*lurking although I feel like WTO is always my home* Got CH. Now headed over to TWW. Good luck, ladies!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R: DH did a lot of tidying up last night while I was at choir. We're having freinds over for dinner on Friday, and now the house will look like less of a disaster! Uggg mobile bumping and my phone hates the what y'all doing section, and won't let me type there. so here it is, I'm doing all things
CS/Q: not yet
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Nothing. We knew. O one here when we moved here for my job. That being said we have met some amazing people who have become like family and without whom we would not have survived our first year with the twins. Some time I would love to live near my brother but he is active duty military so that won't happen any time soon.

WAYDTGKU: At this point just waiting on any sign that I'm going to O.
R/R: Rant: I really had high hopes for a positive OPK this morning. The BSC is starting to come out and I'm having a hard time suppressing it. Rave: MiL had DS last night (only the second night he's ever spent away from us) so I got to sleep all night long. Only the second night since he was born and he's 2.5! Ah-mazing!
CS/Q: nada. Unless you use your magic ute goggles and tell me when/if I will ever O.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? We have two houses here (regular and lake house) and I hate the thought of selling either. We LOVE our church and our small group so leaving that would be really hard.
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, temping, OPK, cutting out soda, making hubby take multi-vitamin, preseed (just tried it for the first time last night & loved it).
R/R: we just moved into our first house & got our first set of bills. Our water bill is waaaay more than we were expecting & about $115 more than my local friends!!! Either we did something wrong or it was calculated wrong!!
CS/Q: this is only my 2nd month TTC/temping/opks and I use Wondfos (I also you CBA last month). Last month I got a dark line that matched the test line the night before I O'd (CD21). Anyways over the weekend a friend mentioned I should keep a notebook of the sticks for patterns and since Monday I've noticed they've been getting a lot lighter! I never got a dark line like last month but then yesterday I read some ladies say Wondfos don't always give you the really dark line. So my question is this. I don't think my temps show O'd but if I did-- I've been putting in all negatives for OPKs on FF. Will FF override that to give me crosshairs if it thinks I O'd or should I got back and delete all the OPK negatives?
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? DISNEY!!! I have a huge Disney nerd and we live about 3 miles behind the Magic Kingdom
@NYTino24 - GL in TWW! @wabash15 - the people in the place you move can make ALL the difference! While I'm applying for jobs, our friends here have been so helpful trying to find something for me. I don't know what we'd do without them. ps you beat me to bumping today, so I get to use your CD minus 2.
Month/Cycle: 7/5
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK, EOD during FW, CM, CP, BBT
R/R: I have a phone call with a recruiter today that is for (hopefully) a remote job. Fx it works out well!!!
CS/Q: Nada - my chart looks pretty good right now!
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Well, right now it REALLY is the job keeping us here. I guess if I had to give another reason, it would be living 1 mile from Lake Superior which I can NEVER get enough of, and the friends we've made here. Love the people!!
R/R: Finally had a chance to read through yesterday's thread, so just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the advice. I feel a lot better knowing that it is possible to have a short surge like that, and I will definitely have to test more often going forward.
CS/Q: Nothing today!
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? My mom. At this point most of my family has kind of spread out more, so now it is just my mom and I still in NJ. So, unless she moves somewhere else, I'm not going anywhere.
@purplg8r I would definitely check for leaks/running toilets/etc. That seems like a big difference! @KhRun17 Good luck with your call! Fx it turns out how you want!
WAYDTGKU: NOT temping bc of a crazy month of shift work, so just OPKs and CBAD
R/R: I've been MIA this cycle- working nights has gotten me all off track but I just came off shift and have a min. I promise I've been reading all your posts and rooting for you!
CS/Q: i had insane amounts of EWCM on cd 8-9, which was surprising. Neg OPKs so I think it was just the estrogen surge, but will see what happens today. HIO yesterday just in case. Hoping for a normal O time this go around, especially given that I'm not temping.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Our house- we have a huge project home on 50 acres that im obsessed with, and I plan to never leave it. In fact will likely be choosing to commute to my new job next summer an hour each way just so I can stay in my house!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, CP, BBT, HIO during the FW
R/R: I'm home today and need to get a lot of stuff done. Here's to be productive.
CS/Q: not today.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Family and friends.
This is already looking like it's going to be a busy day in WTO! I'll try to be back this afternoon for responses, I have meetings most of the morning.
Month/Cycle: 4/5
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: Waiting for CH at this point....one more day of high temps and I get them for CD10
R/R: This morning has not started out good. I didn't sleep well last night and the dog was barking in the middle of the night for the third night in a row. I had trouble dragging myself out of bed, I heard a small rip when I was trying to "stretch" my jeans since they were recently washed and I got to work almost late (I usually get here 10-15 mins early and go crazy if I get here any later). Just hoping my day gets better from here.
CS/Q: Not that I can think of....
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? My family. Except for my brother, my entire immediate family is in this area and it would be difficult for me to move away from them. The only thing that would make it worth it is either finding an amazing job with great pay and benefits or being closer to my in-laws

