@bumpybump I am sorry you had such a rough night. Find something little to make you happy today and don't feel guilty about it for one second. Take the time you need to be sad and be extra kind to yourself.
@hartmich hoping you see that temp jump to confirm O! Assuming you did, how's your timing?
@hupp0013 Enjoy your kid free weekend! And good luck with your race.

@hupp0013 I had a similar family necklace I wore and it was definitely my favorite. It was my great grandmother's on my father's mother's side. Nana was born around the 1880's, so it's very old. But it's a beautiful opal necklace that hangs down a little. Every Aunt and cousin so far has worn it. Even the ladies marrying into the family. So it's been worn at about 14 weddings so far, there are a few left still. It's a really special tradition, that I hope continues on for generations.
WAYDTGKU: temping, sex more than EOD now (not quite ED, but more than EOD)
R/R: went to a book club last night, and the topic of babies came up, obviously...it's a group of 20 something women.. and they all voted me as the one to have a baby for the group because I've been married the longest (4 years) and we just bought our own place. TW loss: But nothing compared to when my friend was talking about plans for the fall break, and asked what we were doing, and I was like, "oh nothing, maybe a few day trips, but mostly ..." and she cut me off to joke " mostly planning for the baby, right?" and I was like "yea...wait, no..." (I didn't realize she said it until after I said ya because she talks super fast when she jokes)...and it just stung because we WERE supposed to be getting ready for the baby on our break This is a friend I actually want to tell about the loss, but I never want to do it close to when she's made a joke about babies because I don't want her to feel bad because I know she means no harm /TW
CS/Q: nope, but I've got EWCM now, 5 days earlier than I got it last cycle, so I hope that's a good sign!
GTKU: What was your favorite detail from your wedding (I wanna see pictures!) or what detail do you look the most forward to? my dress lace princess cut- but no pics, cuz what if people know me? I put way too much about our sex life on here for that.

@BrambleRose H just really likes Spiderman and I didn't want to do a separate groom's cake, so I was Pinterest-inspired to hide Spiderman on the cake! P.S. Your pic is gorgeous, what a beautiful location.
@MrsN092714 Timing would be alright, not great. I was playing around with temps in FF and I'm pretty sure that this wasn't O, just a weird spike. My temp would have to stay the same or go even higher to get CH, so I guess we'll see. I just don't feel like other symptoms were lining up enough.
WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, DHA, Maca, cm/cp, green tea, feminine balance tea, OPKs, preseed, got in some BD'ing finally!
R/R: Yesterday I was a little nervous I wasn't going to O at my usual time (ie: thought I might have had a false surge because I had all the signs of O but no temp shift yet)....which wouldn't be a big deal except that I was wondering if I would at all or when it would be if it was delayed (since DH has to go OOT again soon). BUT!!! Was very excited when I checked my temp this morning and had a huge spike So I'm hoping for more high temps to come and then we'd actually have a SHOT this cycle! WAYDTGKU: Losing weight. Thyroid medicine. Kind of benched.
R/R: I started temping again. Two days statistics in the middle of my cycle. Though I feel like I can safely say I didn't ovulate. My two temps were 96.4 and 96.8. Now, I have never ovulated so I can't be certain, but when I'm on provera my temps are in the mid-low 97s. So, I'm thinking nothing. That's okay, I'm not expecting it. Just getting back into the habit, and so I can observe the data.
I'm waiting for news on my friend's pregnancy and it's driving me crazy. They're doing another ultrasound today... ugh. Okay, I won't talk about her anymore after this XD because this is a place for TTC and not her. XD
CS/Q: Does anyone else take synthroid or its generic? Did you lose weight like super fast? I ate poorly for three weeks and didn't get on the scale because it would be detrimental to my emotional well being. But I've been taking the medicine for a week now and eating right for three (or four?) days now. So I weighed myself and I weigh less than before I started eating poorly. Like a pound less, so not much. But WAY better than I expected.
GTKU: Hm. My wedding was such a blur. But I think my favorite thing was the symbolism I incorporated into the ceremony. I had my mother and my husband's mother come down the aisle together and light our individual candles, symbolizing them giving us our lives and us living before each other. The we lit the unity candle with our individual candles and then blew them out, symbolizing our lives joining together. Which is pretty standard for unity candles I guess, but I love the symbolism and everyone around me acted like it was crazy.

