WAYDTGKU: wearing BBT monitor, OPKs, charting CM, obsessive monitoring of FF data and chart patterns- that helps right??
R/R: Temps are climbing verrrry slowly, by less than I anticipated. Surprisingly if the trend keeps up tomorrow I will get my CH and move over to TWW. I'm a little concerned that I'm not seeing a bigger increase but I will trust FF
CS/Q: Nope not today
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
There are so many! I'm not necessarily a huge Bright Eyes fan but I do love the "First Day of My Life" song (and the adorable music video)
"So if you want to be with me with these things there's no telling we just have to wait and see but I'd rather be working for a paycheck than waiting to win the lottery"

WAYDTGKU: Everything. And just waiting for any sign of O
R/R: I'm assuming this will be an anovulatory cycle. That sucks. I haven't been temping since ttc DS1 so I wonder if I have been ovulating at all.
CS/Q: What's the protocol for anovulatory cycles? Is there a point at which I contact my doctor? I assume it would have to happen more than once...
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? Oh goodness. I'm not sure I can pick just one. I am a HUGE music fan and attach songs/lyrics to just about every event/memory/occasion in my life.
R/R: Welp...my chart has decided it's done looking nice. It was looking really good until 2 days ago. Now the temps are jumping around more, and then I got 1 positive OPK yesterday and a negative today (usually I get a few days of positive). No real temp spike to speak of yet. A "normal" cycle for me has positive OPK's on CD17-19, EWCM on 19, and temp spike on 20. So we'll see what happens this cycle...
CS/Q: Ugh...not really. It just isn't looking nice. Typical.
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? too many to choose from...I can't think that much in the morning
@GeorgiaWife6912 Have your cycles been fairly regular in length?? Do you have an appointment soon where you could just mention it and see when your OB would consider it problematic? Hopefully that won't be a problem and you will ovulate this cycle (ive seen some very late O's on this board) or next cycle sorry for the frustration this is causing

@PolarBear517 They aren't. They are usually 30-44 days in length with a 14 day luteal phase and 3 days of positive OPKs, ovulating on day 2. The luteal phase and OPKs have always been the same. (Yes, I know, regular til you're not.) It's not too late, obviously, but I haven't ever had a cycle past 44 days. My last 5 have been 30 days on the dot so I'm extra frustrated that this is happening on our first cycle ttc haha.
WAYDTGKU: PNVs and charting/temping while waiting for AF to fully finish.
R/R: Lost my first Fantasy Football game this season. Not that it really affects my life at all since it's just a fun league with no money up for grabs. I'm just too competitive.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? This is way too deep a question. Is it sad that nursery rhymes are all that come to mind right now?
WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, PNV, EPO, tea, mucinex, oh yeah and sex
R/R: so much fun at the wedding last night but got in the car and the zipper on my dress busted completely. At least it waited until the end and hopefully that spurs some healthy eating this week
CS/Q: nope!
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
Our wedding song was "this will be our year" by the zombies. My most vivid memory is dh singing it in my ear while we danced and the line "you don't have to worry all your worried days are gone" and though I worry with the best of them, especially TTC, I remember that song and realize we are a team and that is pretty cool

@furbabymom2007 good luck with your scan! Fx it goes well! @PolarBear517 fx for CHs! Leave and don't come back! @KhRun17 I know it's frustrating, but remember a chart doesn't "have" to be pretty! @bumpybump my husband is the same way! you should have heard him cheering on the Falcons (and Julio Jones) yesterday because he is on his FF team!
@GeorgiaWife6912 I'm sorry. That's so frustrating. I O'd at CD 31 last cycle and it drove me nuts waiting. Hang in there.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: all the stuff
R/R: Big ol temp spike today which could be because I O'd and never turned an OPK or because I woke up at 4:30 and didn't really fall back to sleep as well as I should have before temping.
My instructions are to call my nurse if I didn't get an positive OPK by CD 16 so I am anxiously waiting for the office to open so I can call. They will do b/w and u/s to see what is going on.
CS/Q: nah
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? There are so many that I love but I'm going to go with this Foreignor classic: I'm gonna take a little time, a little time to look around me I've got nowhere left to hide, it looks like love has finally found me

