Well I'm officially part of the overdue club. When into Dr. at 40+1 and NOTHING still. I know they say you can go from zero to nothing at any time but I am super active so apparently that's not helping move things along at all. Dr. says 41 weeks is the longest he'll let me go. So it looks like I'm probably going to be having an Oct. baby. Super bummed.
Looks like I'm having an October baby too. 40 weeks was Monday and I'm booked for induction Tuesday the 4th. I feel like it's not fair, my first baby and all, I wanted my body to naturally do it- I know I still have time but I was hoping for earlier.
Well it's my official due date today and I'm feeling like I'm going to join the overdue / October club at this point. I've definitely been in early labor the last week and every time I talk to one of my midwives they never think I'll still be pregnant by my next appointment but here I am. I technically could still not join either club but I'm not holding out too much hope at this point. Seems like prodromal labor is my life now.
So irritated that second babies don't come quicker than first!
I am officially a member of the overdue club. Went and got a pedicure to treat myself and the sweet woman asked when I was due and bless her heart, she seemed surprised when I said yesterday. It's the little things right?
