three at Fenway for the ALDS against Cleveland. I didn't even surprise him, like I normally do. I just said hey look at tickets, we found some that weren't insanely priced and bam we're going. Now, I know he is on a crazy roller coaster of emotions since losing his mom, but he actually teared up. I looked at him like he was crazy. He told me he is so excited to go to a playoff game and how much he appreciates me. If this is the reaction I get to buying him baseball tickets to a game I also want to go to, we are going to ALL the games!!!
CS/Q: nah
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why? Oh jeez this is a toughie. I guess I'll have to say my brother. My sister was 8 years older and wanted nothing to do with me until I was about 16 and she could steal my clothes, but my brother being only 6 years older played with me all the time. He did typical big brother stuff, put my beloved stuffed bear on the ceiling fan and turned it on, put same bear in the basketball hoop at the end of the hallway, set the sink spray nozzle to spray me when I went to get him a glass of water. But he also played pretend with me all the time growing up and he let me be Shera when he played Heman. And that time I was nine and my sister threw a party while my parents were in St. Thomas, he made sure to come up to my parents' bedroom where I was told to stay, and hang out with me and watched Beevus and Butthead. And when I was 14 and my parents' went away again he let me take his car around the block, punching my leg whenever I used my left leg to press the brake.
@Brooklyngirl6 while I don't think Humira would directly affect your cycle, it's a biologic that targets specific functions of your immune system hoping to slow the progression the body from attacking itself. There are tons of side effects (you know all the chatter that happens during the commercial that people always make fun of) but since you just started taking it, your body is going to respond and change things a bit as it adapts to an engineered substance that is trying to stop it from doing what it wants. (I used to work in pharma and Humira was one of my brands, while I'm not an expert I know a little bit). I myself have noticed my cycles change since stopping an SSRI I was on. While I didn't expect any changes to happen, I think anytime we change a routine of our bodies we are bound to experience changes in other areas.
@leekat14 hopefully those are some good signs! FX
@maebee87 I think I would leave it for a few more days how things actually happened. I messed with my chart earlier in my cycle and made it look like I O'd on CD17 then I actually didn't until CD27

CS/Q: Just waiting for AF. Confused with how my follicular phase is growing so long but like above poster said it could be medication, paraguard removal, etc. soooo many things.
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why? Probably my aunt. She was never married and did not have kids, but she was super fancy, always traveling to exotic places like Africa, India, Europe. She had a beautiful home and new how to have a good time. Though I know she would have traded it all to have a family, it looked wonderful from the outside.

The charts like mine feature is doing me more good than harm since I can only seem to find 1 that has a similar post-O temp pattern
CS/Q: not that I can think of
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
My sister. We are only about a year and a half apart and growing up we were inseparable. We played together all the time and were each other's buddy! We still have a mostly good relationship.

R/R: Work is super cray-cray right now so I'm just trying to get through my days without being super stressed!
CS/Q: ugh. Ok, so I don't have FF VIP and I'm kinda glad about it. Anywho, I told you before that I've had a slow rise, basically 0.10 increase per day. Yesterday I had a temp drop of 0.20, and this morning an increase of 0.25. So I started looking at the FF chart gallery and of course found one that looked eerily similar to mine (meaning nothing, I know). But that coupled with the slight cramping I've had since the evening of 6dpo, I'm getting really excited. I know I'm likely setting myself up for disappointment, but it's so hard!
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
I have 3 older brothers (lucky me, I know!). I always looked up to my oldest brother who is 14 years older than me.

R/R: I'm just super confused about my chart right now because I O'd way earlier than I usually do. Lucky for me, DH was a little teenager and got us EOD timing leading up to CD 13. I wasn't anticipating FW starting until that day, so... guess we lucked out there!
CS/Q: Nope...just waiting and watching what it does.
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why? Probably my female cousin. Because I was the first girl in 2 generations on my dads side of the family and she was only 6 months younger than me. Making us the only girls at family get-togethers, and there were 8 boy cousins older than us, so we would always find a hiding place and do our own thing. Occasionally one of the boy cousins would come find us an ask what we were doing, and we usually gave the typical young girl response of giggling, looking at each other, and saying "nothing".

R/R: We just found out my mom has a slight blockage in her heart. I'm trying not to get too scared, but she's only 52 years old and her dad died of a heart attack at 58. So, I'm pretty worried.
CS/Q: I am EXTREMELY confused. Took an OPK yesterday evening (6:00 pm) because I apparently can't resist the urge to POAS. It was DARKER than the control line. Took another one at 12:00 am...still darker. Took another one today at 8:00 am with FMU and it was still darker. I had what I think is a pretty clear temp shift. I'm not sick. I don't have a fever. I even took my temp with another thermometer right after my bbt thermometer to test its accuracy...it was spot on. I had watery CM yesterday and my cervix was high, so we BDed just in case. Today it seems to be back to dry. I had Day 3 testing on Sept 19th....no PCOS and doc said levels were all normal. Last week when I should've Oed, I definitely had watery CM, high cervix, etc. I felt the same way I did last month when I Oed. Dried up immediately the next day and had the temp spike...so what is going on?
I guess I'm fine with it if I didn't O and will O in 24 hours or so from last night. However, if this is the case, why are my temps still so high? Should I be concerned? Could this indicate any problem? Driving myself crazy

R/R: period is definitely coming. Spotting is getting heavier. Im concerned bc it started on 8DPO when normally it starts late on 11DPO. I stupidly was all "implantation spotting!" on 8DPO and was excited. I want to flame myself for that. And now I'm in the shame spiral of "why doesn't my body work? CS/Q: no. Thbbppt.
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
My dad's mom. I used to sleep in the bed with her when she visited, and my brother and I would fight over who slept with her at her house. She'd come up to us, when we were little children, mind you, put up her fists and go "You wanna fight?" like a 1920s boxer. She was a tough lady.

I'm just waiting for them to call with the results of the bw. The ultrasound came back good. I have a nice thick lining (sorry tmi) and a cyst but if I am preggers they won't do anything with it but if I am not then we (dr's & me) have to discuss our options.
My favorite people growing up were my mom and my granny (her mom). My mom is just an awesome amazing mom. I wouldn't trade her for anything. My granny was an amazing woman. She was born during the depression so material things never meant that much but her family (children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren) were her most prized possessions. She LOVED being a mom and grandma. Sadly alzheimers took her two years ago.

R/R: Help, I've fallen down the symptom spotting rabbit hole and now I can't get out! I had lots of cramps yesterday and AF is still several days away. I'm impressed that I lasted 8 days before I started to SS this cycle.
CS/Q: None.
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why?
My mom and my grandma. I guess just because my mom was the mom. Grandma would always spoil me rotten. I has sleep overs at her house almost every week and we would go shopping.
@CallaLily25 T&P with you and your mom. On the bright side, now that doctors are aware of the blockage, they can start treating it. Your chart looks like you Oed on Cycle Day 12. You can have fertile quality CM at different points in your cycle, not only around O. I’ve never used an OPK, so I’m not really familiar with the accuracy of them first-hand. It’s smart to BD anytime you have fertile CM, but I wouldn’t change your ovulation date.
@laurad75 Sorry you weren’t able to do the IUI this cycle. I hope you won’t need it next cycle, but if you do, I hope you are able to. Why did you not have an RE appointment the week after taking Clomid for bloodwork and ultrasound to check your levels? I know for me, personally, I typically O 7 days from my last Clomid pill, and my RE always wants to see me around that day to make sure I am surging with mature follicles and that we don’t need to do anything else that cycle.
@littlebug2010 Sorry AF arrived. FX for next cycle.
@eggplantface Sorry AF is on the way. I felt really down on myself last cycle, especially since I have PCOS and DH’s SA came back perfect, so I felt like it was my fault that we haven’t been KU. DH asked me, “Are you not getting pregnant on purpose?” I said, “no, of course not!” He said, “Then, it’s not your fault. You aren’t responsible for something you can’t help.” That conversation made me feel a little better. What really helped, though, was when we had our IUI done this time they told me how many sperm were left after the wash, and it was millions! I just started laughing because I thought I really shouldn’t beat myself up when not even one tiny sperm out of millions each cycle hasn’t been able to hit something that is 22 mm big. Also, your grandmother sounds awesome!
@Dinosaur I’m guilty of SS, too! It’s kind of hard not to. I’ve been craving Mexican food all week, so obviously that means I’m totes pregger.

