I talked in detail in WTF board from yesterday about my cat's sudden illness/injury. I don't want to co-opt that board however. My cat is not well. I'm trying to be optimistic that she just needs to rest, but SO has had a pet in her condition before and he is very worried about her. His morose attitude + my pregnancy hormones makes everything about today suck. It's a good thing I have yoga at 6 tonight. Maybe I can get out of my head for a bit.

Still no tears and not highly emotional. I've been a crying mess for the last 4 years since I was first pregnant with my son and ever since, so I really hope my husband appreciates this.

Dropped my new patient forms off at the OBGYN this morning and was told I would have to wait for a call from a nurse to set up my first appointment. I explained my concerns with the symptoms I've been having and that I was out of the country (and thus couldn't get my appointment set up earlier), but she said they'd still do a normal first appt and go from there. Once I got into my car, I started balling. All these periods of waiting and not knowing what's going on are stressing me out!

@starphish18 oh no! I bawled when I ran over one too. It was actually the day I had to take in my pet rat in to be euthanized so that didnt help matters. I hope tomorrow is much better

I teared up yesterday when talking to a 16 year old in the office about how drinking and driving isn't worth it and how even though I barely know them, his parents would much rather hear from him at 2 am to be picked up than from the coroner, cops, or the ER. He probably thought I was losing my mind.

@Shopaholic I think the front desk lady didn't seem overly concerned because my symptoms happened a week ago. If I would have been in the US, I definitely would have gone to the hospital right away. Being in a foreign country complicated that. I'm hoping if she wasn't too concerned, I shouldn't be either.

@pshaortao Aw, sorry about your rat! I used to have pet rats, too. Love them so much.

The restaurant was out of mashed potatoes. I was half crying and half laughing at myself for being so ridiculous. Mashed potatoes? Really?

Need to get ahold of myself! This is my first pregnancy, so I was kind of shocked at my reaction.

I cried when they gave my son his shots at his last appointment. He looked at me with such a sad face and was crying so hard I couldn't contain myself. I was like yup im pregnant so I took him and I out to chick fill a to make up for it.

Oh good. They're getting me in Monday for an early ultrasound to check things out. I'm guessing the receptionist didn't want to make any promises, but the nurse seemed very proactive in getting me checked. And my intake will be Thursday! *breathes a sigh of relief*

@candyj9 I'm sure I'll be doing plenty of crying over food. I don't blame you one bit.

I cried inside target because the family door was locked and my daughter was in a shopping cart and I wanted to bring the car into the family bathroom. Turns out the door is broken. I left in a rage after talking to the manager. I left without going to the bathroom and without getting what I need.

It was good! I definitely added it to my DVR list. It reminds me of Parenthood, so if you watched that and liked it you'll like this one. I have a few friends that have all liked it so far!

Umm...I cried because I forgot to organize my shopping list before I got to the store. And then I cried because I was overwhelmed by the tea selection. Then I got home and my husband looked at me. So of course I cried again. That was by far the craziest day of crying I've ever had in my life.

My mom lives really far away and she can't drive due to her health. The poor woman has to rely on public transportation to get around. The bus system is changing their schedule so now my mom will have to get picked up at 8:30am and won't get home until 4pm. I feel so bad that my poor mom will be sitting around a bus stop in downtown Shelton in the rain waiting for a bus.

Update:
My husband and I were at dinner tonight (I don't think I'll be eating Mexican food the rest of my pregnancy-bleh!) and we were talking about who we want to be with us during delivery. I said that I want my MIL there because she had five kids and I really thought her presence would make me feel strong at a scary time. I got all teary-eyed and DH thought it was the sweetest thing.

So I was just watching Say yes to the dress and there was this girl who I think was a nurse marrying a soldier and she had a very tight budget and first the consultants persuaded the ship to drop the price $400 under her limit and then when the veil wouldn't fit the budget they split the delta between the two of them. It was just so sweet.

I watched Hillary Clinton giving a speech and started to tear up when she hugged a little girl. I don't even care for her too much nor was the moment really all that touching. I've also been having a lot of symptoms today, so I know all of the pregnancy hormones must be raging.

I nearly cried this morning during daycare drop off of my son when one of the workers congratulated me on the pregnancy (we told the director on Friday so we could hold a spot for the new babe...Boston childcare availability is no joke). I am SO not an emotional person, so when things like that happen, I'm like WTF??

I got pizza for dinner because I was craving it and my husband decided to eat something else. When it was time to eat he told me to go ahead because he wasn't that hungry yet. I don't know what happened but I started wailing and crying like no tomorrow! When he asked me why I was crying I screamed, "We always eat together!!" and started hiccuping!
