I'm so thankful for the goldfish bopping comparison! The "flutters" thing was not helping me identify the baby moving, even though it's the most popular description my friends and family have been using. I have definitely been feeling the baby goldfish this week. We went to the Dodgers game to celebrate(/mourn) Vin Scully's final home game announcing, and it was a super intense game at the end, so I ended up jumping and yelling much more than expected... and baby moved A LOT. I think I upset him/her with all the noise and shock, but DH swears it's because any child of his is automatically a Dodgers fan, and those movements were baby cheers, haha.

I'm so glad I read this thread already. Started feeling the little bubbles last week! Only felt them at night. Pretty sure baby is like me, more active at night. Definitely not a morning person with now little bean makes mama feel in the mornings lol

I've been waiting to feel something subtle like the bubbles or the goldfish bumps, but last night I think I felt her flip over or something because it was not subtle. I don't even know how to explain it but it was awesome!
Anyone else still feel baby really low? IDK if it's just the way baby is positioned or bc I'm a STM or bc I'm only 17 weeks but I definitely feel the bumps low
@Gators&BoSox oh mine are definitely low! It was that way with DS too. Had to be careful because when I wanted to feel it looked like I was sticking my hands down my pants lollll.

Yes! I barely feel any movement, but when I do it's all down in my sides/pelvis-at my ultrasound yesterday the tech was pushing the wand around in my pelvic bones because baby was hanging so low - I'm 19wks.
I think I actually felt him stick his head or butt at me last night. I was laying in bed feeling for him and he wasn't doing much so I stopped feeling. Suddenly I felt him squirming, I put my hand down where he is and felt a very hard little lump. Eventually it went away, but it was kind of neat!

@pandalily I feel most of the flutters or bumps at night too! Which makes me very nervous, I don't want a night owl baby But I always was growing up sooo I guess I'm in for it lol
I don't know if they can yet, but they'll be able to!!! When the baby is bigger and you start noticing their position and stuff by touch they can feel you rub them. I'd like to think my baby can tell when I'm paying attention attention to them, just because they're a part of me essentially right now.
I had been secretly freaking out because I never felt the baby moving even though I'm 18 weeks. But fortunately, I went to my routine checkup and my midwife said the baby is definitely still kicking and healthy. Then, the next morning I felt the baby do a complete flip or possibly severe kick to my uterus as I was driving to work. It didn't hurt, but it definitely startled me and felt so weird! I haven't felt anything since then, but I look forward to feeling baby more as he/she grows bigger!