Crossing my fingers that O holds out until Tuesday, or even better Wednesday, so we can get some decent timing in. I jumped OH when I went for our conjugal visit last night, but I suspect that will be too early. It was fun, though!!

GTKY: My favorite detail will be the whole not having a wedding thing. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE other people's weddings, and all of you had such beautiful pics! But between both of us being over 40 and my not loving the whole spotlight thing, eloping just suits us. Also, our families are on both sides of the country and getting everyone together would be a big challenge. I do intend to wear a tea length wedding dress, and probably a bird cage, and I want him to wear a suit. I'd love DSS to be there, if we can swing it. And I think if I have enough advance notice, I'll make myself a brooch bouquet. But that's about it.

@deadasthatsquirrel My mom made the guy's boutineers and each GM's speech bubbles said something different. But she kept DH's a secret so when I got to the front of the chapel next to him I saw that his said "Love you, Always will" It was such a sweet surprise!
@GeorgiaWife12 It is a small world! I bet Blairsville was gorgeous! I wish I could live in the North GA Mountains. Maybe some day...
@Mythril That's great that it's working so fast for you! I take Levoxyl (I have also taken synthroid and generic levothyroxine but levoxyl works the best for me). It actually took me a few months to lose weight -- probably two months before I felt any difference. I knew it was working because my other symptoms started to subside (my hair got thicker, nails stronger, felt less tired, felt less cold, and of course my numbers improved) but once I started losing weight, I lost about 15 pounds in three months eating and exercising the same as I had been before. So I think it can happen fast!
Aurora1973 and @Mrs_Jp I'm not into the spotlight either and sometimes I wish we had just eloped and been true to myself and my anti-spotlightness. Weddings are so expensive and they suck up SO much time and I wish I had the time and money back now. But between thinking I may regret it and the family stuff it just kinda happened. Some great moments, but nothing compared to actually being married, which I love so much more than I loved my wedding. I actually like other people's weddings way better because I can just relax and enjoy the ride instead of wondering "did that turn out OK?", "Is my dress falling?", "Am I wearing too much make-up?", "Will everyone hate the other people at their table?"
Loving everyone's wedding photos! I bloody love weddings!

@bumpybump I'm so sorry. This is such a hard time. All the creepy internet hugs to you!!
@KhRun17 your librarian and my cashier are probably best friends. I bought pre-seed the other day and the cashier was like, "Oh my husband hates this stuff." and I was speechless, because what do you say to a stranger about their husbands hate for lube. Reasons like this is why I love online shopping.
@GeorgiaWife6912 congrats on EWCM! O is on the way! And I would count the sex as last night because then you slept all night. That's my logic lol.
@CallaLily25 that cake is gorgeous!! Was it as delicious as it looked?
@laurad75- the first step is admitting you are addicted to peeing on sticks lol I too am a crazy tester and also hide the evidence. Hope you get the positive soon!
@Dilynne that sucks about your car! Awesome cake topper!
@motherhubbard19 your wedding pics are gorgeous! So sentimental and special!
I hate being so late to the game! I had a doctors appointment this morning (see r/r), so I'm just now getting the chance to bump. Sorry if I post and ghost... I'll try to come back and comment on all of the beautiful wedding pics!!!
Month/Cycle: 2/3
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: most of the non-medicated things. Although temping seems to be a bust this cycle.
R/R: I'm positive for the BRCA1 gene, which means I have a very high risk of breast and ovarian cancer. So, I have to go for MRIs or mammograms once every 6 months. This morning was my first mammogram, super fun! Now I'm all worried that it landed on CD12 and blasted my follicles and/or egg with radiation. The tech had me wear the lead apron because I told her we're TTC, but I'm still concerned. I didn't want to put it off since you can't have a mammo or MRI if you're KU.....and obviously I don't want to risk missing a mass because I'm KU.
Also ***TW*** I just found out yesterday that my good friend and his wife are expecting! This is fantastic news because they've been actively trying for about 6 years and had been through multiple IUIs. They were planning to do IVF very soon, but they ended up getting KU completely on their own! I'm SO thrilled for them and they're going to be amazing parents. ***end TW***
CS/Q: Just hoping that my mammo didn't destroy my follicles or egg
GTKU: What was your favorite detail from your wedding (I wanna see pictures!) or what detail do you look the most forward to? We got married on the beach in Jamaica and the sunset was amazing!
@buthayana Creepy interntet hugs. I'm sorry you were put in an awkward position last night. @Lund your follicles/eggs should be fine. In terms of x-ray radiation its more long term high level exposure that they worry about. If they had you wear a lead apron you're fine.

