GTKY: It's Monday morning. You find out you have one day left to live. What do you do?
Spend the day at home with husband and dog. Honestly, I wouldn't want to spend the day phoning other family and friends and dealing with their sadness, so I might write a handful of short notes to people, but then I'd cuddle up on the sofa, eat some good food and watch my favourite movies.
Most books, Internet sites, and OPK or fertility monitor instruction sheets say that the day you ovulate is the most fertile. But the latest research, based on four different studies, shows that the most fertile days are one and two days before ovulation. For women in their late 20s and early 30s, the chance of getting pregnant on the day of ovulation is less than 1 in 10, but two days before ovulation it’s 1 in 3— three times higher!
@MrsN092714 Oh jeez. I'm planning to test on Sunday too and it hadn't occurred to me that it's Thanksgiving! I'm going to have to work really hard to contain the daydreaming "oh we'll be SO thankful" etc
Timing: I think meh, but again, not sure when I O'ed

R/R: It finally feels like fall in Southern California! Unreasonably excited to wear a long-sleeved shirt. Also, L'Shana Tovah to my fellow Jews!
CS/Q: What do you guys do to keep distracted during the TWW? I'm between jobs, so I have nothing but time to think about it and it's driving me slowly insane!
GTKY: It's Monday morning. You find out you have one day left to live. What do you do? Oh god. Spend a few hours calling everyone I love and saying goodbye and then eat a bunch and maybe just go make a bonfire and hang out by the water until I go.

R/R: I ovulated late this cycle, on CD 25. AF is very irregular, had to take provera to jump start it. Now I'm hoping she doesn't come. I did confirm with bloodwork that I ovulated. I'll try again tomorrow!
@lboalboh Your chart looks really promising to me! It's still a little early at 10DPO, but it looks like it's on the right track!
@Cait32 So sorry you are in a funk today. *Creepy Internet Hugs* Last cycle I got really dark and moody (I couldn't stop crying over everything, which is not like me) around 11 DPO and it lasted until AF arrived (16DPO). I know exactly how you feel and it's hard. For me, once AF arrived and a new cycle started, it was like I turned over a new leaf. (I'm the type of person that if I'm not KU, then I want AF to hurry up and arrive so I can get started on the next cycle.) That being said, 11 DPO is still a little early to test, and you aren't out until you're out.

@Flinstone If I were you, I would talk to your doctor. If he/she is willing to start investigating your long cycles, than I don't see anything wrong with that. It's definitely a personal choice. But I would pursue it if it were offered to me. Better to find out sooner if something is wrong so you aren't wasting cycles. ETA: That's being said. If you're not too long off of BC, that could explain things as well. That's kind of a different story. Every doctor is different in terms of what they will say is normall, but most would tell you it will take some time to regulate. Either way you're going in the wrong direction, so that seems to be your doctors concern. Good luck.
@callalily25 Your timing is not bad. At the very least, -2 is really good. You don't need -1 to get KU. There are definitely conflicting reports about O day timing but I still always try for it anyway!
@NYTino24 Ah we're actually not cycles buddies this time! That's because I messed up my CD last time. But we're still DPO buddies this time! Also careful about the RE! They will actually see people before 6-12 months even if they aren't 35. If your doctor refers you because there is something suspected to be wrong (regardless of the reason) than that trumps the time rule! Since she's checking on a condition it's probably a different story.
@spk112 It's incredibly unlikely that you are actually 19dpo without AF. I would suspect your o date is wrong. It can happen even if you're temping. Especially if you're taking temps at inconsistent times. Chart?
@MrsN092714 Just be careful with not temping. Cycles after loss can be very unpredictable, and it is always possible in any cycle that a + OPK might not lead to O. Are you tracking any other fertile signs? Good luck.
@lboalboh Yes. It possibly looks triphasic. But don't get your hopes up. Triphasic charts can (and usually do) mean absolutely nothing. I've had several of them that have ended in BFNs. They can only be confirmed in hindsight.
@leilac Honestly. All of my hobbies are TTC related. So I can't really give you anything that will help keep your mind off of the TWW. Good luck!
@Sirius37 Ooh, pie! Yum. My post O temps are still low this cycle and I'm 6-7dpo. I changed the environment I wasn't sleeping in as well as the time I take my temp this cycle so I'm thinking it's that. Glad yours are on the way up.
HEYYY LADIES! I'm back. Well today anyway because I had off and got a lot of stuff done earlier today. This is the first time I've done replies in so long that I don't actually even know 3/4 of the people I'm replying to. It's weird.

@BitterBetty12 Yeah, I know. I've had plenty of friends who had to see an RE before 35 and before even TTC. That's why I said, "Most REs won't see you until 6-12 months of trying and / or an age closer to 35 unless there is an underlying condition." She said she has been trying for one cycle. I know that doesn't mean there couldn't be a problem. Not trying to be snarky! PS glad to see you posting!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 didn't think you were being snarky! Plus you know I love snark The reality is, an RE doesn't typically have the 6-12 month rule. That's just the rule for when a doctor will actually refer you to one. Otherwise you can technically make an appointment at any time. It would just be silly unless you had a reason to think something was wrong! Which at this point I agree with you. If she's only been off BC for two cycles, it seems crazy that her doctor thinks something is wrong already. But who knows!
And thanks. Beginning of the school year is busy. Haven't had much time to keep up unfortunately.