CD/ DPO: 25/4
Timing: -3,-2,O
Testing: probably not until next Wednesday. My mom is going to be in town and IF I were to get a BFP I don't want her knowing right off the hop. After our loss I think I will wait until at least 8 weeks to tell our families.
R/R: I've got a lot of visiting to do in the next while! I'm going to see a friend who is pregnant and on bed rest today, this afternoon one of my besties who got engaged on the weekend is popping in for a visit and to show off her new bling! A girlfriend I haven't seen in over 2 years is coming to stay with me on Friday night. Thanksgiving dinner this weekend with my in laws. My mom gets here on Monday for a few days and my dad at the end of the month! And it's my sons birthday at the end of the month and his one year photo shoot next weekend. Yay for October... The only thing that would really top it off is 2 pink lines!
CS/Q: no chart this month, just a lot of confusing OPKs. This whole cycle is a guessing game and it's driving me mental! I will be charting next month. My let it be attitude for this month is driving me crazy. Although, my son has been up basically every 2 hours for weeks now so I don't even know how accurate my temps would be....
GTKY: My favourite family member growing up was probably my gramma on my dads side. I spent a lot of time there while growing up. Every night my mom worked nights and my dad was on call. I went there for lunch once a week all through school. I can't count how many times I ran away from home, or decided I was moving out and ended up there. She never questioned it. I have a ton of beautiful memories with her. In the last few years I was home she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and for a very long time I was the only person she never forgot. She was a beautiful person and watching that disease take her was heart wrenching.
Our Angel: EDD: 05/11/17. MC at 6 weeks

CD/DPO: 20/unclear (CBFM issue)
Timing: Who knows!
Testing: Tuesday at the earliest
R/R: Rave: Went out for an amazing steakhouse dinner last night and had a Manhattan. Rant: Said Manhattan was actually the size of three drinks and between that and the rich food, I'm pretty hungover. Also, SS like a MF ("Ooh, my stomach feels a little weird!" OF COURSE IT DOES, YOU IDIOT, YOU'RE HUNGOVER.)
CS/Q: Has anyone who used the ClearBlue Fertility Monitor had it not work (high readings all month) the first month and then had it work in subsequent months?
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why? I'm an only child and was mostly raised by my mom, so I was a super mama's girl.

R/R: Still issues with getting woken up/not sleeping well and I have a headache. Gonna try to make it to the pool tho and I have some shopping to do. Feeling fairly calm TWW-wise but it is only 6dpo so we'll see ***edited to add: I just wiped and had pink/brown spotting ....I feel the calmness dissipating lol***
CS/Q: my temp has been going up by .01 degree Celsius each day lol Not a question, just an observation...weird
GTKY: Who was your favorite family member growing up and why? My stepdad. He was all I knew of a dad because mine died when I was 3 months old. He was sweet and had a great moustache lol Sadly, he passed almost 8yrs ago from cancer and I miss him very much
@laurad75 Yes, I would definitely bring up making an appointment with them the week after finishing Clomid, especially if there is a weekend coming up. I mean, what would they have done if you had gotten a positive OPK on Sunday? But, FX you won’t have to do IUI next month!
@MrsN092714 It sounds like you are going to have a really fun/busy next few days!