@leekat14@GeorgiaWife6912. I just woke up hubby before I left to ask. Apparently he's been running the sprinklers every day. I guess we need to figure out how much is really necessary for new sod.
R/R: I went to the grocery store yesterday and bought lunch meat. I didn't look at the date and the sell by date is tomorrow. I hate it when that happens.
CS/Q:
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Family. We live pretty close to our extended families and we love having the grandparents around.
@maebee87 I'd be more than happy to share with anyone who needs them! How long are your cycles usually? @sevenn fx you O like normal this cycle! @lulu1180 hopefully your CHs appear tomorrow! FX this is your cycle! Ugh. And hopefully your day gets better! It stinks when you have days that start like that from the get go. @purplg8r that will do it! At least you know why now though. @hupp0013 Have you opened it? If not, can you take it back? I'm super weird about my meat and probably wouldn't eat it haha.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, temping, OPK's, acupuncture, green tea; clomid earlier this cycle and waiting for O to do the IUI
R/R: I'm feeling irritated with H for asking stupid questions we have already been over. He comes home from his work trip tomorrow so we can go back to HIO and mentally preparing for the IUI.
CS/Q: nah.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? I like it here. I would move back to CT to be close to my family but we aren't ready to leave the city yet.

R/R: ***TW*** We found out Tuesday that a friend had passed away. At that time we only knew that his wife found him when she got home. We found out yesterday that he took his own life. They have two little girls, ages 3 and 6 months. Yesterday, I also found out that they had struggled for their second child and went through many rounds of IVF, multiple pregnancies that ended in miscarriages, and even an early birth of their youngest. This was very hard on both of them and it resulted in him struggling a lot. So much that even 6 months after the birth of his baby, he took his own life. Please, please, please, seek help if necessary even after the child arrives. I do not want to see others go through this! ***End TW***
CS/Q: I've read up on when your temp "should" dip below your coverline when AF is approaching. My question is, my temps didn't dip below it until CD2. Anyone else not dip until after AF was actually there?
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Moving even farther from family. West coast is really our next option and that's so far from all family.