R/R: Its DHs birthday! I have to work late today though and I feel terrible that we wont really be celebrating. I am thinking of stopping somewhere and picking up a cake or something for him to home to. He never really cares about his birthday but I still feel bad. We will have a joint celebration (my birthday is next Tuesday) this weekend though so I guess I'm not TOTALLY neglecting him.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? Oh dang, this is a hard one! I have so many favorite songs haha Buttttttt I guess off the top of my head: "She never compromises, loves babies and surprises Wears hi-heels when she exercises Ain't that beautiful" from Meet Virginia
@bumpybump Don't get me started on my fantasy league... I did have Matt Ryan play yesterday, who threw over 500 yards and 4 TDs. I'll take that any day.
R/R: its monday and its going to be a crazy day so I may not get back till tonight.
CS/Q: I took my temp this AM and it was WAY low like 0.9 below my lowest temp this cycle. I re-took my temp right away and it was back up in the range I have been having pre-O this cycle.... I've put in the first temp but am considering switching it out. Well I guess I'll just have to wait and see since i'm on day 3 of +OPK
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? ugg I dont know... this is probably a FFC but the only thing coming to mind right now is "she thinks my tractor is sexy"
@furbabymom2007 fx for a good scan on thursday @polarbear517 sometimes its just a slow rise. Take a deep breath! fx for cross hairs tomorrow @georgiawife6912 Usually you call if 60days and no AF, and I guess if you had more than 1 anovulatory cycle it would be good to check in with your OB. Sorry your in such a holding pattern, it would drive me crazy too @khrun17 sorry your chart is all of a sudden being a TW. @bumpybump I've been thinking about you and hope your doing better today @willrunforwine21 if you have to bust a zipper, at least it was in the cab on the way home! @laurad75 fx no O yet so you can still do your IUI. is there a reason your not doing a trigger? sorry just curious... the waiting for +OPK wouldn't work well for me since I get several days in a row of + OPK

CS/Q: AF lasted 9 days this cycle!! This is my first time taking letrozole -- does anyone know if letrozole can extend AF? I was beginning to despair that it would never end.
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
Every single word of Iron & Wine's The Trapeze Swinger, but since it's 8+ minutes long, I can't post them all. Here's the beginning... "Please remember me, happily By the rosebush laughing With bruises on my chin, the time when We counted every black car passing Your house beneath the hill, and up until Someone caught us in the kitchen With maps, a mountain range, a piggy bank A vision too removed to mention So please remember me, fondly I heard from someone you're still pretty And then they went on to say that the Pearly Gates Had some eloquent graffiti Like 'We'll meet again' and 'F*** the man' And 'Tell my mother not to worry'"
@GeorgiaWife6912 FX for a late O! You already know this of course, but you're regular until you're not. Which is annoying. (I have occasional long cycles and always think, OK, I've passed what was my longest-ever cycle, something must be wrong!... and then the next day or two I'll turn an OPK and finally ovulate).
@shstephenson My DH doesn't care about his birthday either, but I'm like you and always try to do something for him.