@LuND That's so wonderful for your friends! Gives me so much hope to hear people try for years and are finally successful I think if you wore the apron, you shouldn't worry about the radiation on your follicles at all. Lead doesn't let those waves get through. (Source: my husband is a physicist)
@bumpybump I'm so sorry. *creepy internet hugs* I hope you feel better today! @RunRestRepeat What a great photo! @manillabar Thank you! And that makes me feel better. The cramping has actually stopped as of right now. I tried to Google it, but of course all I get is crazy symptom spotters who say that it's early pregnancy signs (I know it's not). @Dilynne Thank you! And I'm really sorry about your car @vflux33 Thank you! Your upside down bouquet sounds awesome! @adirat Yes, it was what I would classify as "sticky" I think? Maybe TMI, but kind of like little boogers. A hint of a little moisture around it, but not slippery like the day before. I do need to stop stressing and learn to trust my body. I think after this 2nd cycle off BC, it'll be a little easier for me to do that. @KhRun17 Thank you! @hartmich It was delicious! lol And two of the layers were actually dark purple velvet (instead of red velvet) to match our wedding colors. @wabash15 Thank you! And I'm glad to know I'm not going crazy thinking I'm cramping. I was so set on "no you are supposed to cramp BEFORE ovulation" that I don't think about how sometimes bodies don't necessarily do what they are "supposed" to do. @Sugargirl1019 Thank you! Your veil is to die for! Stunning! @jeg07 Thank you! @maebee87 Yes! It was delicious, and I'm looking forward to eating it again on our upcoming first anniversary in November. There was "purple velvet," chocolate with ganache and raspberry filling, and vanilla with fudge and cannoli filling. @BrambleRose Thank you! @britters314 You are definitely right. I am stressing myself out way too much over this. My DH tells me that all the time lol. I need to breathe and trust my temps! I may take a temping break after 6 DPO this cycle.
@bumpybump so sorry you had a rough night I hope you're able to find some peace soon
@leekat14 aw, I love that your 96 year old grandpa was a special part of your day
@PolarBear517 I love that pic! It really speaks to you and YH's connection. And, my DH and I also sometimes celebrate the anniversary of when we started dating/met too. We met on St. Patty's Day, and who doesn't like any extra reason to drink good beer?
Aw thanks @JDW0325 it was one of the first things I bought when wedding planning! I'm fairly certain I purchased it even before my wedding dress! It caught my eye at a wedding show and I just knew I'd wear it on our wedding day, I had to get it right away!
I am in love with everyone's wedding photos; there are some creative ladies on here! Share your super power with me.

WAYDTGKU: Temping, HIO, done with OPKs....I think
R/R: Jeesum, work has been so insane the last few days! Point in fact: I am literally camped out in a Walmart parking lot right now on my way back from running errands so I can have a moment of peace to write this. I am looking forward to the weekend... as long as nothing pops up to send me out of town that is. DH is going out of town this weekend with his dad and BIL to start setting up a cabin his dad just bought on a lake, so I'm going traveling to go see my family. Also, one more day of high-risk temps and I'll FINALLY have CHs! Freaking ballin'!

