@NamelessAria Your post made me teary this morning. I'm so happy for you. You deserve the stickiest baby and happiest 9 momths. I so truly hope this is your take-home baby.
@NamelessAria I am so beyond happy and excited for you. I will give you ALL of my thoughts and prayers that this is your take home baby! You have been such a tremendous help to all the ladies on this board and I have been waiting for the day for you to get your BFP! I don't know you personally, but I have so many happy tears rolling down my face for you! Congratulations! Will you be joining a BMB? I may need to stalk your journey.
At the risk of being horribly embarrassed/flamed, I have a question. You said cut out folic acid and I'm confused as to why. I tried googling but didn't find anything. Sorry if this doesn't belong here!
@Mother0fDragons@swanbrooner@NamelessAria I wish you guys a very healthy and happy 9 months. Enjoy all craziness of pregnancy and can only pray you all end up with a beautiful healthy little squish in your arms this following summer! Congrats to you all!

@Dilynne I cut out folic acid because I have 2 defective copies of the MTHFR gene. With the mutation I have (C677T homozygous) my body has about a 70% reduction in its ability to process Folic Acid and Cyanocobalamin (B12). Folic Acid has higher binding affinity than folate though so if you have both available for binding the folic acid will bind. Because the folic acid is taking up binding spots it prevents me from being able to bind folate and use it. So I just end up chronically deficient in folic acid/folate. Same type thing with Cyanocobalamin vs. Methylcobalamin.
If you don't have one of the MTHFR gene mutations then it probably wouldn't benefit you to cut folic acid and supplement with L-methylfolate instead. And honestly, folic acid is just a lot cheaper.

Another rule breaker here...everyone here deserves their BFP, and I wish for that for every single one of us. But having had one loss myself, I too am crying happy tears for you, @NamelessAria. After six(!!!), I cannot even imagine how you must be feeling, how hard optimism is. I have FX so hard that you've found the culprit of your anguish, and that this in your sweet rainbow. HH9 to you, and to you both @swanbrooner and @Mother0fDragons.
To the rest of us continuing this difficult struggle, may this give us all hope...

@Sugargirl1019 I'm not sure if I included it when I originally discussed what my RE found during testing. There was this whole thing that had happened where the lab I was using (lab corp) released records to me a couple of days after they sent them to my RE's office. And apparently between when my RE got a copy of the results and when I got a copy a couple more tests had came in. So I had the results for the MTHFR test but my RE didn't. He was hesitant to diagnose MTHFR without having it on his copy of the results. I didn't hear back from the office about the rest of the test results till about a week ago. Which, WTF? And apparently they finally got it on their copy of the results.
@DungeonTrollMel My RE said something about how maybe I should be taking aspirin but it was "less important" or something. I don't know he was really vague about it. It's good to know that you and @Sugargirl1019 were advised to take it. Knowing that I'll definitely take it. Anything I can do to increase my odds of this being my take-home baby I'm definitely all about doing! Thank you for taking the time to mention that.

Jumping in here from the TTTC board @NamelessAria there is a great facebook group for women who are MTHFR and pregnant if you are not already a part of it. What were you doing TGKU? Temping, OPKs, charting on FF and HIO
How was your timing? -2,-1,O
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Fatigue, irritability
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I left the +HPT on the sink. I will tell my Mr that I forgot my phone, would he go get it for me when he gets home
Anything else to add? I was caught by surprise with the +HPT because I O'd on CD 20... Seemed like a too short luteal phase and too early for a +
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 2/1 – Had my IUD
out 8/9 and waited a cycle before we started trying.
What were you doing TGKU? OPKs but I actually never got a
positive which is why I am guessing at when I ovulated based on CM and I think
I had some ovulation pain
How was your timing? EOD
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns
welcome)? Just a little emotional
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I told him yesterday
on our four year wedding anniversary. When he got home DS was wearing a “big
brother” shirt and I wrote in his card “happy anniversary from the three of us”.
Anything else to add? Just a big thank you to everyone for
being so supportive, even in my short stay here. I am wishing you all the best,
you are all so deserving of becoming mommies/having another child.