WAYDTGKU: Temping, checking CP and CM, BDing every other day
R/R: We had a power outage at work, so now I might get to work from home! haha
CS/Q: *Chart Stalk/Question* I got a temp spike this morning, but I'm still really tentative about it. This would mean I ovulated on CD12, which seems super early considering my first cycle off of BC last month was 45 days. I've been looking at other charts, and it's making me think it's a "fake out," and I'll end up ovulating late or not at all. I didn't get a positive OPK, but only started testing Tuesday night so perhaps I missed my surge. I had watery CM and my cervix was high yesterday, but last month I had extremely sore nipples and some other secondary symptoms that I DIDN'T get this time. Are your ovulation symptoms identical every month or could it vary? Is it common to get a temp spike and fertile CM but not actually ovulate?
Also, maybe TMI, but the only weird thing I noticed yesterday was that we literally needed NO lube even though I'm usually really dry. That was extremely strange.
GTKU:Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Family and friends
@bumpybump I'm so sorry about your friend. How awful In response to your question, yes I have had that happen with my temps once, they didn't go all the way down until like CD 3 @laurad75 , I also feel like I have explained the whole ovulation/TTC stuff a bunch of times but DH still doesn't get a lot of it. It's frustrating. @lulu1180 I hope your day gets better from here! @sevenn I have read that you can get patches of EWCM multiple times in one cycle, not just right before ovulation. Still a good idea to HIO just in case! @KhRun17 good luck with your phone call!
Month/Cycle: 3/4
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: HIO, Temping, CM, prenatals
R/R: None today
CS/Q: TMI sex question: how important is position? I'm getting a little tired of the positions they say work best for TTC because ya know, gravity.
GTKY: Family, definitely. I can't imagine living more than an hour from all of them.
Me: 26 DH: 27 Married 6-15-13 DS born 4-9-15 Septate Uterus BFP 10/12/16--EDD 6/24/17
@bumpybump I'm so sorry, hugs to you and prayers to the family going through this tragedy. And as for temp dipping- I always start declining around 12dpo and am at cover line by AF.
@GeorgiaWife6912 my cycle is just so irregular. My past O days have been CD 26, 36, and I got pregnant with my son when I O'd on CD 54. At my RE appointment yesterday I was given a prescription to help bring on AF if I go past 60 days.
@purplg8r FF will still give you dotted cross hairs based on temps, even with negative OPKs. Also, they don't always get gradually darker... While that it is common, it's possible to go from very light to dark positive immediately.
R/R: DH is home from his business trip, I was soo happy to see him last night!
CS/Q: I was out at my internship & work all day yesterday & didn't get to take an OPK until 9:30... it was sooo close to positive that I took one this AM and it's definitely looking positive although I'm second guessing myself and might buy a digital for confirmation. I was really hoping my dotted CH were a fake out and thought it was weird that I didn't turn a wondfo like last cycle despite what looks like a clear temp shift. But just to egg on my BSC... do you know any reason I might get a + OPK after O?
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
Family! My parents, brother, grandparents, 2 aunts an uncle and 6 cousins all live within 15 minutes of me. We get together at least once a month. And DH's family lives in KY which is a 7 hour drive from us and easy to do for a long weekend. I guess I could imagine living somewhere like Chicago because I'd be within driving distance (except it seems so damn expensive!) but it would be really hard for me to have to fly home... I think I could cut back from once a month to once every couple months on visiting my family but once or twice a year would be pretty heartbreaking. I also really love Grand Rapids, my only complaint is the winter is too long. Who knows, my family with DH comes first and if the perfect career opportunities for both of us in a great community across the country happened to pop up I would at least entertain the idea
@purplg8r FF overrode negative OPKs to give me CH this cycle (they were dotted though because - OPK means signs aren't lining up) however, in my case I'm really hoping it was a fake out! But in yours you should get dotted CH with a clear shift
@khrun17 1 mile from Lake Superior sounds amazing! We live about 30 miles out from Lake Michigan and I still consider that a pro lol I would only ever want to move closer
@laurad75 that's annoying about the questions you've already been over... my H has a tendency to do that especially when it comes to scheduling things... I try to be patient but I mean how many times do I have to say it before you remember!?
@bumpybump so sorry for the loss of your friend, that is awful. As for your question, my temps didn't drop before AF but did drop on CD2. Then they shot right back up but FF says erratic temps during AF are common. AF didn't show until 6-7 at night this cycle so I wonder if I might see a temp drop if she shows earlier in the day...
@CallaLily25 I hope it's an O spike! It should be more clear with a trend of high temps

WAYDTGKU: vitamins, temping, tea, that's about it for right now. I'll start with opks in a few days.
R/R: My dog is driving me crazy lately. It's been really rainy and wet here, and she's a diva.... She doesn't like to poo outside when it's raining... This means she's been waiting until we leave in the morning and going in the spare bedroom. I caught her redhanded last week and she stopped for a few days, now she's back at it. If I come home today and see something, she'll be spending tomorrow in the kennel. She certainly knows better...she's six.
CS/Q: nope.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
H's family, and I guess mine now too. He has a big family and they're pretty close, plus he works for the family business. Unless he transfers to a different plant for some reason, we're not going anywhere.
R/R: Doc just called and my HCG is 2, which is considered negative so no more blood draws. She also reconfirmed it's ok to start trying whenever we are ready, AND they would do whatever they could next time to put my mind at ease (blood draws, etc). She was super, super sweet and I'm so glad I chose her (I actually had to switch docs last year so I've only been to see her once before).
CS/Q: Nah. My chart is eerily similar to the past 2... My body is predictable
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
Family, and I actually work in a family business that I will eventually take over so it's doubly important for us. We do love the area though and I have old friends from growing up plus new friends we have both made.
@bumpybump I'm so sorry for your loss. What an awful story. I hope his family can get through this. To answer your question, yes, I usually don't fully drop until CD2. My CD1 temp is always lower than my highest luteal phase temp, but not to my coverline.
@CallaLily25 That could be an O spike. It's so much higher and aligned with watery CM. Give it another day or two and you will know. It isn't unusual for cycles to be different after stopping HBC so I think it's very plausible you could O at different times. Feel free to tag me tomorrow if you want a CS.
@Polarbear517 I don't think you've O'd yet based on temps but with those OPKs, today could be the day!
Cycle/Month: 5/4
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: Temping,
CM, OPKs, PNVs, CoQ10, B6, B12, vitamin D, green tea, avoiding soy.
R/R: One of my officemates got a new job. Yesterday was his last day. I'm happy for him because the new position is so perfect for him and aligned with his interests, but I'm so sad for myself! It's so great to have work friends -- it makes the day go so much faster.
CS/Q: lol it's CD6 so...
GTKY: Nothing. We're moving next summer when my husband finishes his PhD. I can't wait to move!
@bumpybump - WOW! So sorry to hear. Like others, I'm sending creepy internet hugs!! @JackieMarie1989 - we just do whatever feels good/gets the job done. Then afterwards (even though some say it doesn't help, I'll do anything) I lay in bed for a while before getting up. I don't worry too much about position. @PolarBear517 - yep, we LOVE being right on top of the lake. In the winter, without the leaves we can see the lake from our office and dining room.
@purplg8r How do you function with all of that traffic?????? We were just there (stayed in rental house in Champions Gate), and OMG effing I-4!I can't imagine dealing with the Disney traffic every day!
@KhRun17 what up *almost* cycle buddy! FX for your phone interview today!
@lulu1180 sorry you had a rough morning! I vote you treat yourself and FX that your day gets better
@hupp0013 I hate when that happens!!! I used to live near a grocery store that had actual expired stuff on its shelves all the time... it was so gross.
@bumpybump That is so awful *so many creepy internet hugs* I can't even fathom. So so so sorry.
@zwink1 sneaky dog! Could you get one of those indoor "grass" potty things for rainy days?
@adirat sorry you're losing a work buddy that's the worst.

WAYDTGKU: Most of the non-medication things. I've been so confused about CP lately that I'm feeling myself up multiple times per day. Not really HIO right now because being sick is gross.
R/R: BUGS. Lots and lots of bugs. This time every year we get an invasion of box elder bugs and wasps, and they do their best to get into my office. I'm in an old Main Street building, so I'm sure it's not hard for the buggers to find their way in. I think I've killed 8 wasps already. And, DH with a man-cold and sore back. I mean, I'm sympathetic because I had the same cold and have had back issues before too, but he's SOOOOOOOO annoying about it. He groans, hems, haws, grimaces, makes faces, and makes me want to punch him. I have no issue taking care of him, but he prefers not asking for help and being insanely dramatic about his plight instead. I GET IT, THIS SUCKS. Lay the eff down, ask me for what you need, and for the love of god stop with the drama!
CS/Q: CP - so, I can always easily find the "knob" that articles talk about, but that's not what changes in firmness and position, right? Or is it? From what I read yesterday it's the stuff right in front of it???
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Hahahahaha, DH. I'd love to move. DH loves it here in ND because it's where he's from and there are less regulations and laws regarding just about everything. I'd love to live anywhere with less camo. Preferably near an ocean.
@purplg8r like some of the other ladies have said FF will give you crosshairs with temps alone but they might be dotted if your other signs dont line up. I know its hard to wait but a few more temps should help give you an answer, its also the reason we dont recommend moving over to the TWW until you have crosshairs @Khrun17 good luck with the phone call about the job. fx for you. Your right the family that you make can be so important. I never in a million years thought I would move where we live now and we love it. @sevenn its nice to see you when ever you can make it. @lulu1180 sorry for your rough morning, I hope the rest of your day goes better @bumpybump I am so sorry for you and your friend. I cant even imagine what she is going through. IF can be such a B****. creepy internet hugs and you both are in my thoughts. My temps usually drop but not below coverline before AF. @callalily25 some women's signs vary every month. keep temping @jackiemarie1989 position doesn't really matter, just the "baby batter" (I forget who has been using that phrase but I love it). if the swimmers are healthy they are off and running as soon as they are deposited. @hartmich I'm glad to hear you have such a supportive doc and that your done with blood draws.