GTKU: What was your favorite detail from your wedding (I wanna see pictures!) or what detail do you look the most forward to? I loved so many things about my wedding, but I think I adored the location most of all. It was a full-on rainstorm until about 30 minutes before our wedding and then the skies cleared up and it just ended up being a beautiful day.
R/R: Rant: raging beast in me comes out with Clomid, not so great feeling. Def need a break. Rave: going to see my favorite artist in concert Sunday and lunch with the girls Sat.
CS/Q: first time charting. It was a little higher today but negative opk.
GTKU: What was your favorite detail from your wedding (I wanna see pictures!) or what detail do you look the most forward to? My hubby grabbed my arm awkwardly to walk me down the aisle at the Paris hotel in Vegas. It was cute and funny. Ceremony was on the verge of being cancelled due to rain at top of tower but we were fine. Then Beatles love show in place of reception.
To @vflux33 who asked about red raspberry leaf tea (RRLT), I drink one that has other stuff in it (not just raspberry leaf; also has Vitex and some other stuff) and I take it throughout my TWW but would stop if/when I get a BFP. I know others only drink it in WTO. It seems like a decision you might have to make based on personal preference, as I don't think there's enough evidence to prove either way, plus all teas are different etc. I personally don't think the amount in herbal tea is enough to do harm in the TWW (I've heard both things, tho: that it's actually good in the TWW and can prevent miscarriage; and then the opposite---it's so confusing!). I'm fairly cautious about most things because of my losses but I feel comfortable with this decision. Maybe others have different thoughts, tho edited to add tag
Thank you @rainbowturtles. I appreciate your input. Sorry about your losses-- I definitely understand why that would make you cautious. It's all so confusing! There is so much contradictory info about almost everything TTC. Nice to be able to talk with others like you going through it all, since it reduces the near constant "am I doing it wrong" panic attack.
TW: loss: I should probably also add that I only started drinking RRLT after my most recent loss. And yes, I understand the constant worrying that we're doing something wrong and we're going to mess things up It's so hard. But like with the recent discussion about sushi and soy, I think sometimes we need to cut ourselves a little slack/be kind to ourselves
@jeg07 I think the addition of the lace jacket was great. I removed my head for a reason I doubt many of my friends remember much about my wedding. I don’t remember much about theirs anyway.
@zwink1 I love the details you shared. Very neat and unique!
@Sugargirl1019 thanks for the laugh while reading your R/R. Wow your veil is gorgeous as are those flowers in your picture!
@deadasthatsquirrel I think it’s awesome you had the intimate wedding you wanted.
@BrambleRose I think it’s neat you were able to start in your own, new location.
@Sirius37 the sky in your picture is eerily awesome!

@BrambleRose - a SoCal destination wedding sounds amazing! Looks gorgeous! Wish we could've that. All of our fam is in 1 town, and some older grandparents dictated that's where it would be. @purplg8r - married in Disney?! That's so cool!!! @maebee87 - seriously though! I usually try to pick a guy when I'm buying anything like that. I just like the free-ness of the library. The library before we moved had self-checkouts. This one doesn't. Bummer. @LuND - OMG Your picture!!! Jealous. My parents offered to fly DH and I to Hawaii or something of the like for a "destination" eloping...with just parents, siblings, and invite our best man/MOH. DH wasn't so into it. Plus, there was a lot of family expectations from us. If I could re-do it, I'd take it in a heartbeat!
Edit: Thanks to all for the comments on pics. I'm LOVING ogling everyones pics today! Weddings are so happy.
@lund@adirat@wabash15 thanks. The thing is, I think they just honestly don't have a clue and assume we would never actually be trying because our group of friends here are all teachers living overseas so literally none of the international teachers are at a place where they would actually be trying even if they wanted a baby. If I thought they had thought of that and still said these things, I wold have no trouble saying something in the moment to shock them into thinking before they speak, but I dunno

@GeorgiaWife12 It is a small world! I bet Blairsville was gorgeous! I wish I could live in the North GA Mountains. Maybe some day...
@Sugargirl1019 THAT VEIL! Omg
@Buthayna That's tough. I hope she'd understand though and not feel bad.
@rainbowturtles Yay, what a relief on O timing!