WAYDTGKU: CP/CM (fiiiiinally getting this ish figured out), PNV, vitamin D/fish oil, HIO, OPKs
R/R: Rave: I feel like this is my first cycle where all of my fertility signs are lining up! I've had EWCM since CD13, positive OPKs for the last two days, and yesterday my cervix finally got really soft yesterday evening! It was a total "OH, so THAT'S what that feels like" moment.
(I never get tired of this gif)
Rant: that awkward moment when you pee in a cup so that you can use a Wondfo, try to set the cup on the bathtub ledge but miss and dump your own pee all over the bathroom floor.
CS/Q: since I'm a temping fail this cycle, I guess I'll move over to TWW when I stop getting positive OPKs?
WAYDTGKU: HIO E/O day, starting tomorrow, OPK, just normal stuffs.
R/R: None today... Have a tough meeting later that's not going to be pretty... so hoping that doesn't give me super anxiety for the rest of the day.
CS/Q: None!
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis is one of my all time favorite songs... so just all of the lyrics to that? LOL
Me: 33 DH: 36 Together since 2007 Happily Ever After 4.30.2015 ~~One Beautiful Daughter~~ Born: 11.6.2017 Trying for #2!!
@GeorgiaWife6912 My cycles are all over the place too and it can get so frustrating. My range is 28-46 days. It's possible some of my longer ones in the past have been anovulatory, but can't be sure. My dr. said even though my range is huge I'm still just barely within the range of normal and not to get concerned, so at least there's that. For me, managing stress and sleep seems to keep them in the 30 - 35 day range and all my very long cycles were during life changes or rough times. FX for you!
Month/Cycle: I have been counting this wrong because I'm an idiot: 4/3 NTNP and 2/2 more hardcore TTC, so total of 6 months/5 cycles
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: Lots of stuff. Got a "high" fertility reading on my OPK today, a couple days earlier than last month. It's a lot easier to get sex in when my fertile window is on a weekend because MH gets stressed at his job, but I'll take what I can get of course. Cod liver oil tastes really gross and I need to mix it in maple syrup or something this time to get it down because I gagged on it yesterday. Got pre-seed in the mail and MH is not jazzed to try it (as opposed to saliva) but hopefully it'll be cool.
R/R: Rant: see above. Rave: My niece is 8 and she just got her first (supervised) email account. She is so excited and she is emailing me all the time now. All her messages are like 4 words long with 12 cat emoticons. Which is awesome.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: I have more than one... I'll go with "Lovecats" by The Cure, but not going to take the time to type it out.
@GeorgiaWife6912 the lady I was against had Jones. His 42 pts screwed me over!!! Grr!
@wabash15 I really appreciate your thoughts. I was happy to hear my friend say she's realized they will be ok. It'll be different but she and the girls will be ok. The 17 yr old opened his eyes for the first time since the accident this morning. So good progress there too!

WAYDTGKU? PNV's, HIO, just started temping this cycle. Other things are on my radar (CP, CM, etc.) but just taking it one step at a time for now.
R/R: I've been lurking for a little while, but I decided it was time to join in (just intro'd on the newbie post!) I've learned a lot (and had a lot of laughs) lurking, so I am excited to interact with you all and learn a lot more!
CS/Q: I tried temping back in August and gave up after 2 days (HA) but I just started temping again this cycle and am a bit more motivated this time, so no questions yet...
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
I'm with @GeorgiaWife6912 in that it's nearly impossible to pick a favorite, I attach music and lyrics to sooo many experiences and memories. But this is one of my favorites: "God knows that we've been naive, And a bit near-sighted to say the least, but it's broken glass at children's feet, It gets swept aside, unexpectedly." Sleeping At Last - Naive
@hartmich I spotted your Sleeping At Last lyric!! I had actually just listened to that song when I read it! I haven't met too many others who had even heard of him, so that was pretty cool.

@GeorgiaWife6912 I was wondering the same thing about this

never ending mountain range! I typically have short cycles (24 days max) so I'm
completely in uncharted waters. I’m interested in what suggestions you

My rant is that our fridge is on the fritz It stopped cooling over the weekend, and the earliest appointment we could get for a repairman is tomorrow. We had to dump everything yesterday so I'm dreading trying to put a lunch together in the next hour.
CS/Q: Not right now.
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
I'm a huge Stevie Nicks fan, so I'll pull from one of her lesser known songs, Lady from the Mountains - "Like a candle/burns bright/wants to burn faster/well maybe then at least/she really feels." I've never been one to do anything halfway (I doubt most of us on this forum are), so that sentiment of burning bright until you're almost burnt out but at least feeling alive while you're doing it has always spoken to me.

@shstephenson - excuse me, what?! A 2 day period! You lucky girl! @wabash15 - that's a super weird jump in temp! Good luck. On the plus side of figuring out my chart - I always wake up before DH and when I went to make the bed after he left, I learned he had thrown an extra blanket on. Last time I had that extra blanket on, temps were up. So that explains the weird temps...but not the odd single positive OPK. @LuND - HOORAH for all signs lining up! That's the best! @vflux33 - what a cute niece! That's adorable that she's emailing you...especially with all the emoji's. Too sweet. @Kat0607 - welcome! We're excited to have you joining the boards and hope your stay is short!

R/R: I am all raves today, because they are just so much better than anything I have to rant about. Soooo, this weekend we found out that H's best friend is getting married, and my uncle called to tell us last night that he and his girlfriend are getting married... On the 22nd!!! I am very excited for both couples.
Also, at dinner last night my sil inspired me not to give up hope for this job I've been trying to get (I haven't heard anything yet) and to keep pestering them (politely and with reasonable delays, of course) because they're a large corporation and it's easy to get caught in the fold. That's helped lift my spirits a bit.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? This isn't a lyric, but I love Adele's One and Only, and it's been particularly relevant the last couple of days due to my Rave.
@vflux33I love that your niece is emailing you!! Occasionally my sister lets my niece (also 8) text me from my sister's phone and she uses allllll of the emojis. Once there was a ton of the battery and plug emojis. Girlfriend had a real thing for electricty that day. But it makes my life when she does, because its adorable.
R/R: There was a ten minute sudden downpour yesterday afternoon and it was so awesome! GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
i couldn't say, I listen to books more than anything lol
CD: 23
"So if you want to be with me
with these things there's no telling
we just have to wait and see
but I'd rather be working for a paycheck
than waiting to win the lottery"

This is way too deep a question. Is it sad that nursery rhymes are all that come to mind right now?
@PolarBear517 FX for crosshairs tomorrow!
@GeorgiaWife6912 no experience with an anovulatory cycle but sending hugs your way.
@KhRun17 hopefully your chart and body will get back on track to looking all nice and you O soon.

My instructions are to call my nurse if I didn't get an positive OPK by CD 16 so I am anxiously waiting for the office to open so I can call. They will do b/w and u/s to see what is going on.

GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics? There are so many that I love but I'm going to go with this Foreignor classic:

CS/Q: AF lasted 9 days this cycle!! This is my first time taking letrozole -- does anyone know if letrozole can extend AF? I was beginning to despair that it would never end.
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
"Please remember me, happily
By the rosebush laughing
With bruises on my chin, the time when
We counted every black car passing
Your house beneath the hill, and up until
Someone caught us in the kitchen
With maps, a mountain range, a piggy bank
A vision too removed to mention
So please remember me, fondly
I heard from someone you're still pretty
And then they went on to say that the Pearly Gates
Had some eloquent graffiti
Like 'We'll meet again' and 'F*** the man'
And 'Tell my mother not to worry'"
@GeorgiaWife6912 FX for a late O! You already know this of course, but you're regular until you're not. Which is annoying. (I have occasional long cycles and always think, OK, I've passed what was my longest-ever cycle, something must be wrong!... and then the next day or two I'll turn an OPK and finally ovulate).

Rant: that awkward moment when you pee in a cup so that you can use a Wondfo, try to set the cup on the bathtub ledge but miss and dump your own pee all over the bathroom floor.

But this is one of my favorites:
"God knows that we've been naive,
And a bit near-sighted to say the least,
but it's broken glass at children's feet,
It gets swept aside, unexpectedly."
Sleeping At Last - Naive
@hartmich I spotted your Sleeping At Last lyric!! I had actually just listened to that song when I read it! I haven't met too many others who had even heard of him, so that was pretty cool.

@GeorgiaWife6912 I was wondering the same thing about this cycle for myself (anovulatory). I have been temping and it just looks like a never ending mountain range! I typically have short cycles (24 days max) so I'm completely in uncharted waters. I’m interested in what suggestions you get.

You let yourself get mad

The woman I adore
You can relax
Because, babe, I got your back

CS/Q: Not right now.
GTKY: What is one of your favorite song lyrics?
I'm a huge Stevie Nicks fan, so I'll pull from one of her lesser known songs, Lady from the Mountains - "Like a candle/burns bright/wants to burn faster/well maybe then at least/she really feels." I've never been one to do anything halfway (I doubt most of us on this forum are), so that sentiment of burning bright until you're almost burnt out but at least feeling alive while you're doing it has always spoken to me.

My soul will rest in your embrace,
For I am yours, and you are mind.
