WTO Saturday 10/1

Re: WTO Saturday 10/1

  • @LuND I had a dream that I had EWCM last night. It's way too early in my cycle for it but maybe that means I'll get it this month. My MIL is really superstitious about stuff like that and says people will blue eyes tend to dream about things to come...idk about that but I did also dream my BFN the night before I got it last cycle.

R/R: Rant-Just waiting on AF to leave.  Can't believe I'm on cycle 8.  I was so naive in the beginning when I thought I would get ktfu so much sooner.
Rave-I'm almost done crocheting a beautiful baby blanket for hopefully the day when I finally get to be a mommy.  I have been working on it for months and all it needs left is the border and then it's completely finished.

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY: If you were an animal, what would you be and why? A butterfly.  I would love to fly around all day and see the world from a different perspective.

WAYDTGKU: All. the. things. and then some.

R/R: I'm WAY late to the game today. I was helping my parents move, all day. Anyways... So I was a cocky bitch yesterday with one high temp I was all like "I've ovulated" of course this morning I had a low temp. I can't make sense of my crazy cycles. UGH. DH and I are both to tired from all the moving today to BD and I'm in a bad mood about. DH says I'm bitter and I say,

    CS/Q: no.

GTKY: If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
A dolphin- they are playful, intelligent and I love to swim and I hope I would be one that ovulates normally. Fuck, I am bitter today.

  • @purplg8r Well the reason I mention it is because with the coverline FF gave you in your chart last month, your temps are all right around the coverline, which could make you nervous about low progesterone or something weird going on. I think your coverline is artificially low because of two temps (one open circle) and in fact your post-O temps are all fine. With this revised coverline, you are likelier to have ovulated the day before. Again -- none of this matters at all since it's last month, but just wanted to give my two cents and definitely reassure you in case you think your temps are too close to the coverline. Regarding BD, either today or tomorrow should be fine! (Or both!)

@slavenski OMG I'm so thrilled to see you back! Glad to hear you guys had a good talk and made this decision and you're so happy. About the vitamins, I have no idea but my doctor told me it's impossible to take too much so I guess don't worry about it? haha.

    @LuND Yay EWCM!

CS/Q: ETA: Actually I do have a question for my fellow B-Complex users -- forgive me, but I can't remember all of the ladies who are taking it to lengthen your LP...but those who are, did you find it helped? And did anyone find it delayed their O? I've read some thing online about it delaying O and Lord knows I don't need my O delayed any longer than it already is. I just started 100mg this cycle and plan to take it all month.

GTKY: If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
A bird so I could fly!
  • @travelingcouple So sorry for cd1 and cycle 12 :( I hope this one's the one! I take a B complex to lengthen my luteal phase and it has not worked so far (started mid-cycle 2, I'm now in cycle 5). But I haven't noticed a delay in O either... Off to that google rabbit hole now...

  • Welp, I think I need to bench myself. I was supposed to O on my last day in Thailand but 2 days prior, I woke up with a rash, sore muscles, and a cold (all zika symptoms) after I was eaten alive by bugs. Got back home today and went to a doc, can't get a zika test until Monday and supposedly they take up to 3 weeks to get results. We got -3 day timing before O so I'm either hoping I'm not pregnant if I do have zika, or hoping that -3 was enough to get me KU if I don't have zika.

@haylsbayls I so hope your Zika tests are negative!  I think you're being smart to wait it out until you find out.

  • @haylsbayls I was told our docs won't test for Zika unless pregnancy is confirmed OR you pay $500 out of pocket AND there is a month or so before results would come back. I'm glad you can get tested, but I hope you don't have it! Praying for you!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @haylsbayls I'm so sorry to hear about this! Is Thailand an active transmission area? The country isn't listed on the CDC's page so I wasn't sure if you are hearing differently locally. https://www.cdc.gov/zika/geo/active-countries.html

Of course you should make the decision you are most comfortable with but maybe you're safe from zika?

  • Thanks everyone!

@adirat yeah, we thought Thailand was safe! There's been a few cases in the country but with the amount of bug bites I got, combined with the rash/sore muscles/ and cold, I figured I should be better safe than sorry. I would have chalked the sore muscles and cold up to traveling but the rash is what set me over the edge to get tested.

@NYTino24 I was able to the the prescription from an urgent care and have to go to the dept of health on Monday to get the test. I have no idea if I'll have to pay out of pocket but I figure $500 is worth not having to make a tough decision down the road if I get pregnant with zika :( the long wait for the results sucks though!

also if I wasn't TTC, then I wouldn't worry about it but obviously better safe than sorry when it comes to these things!