WAYDTGKU: Sex EOD during FW (hopefully) OPK's and taking vitamin D.
R/R: Busy ass day! Glad it's Friday though.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKU: What was your favorite detail from your wedding (I wanna see pictures!) or what detail do you look the most forward to?
There are so many details I would love to include from our wedding day, but here are two of my favourites;
My bouquet and my vintage style hair comb!
@RunRestRepeat @KhRun17
Your veil is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen!
@LadyMoo
love the hair comb. I'm such a big fan of little things like that!
PolarBear517 That bracelet is beautiful-- what a cool keepsake from your wedding and something you can see everyday, it's perfect!
hartmich Your dress is beautiful and that spiderman is too cute!
KhRun17 I love autumn weddings and your dress is gorgeous
@GeorgiaWife6912 The setting looks beautiful, I've always wanted to visit Georgia!
CallaLily25 That is the prettiest wedding cake I have ever seen!
hupp0013 I love your bright flowers!
laurad75 I love the Kentucky Derby so that sounds like a blast! You look like you had so much fun!
Dilynne Adorable caketoppers! So creative!
@motherhubbard19 I love how you incoorporated sentimental things into your day
MrsN092714 I love your rustic look!
manilla bar That is a gorgeous bouquet!
@RunRestRepeat beautiful picture! I hope you have that hanging in your house!
@rainbowturtles hooray for getting in good timing
@britters314 good luck with your testing next week
@aurora1973 Hooray for vacation, Fx O holds off till after DH SA.

@LuND That's so wonderful for your friends! Gives me so much hope to hear people try for years and are finally successful I think if you wore the apron, you shouldn't worry about the radiation on your follicles at all. Lead doesn't let those waves get through. (Source: my husband is a physicist)
@RunRestRepeat What a great photo!
@manillabar Thank you! And that makes me feel better. The cramping has actually stopped as of right now. I tried to Google it, but of course all I get is crazy symptom spotters who say that it's early pregnancy signs (I know it's not).
@Dilynne Thank you! And I'm really sorry about your car
@vflux33 Thank you!
@KhRun17 Thank you!
Stunning!
@jeg07 Thank you!
@maebee87 Yes! It was delicious, and I'm looking forward to eating it again on our upcoming first anniversary in November. There was "purple velvet," chocolate with ganache and raspberry filling, and vanilla with fudge and cannoli filling.
@BrambleRose Thank you!
@britters314 You are definitely right. I am stressing myself out way too much over this. My DH tells me that all the time lol. I need to breathe and trust my temps! I may take a temping break after 6 DPO this cycle.
Married: November 2015
@leekat14 aw, I love that your 96 year old grandpa was a special part of your day
@PolarBear517 I love that pic! It really speaks to you and YH's connection. And, my DH and I also sometimes celebrate the anniversary of when we started dating/met too. We met on St. Patty's Day, and who doesn't like any extra reason to drink good beer?
@KhRun17 your dress is gorgeous!
@CallaLily25 OMG that CAKE!!! Spectacular!
@hupp0013 Wow, I really like those flowers! If I could get married all over again I think I'd use your bouquet for inspiration!
@adirat oh yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum Italian deli! I miss places like that. And those clay foxes are SO CUTE. Neat idea!
@laurad75 I love that you rocked it out at your wedding! Nothing more beautiful than a happy bride having fun!
@motherhubbard19 I love the boutonniere that your DH wore! So unique!
@MrsN092714 I love the pic of you and your DH with cans of Budweiser in your hands
@manillabar BEAUTIFUL bouquet!!! Just stunning!
@jeg07 I love how you customized your dress! It turned out beautifully!
@zwink1 yay for a good TTC convo with your DH!
@Sugargirl1019 I adore that top pic! It looks like you had a gorgeous ceremony!
@purplg8r I have to admit, I don't normally like ballgowns - but yours is/was stunning!
@Buthayna sorry for the rough book club meeting. People can be so thoughtess
@rainbowturtles YAY! So glad the dance worked!!!

Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: opks,temp,clomid

Seeing all the wedding pictures helped to get my mind off things since I love weddings (but I cry at every single one now).
@leekat14 I love my cowboy boots and love when they are worn in a wedding. That’s so special to have your grandfather there, especially at that age.
@hartmich I love the sleeve addition to your bouquet!
@CallaLily25 Your cake is AMAZING! Wow!
@hupp0013 What a great tradition with the necklace. Hopefully it can continue for years.
@Dilynne I agree that 2012 is early to need a new transmission. Sorry you have to get one.
@MrsN092714 I like your rough/rustic wood details.
@RunRestRepeat beautiful picture

Weddings are so happy.

thanks.
