Hurricane Matthew really needs to get its shit together and figure out where it's going. I really don't want to have to evacuate at over 39 weeks prego, ahh the stress!!
@kmyers228 I actually thought about you when I saw that because you're somewhere in Florida, right? I was freaking out about the earthquake threat, but I couldn't imagine a hurricane coming my way! Hopefully it blows away!
Yea I'm in Jacksonville @SpaceBurger so really hoping it stays far enough off shore that it won't be too bad! Earthquakes are no good either so fx we'll all be safe and get these LOs out without natural disasters!
@kmyers228 I'm in the same boat, I'm in Charleston SC and they are starting evacuations tomorrow. My doctor said this morning (before we knew) that if they evacuate I need to go too. This would be the luck, 9 months pregnant with a hurricane off the coast!
Praying that laughter will bring on labor. I want to hug this princess. You've hugged her long enough my turn
I just got that via text from my dh's aunt. The same one who told dh's sister that she would 'race her to the hospital'. Seriously eye rolls. And just no.
Also yaaaay @AllyTheKid! So exciting! And AW it up with those precious baby pics! He. Is. Adorable!
@maf9866 - ummm... That would annoy the eff out of me. And would also make me not want to tell that person we had the baby. I decide when I've had enough time with my baby... Thanks!
We'll take our camera to the hospital. DH actually used it when DS1 was born. And, I'll want some pics of DS meeting baby this time around. It won't take up that much space, so if we don't end up using it, no big loss.
I just figure it's worth taking the camera. I mean, it is the first few hours of your baby's life. So, you can only regret not having it. If you don't use it, no harm done.
Another complete random: I hadn't thought about this until today, but I suddenly thought about how I don't have the linea nigra line on my stomach. And, apparently that's because you don't get it second time around. Is this the same for other STM and TTMs?
@F47 I had it for 1 and 2, but not this time. I'm totally okay with that too, it made me look like an airbrushed Spartan soldier from 300. Not a flattering look on a lady haha
@bnsmith85 exactly my feelings!! I can't wait to tell her she isn't going to be visiting us in the hospital. We are going to try to be out 24 hours after (in a perfect world) because we have never been away from dd for more then 24 hours. But even if I have to stay I think I'm going to say no to almost all visitors!
@F47 I didn't have it with my first and just checked (haha) and I don't have it this time either. I hope that trend continues for the next one or two I have!
I didn't get a linea nigra (first child) but I thought I did at one point before realizing it was just my belly hair... (I am pale-skinned and dark-haired).
My sister always brings her real camera and she uses it. With her first baby she had a really good nurse in the OR who took amazing photos of the baby being weighted and cleaned. I was so jealous- we didn't do any photos in the OR.
Interesting! I had it with my first, for sure. Very noticeable. I'm a pale, blonde girl. I thought everyone got it. Shows what I know! But, I'm with you @AllyTheKid, certainly not something I am missing.
I dont think im hairier. But, my body hair is so fine and blonde, I'm not sure I'd notice.
I didn't get the line with number one or number two. But they were girls. Now I'm having a boy for number three and have the line. So maybe for me it's a boy thing? I have no idea, but I hope it actually fades.
Edit- I have brown hair

@F47 I too am very fair with white/clear body hair- but it has gotten so thick and long it can be seen ALL. OVER. MY. BODY. FI makes fun of it =/ Oh well, it'll she'd off! It always does.

I already posted this in the ticker change, but AW moment over here:
