How many weeks? 29 weeks--I can't believe it.

What size is baby? Acorn squash, cotton tail rabbit!

Upcoming appointments? BP checkup.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I never understood why some stores had Christmas decorations and a few months before Christmas, but now that I'm expecting a Christmas baby, I totally get it and I am thankful for the chance to get stuff early!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I've been furiously cleaning my house. It's not even a pigsty or anything--I just have this overwhelming urge to declutter and clean.

GTKY: Do you love October? Do you think all things pumpkin are overrated?! I LOVE October--the weather, the fairs, the food, Halloween...! Admittedly I am not much of a pumpkin-flavor person. I love the scent, but eating pumpkin things is not my bag, baby.

28 weeks - 3rd tri What what?????

What size is baby?

A tropical coconut, an echidna, a rollerblade...none of these things is sounding comfortable to birth.

Upcoming appointments?

Midwife check up on Wednesday. Got my GD screening results back last week and everything looked good; though they said my iron was slightly low. It's never been low previously, so I'm going to eat a ton of iron-fortified foods before adding, yet another, supplement to my diet.

Rants/Raves/Questions?

Last pregnancy, 3rd tri hit me like a mac truck, so I'm on the lookout for anything that's going to knock me back hard. But at the moment, I'm feeling pretty good.

YAAAAAY October! I love the weather! I love horror movies! I love the feel of impending winter! And yes, I will indulge on some pumpkin things mmmmm.

ETA: How is the BP issue going @dmontgo? Has it improved it all?

I always post that meme from Mean Girls on some Social Media platform each October 3rd.

How many weeks? 30 weeks!

What size is baby? Brie en Brioche, summer cantaloupe, motorcycle helmet, platypus (minus the tail), cabbage, length of a zucchini (which reminds me that my mom just made me some fresh zucchini bread yesterday morning!)

Upcoming appointments? Every other week appointment starts this week, which I have tomorrow afternoon.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Besides upping my water intake, icing my feet/ankles, epsom salt in lukewarm water, wearing compression socks, limiting salt and just eating better in general... any other things I should try to reduce my swelling? It did get better last week for a few days, but then got bad again and have continued since.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Swollen feet, which has also now moved to my hands. My wedding ring has not been worn since Friday. I have been wearing my stand-in ring that I wore for our honeymoon 1.5 years ago, which was always big so I needed a sizer for it to fit right. Well... it's almost too tight now. So that's awesome! It also makes working out at the gym tough when I can't even fit into my already wide feet shoes... so I am limited to at home stuff, which isn't bad but I want to do more.

GTKY: Do you love October? Do you think all things pumpkin are overrated?! I do love October... but more so now cos it's my wedding anniversary month (17th)! However, I have always loved Fall and October was that fun transition in my region between September's end of summer hot days and November's colder days. Plus, the colors and that crisp air always remind me of good things. I will admit that some things should not be pumpkin flavored, but I do love everything pumpkin. I just limit myself to what I have always ate involving pumpkin and leave the weird stuff alone... as it probably doesn't need it anyway.

BUT, I have been drinking PSL's since they first came out in 2004 and have introduced MANY to them over the years. At first it was the frapps, now it's straight on latte's. I always get them skinny. About 10 years ago, an ex of mine had ordered one after we had broken up and he emailed me and was like, it tasted different. I asked him what milk he had in it, he said that he never specified and I told him that was probably why as I always got skim when I'd order for us both and adding different milk can alter the taste. So basic! *lol*

Not baby related, but I PASSED MY REAL ESTATE LICENSING EXAM!!!! I'm reporting to an actual office today for the first time in months!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
More heartburn and hip pain, but nothing to complain about really... I know it'll get worse before it gets better so I am trying to remain grateful that I'm feeling as good as I am

October is by far my favorite month! And I like - but do not love - pumpkin. I bought pumpkin cookies and they were delicious. I would not buy pumpkin coffee... not a big fan.

@LinziLoo09 It has improved, but it seems the upper number has made more strides than the lower number. So before when I had a 150/99, now it will go from 128/96 to 145/99 or sometimes 130/86, which is the lowest the bottom number has gotten so far. They don't want to increase my dose (it would 4x a day + Labetlol) yet because they don't want to get the top number too low. I feel pretty good, so I'm trying not to worry too much about the lower number--I figure if they're not worried I guess I'm OK for now. Upping my water to make sure I'm not dehydrated, and fingers crossed it doesn't get worse.

Finished the nursery this weekend, so glad to be done with that.
I have not one but two nails in one of my tires. Waiting til DH gets home to drop the car off cause I'm not sitting at an auto shop all day. NOTHANKYOU.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
I promised DH I would make his chili yetsterday. I love chili, but not the way DH likes it. So it was kind of a disappointment.

I love apple cider. It is my number one drink of choice. I love most fall things, but I also dread winter. Hopefully I won't feel the same way this year!

Feeling blue overall. I need to get out of the funk.

Also feeling quite easily annoyed by other people.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Swelling is still the same that it's been since week 16 - at least it's under control. I've been going to walks regularly and really starting to really feel the fact that I'm so off-balanced. I've also been easily drinking about 6 liters of water per day. I'm not blatantly attempting to overdo it, I'm just that thirsty.

GTKY: Do you love October? Do you think all things pumpkin are overrated?!
I love October! I enjoy every change of season, but this one is by far my favorite. I love pumpkin flavored things as long as they're appropriate/dessert.

A bunch of random things that are not anywhere near the same size. Lol. I'm sticking to the facts. 16 inches long and 2.5 to 3.3 LBS.

I'm super excited for my baby shower next weekend. I'm really hoping it makes this all "real" for me. I'm having a hard time actually envisioning this ending with a baby!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Nothing too terrible. Still lots and lots of peeing! I'm starting to get a little uncomfortable at the end of the day. I'm good until about 8 or so and then I just feel sore and run down.

I love fall. I am in Wisconsin and we have very distinct seasons. I love the fall colors that are starting and the crisp air and football. I like pumpkin scented items and pies, breads, muffins, cakes. But for some reason can't get into PSLs. I WANT to like them. They smell delicious and I don't hate them, but I always wish I'd gotten a peppermint mocha instead.

Love! October is my favorite because it means summer has died down and I can wear sweaters.

Mobile bumping, format funky.

How many weeks? 31 I don't believe it anymore.

What size is baby? Asparagus says the bump but she feels bigger in my belly.

Upcoming appointments? Not until 2 weeks from now at 33 weeks, which seems way too far apart.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm highly irritable today. Question: is it normal around now for doc to do an US or even feel around and find out baby's position? Mine hasn't and I'm scared my baby is breech. I swear I feel her hands opening and closing up near my ribs. I was breech in my mom. I feel like my 33 week appointment will be too late to try to naturally turn her. Am I crazy? Or worrying to much per the usual?

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I put DOWN some fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy tonight. As I was eating like an animal I thought, I should cut this out in front of DH so we can have sex again some day.

GTKY: Do you love October? Do you think all things pumpkin are overrated?! I really like fall parties, clothing and hair colors. I do love going to pumpkin patches for feeling nostalgic. My family used to own a patch. Not as fun without kids but...that will change here quickly!!!