WAYDTGKU: the usual, pnvs, cutting caffeine, cm/cp, going to have to hio like sneaky teens this weekend since we're staying with friends.
R/R: Bummed that I feel like I'm just getting started here, and now I'm going to miss four days over the weekend. But, I get to ride the Colorado National Monument, so it could be worse. Promise I'll be back to posting next week!
CS/Q: Since I'm not temping (yet), what's the best way to determine when I should move to TWW? I was planning on going by cm, but figured I'd check to see what any other non-temping ladies do.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? Well, we moved here for DH's job (I would have NEVER pictured myself living in IA otherwise), but we've really fallen in love. There's a system of over 600 miles of bike trails around here, so that's enough to keep us. Plus, we just bought our first home, and after 8 moves in 8 years, I refuse to pack a box for a long while!! We'll see what happens when DH's parents retire...
LuND I hate bugs, especially wasps! You're very brave for killing them!
adirat Sorry your office friend is leaving... I hate when people I like leave. I feel like the people I don't especially like are the ones that stick around for the long run.
WAYDTGKU: Nothing at the moment... but will temp, take B6, CM
R/R: I'm just glad it is almost Friday! And it's almost October!
CS/Q: I was spotting last night but barely at all and then AF started today. I would count CD1 today and that would mean that yesterday counted as part of my luteal phase, right? If so, yes! Finally a 10 day phase.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? We just bought a house and my mom also lives down here. Plus, winter weather is so nice that it would be hard to move back to the snow!
@NYTino24 Am I remembering correctly that your husband is a firefighter in Hoboken? Is he working on the train crash this morning? I hope you guys are OK...
@LuND Wasps are where I draw the line. One time a wasp got into our apartment and it was awful. I don't know how you deal with the deluge of wasps!
@jeg07 Yep, that sounds like a 10-day luteal phase. Woohoo! And yeah, why do only the crappy employees stick around forever???
@jeg07 & @adirat haha, it's usually only 1 or 2 wasps in my office at a time. And, it must be the end of their life cycle or something because they're very slow and dopey, so killing them with a fly swatter isn't too difficult. Although, I have terrible aim and have spent some embarrassing moments flailing around with the fly swatter.
R/R: I just finished grading some homework assignments and I think I need a drink now...
CS/Q: None
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? H is in grad school, so that's the main thing. All of our immediate family and most of our friends also live nearby, but I'm not 100% sure that would keep us from moving.
WAYDTGKU: temping, CM, CP, OPKs, added B6 and green tea to the mix for funsies
R/R: since I have ridiculously long cycles, I took a couple weeks off temping and all things getting KU related. The break was much needed and now I'm ready to get back to business.
CS/Q: nothing at the moment
GTKU: I made a big move overseas years ago and I absolutely love where I live now. But if the right adventure presents itself, I would be down to try somewhere new.
WAYDTGKU: BD, ClearBlue Fertility Monitor, cut out coffee, green and RRL tea, PNV (plus Vitamin D, probiotic, fish oil and magnesium)
R/R: I think CBFM missed my ovulation, which is apparently normal for the first cycle, but ugh. Have been getting "high" every day, but took a regular CB digital OPK yesterday and this morning (because I've lost my mind) and it came out "low". I have short cycles (24-27 days) and when I did conceive, we only BDed CD10-11, so I think the window has passed. Gonna move over to TWW tomorrow, since it is, at least, two weeks til my period. Not feeling very hopeful about this cycle, but gonna read TCOYF and start checking cervical stuff next month.
CS/Q: For those who've used CBFM: should I keep taking the tests through the end of my cycle? Apparently, it will automatically give you high until it detects peak, which, again, I think it's missed. I don't want to waste the sticks, but I also don't want to eff it up for next cycle.
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else? I don't love LA, but once you've lived here for a winter, it's hard to think about being anywhere else.

Moving even farther from family. West coast is really our next option and that's so far from all family.

@laurad75 , I also feel like I have explained the whole ovulation/TTC stuff a bunch of times but DH still doesn't get a lot of it. It's frustrating.
@lulu1180 I hope your day gets better from here!
@sevenn I have read that you can get patches of EWCM multiple times in one cycle, not just right before ovulation. Still a good idea to HIO just in case!

@lulu1180 I hope your day turns around!

CD: 14
WAYDTGKU:

CS/Q: lol it's CD6 so...
GTKY: Nothing. We're moving next summer when my husband finishes his PhD. I can't wait to move!

I feel like the people I don't especially like are the ones that stick around for the long run.
bumpybump How terrible! I'm sorry for your loss
Month/Cycle: 2/3
CD: 1

WAYDTGKU: Just temping right now
R/R: I just finished grading some homework assignments and I think I need a drink now...
CS/Q: None
GTKU: Besides jobs, what's the one big thing that keeps you from moving somewhere else?
H is in grad school, so that's the main thing. All of our immediate family and most of our friends also live nearby, but I'm not 100% sure that would keep us from moving.
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: temping, CM, CP, OPKs, added B6 and green tea to the mix for funsies
R/R: since I have ridiculously long cycles, I took a couple weeks off temping and all things getting KU related. The break was much needed and now I'm ready to get back to business.
CS/Q: nothing at the moment
GTKU: I made a big move overseas years ago and I absolutely love where I live now. But if the right adventure presents itself, I would be down to try somewhere new.
@bumpybump Oh, that's so sad. I'm so sorry for your loss.
@hartmich YAY for negative HCG!!!!
Month/Cycle: 5/3 (2 TTCAL)
CD: 14
