@LauraPCOS As of right now, we're waiting on the Pedi to decide what she wants to do, but she won't be able to make it up here until around noon. But his nurse said he'll likely stay where he is until tomorrow so they can keep a close eye on him and he can build up his strength, they'll do another x-ray, and we will go from there. Good news is he sucker on a pacifier most of the night without his oxygen dropping, so he is learning how to coordinate his sucking and breathing he couldn't quite figure that out yesterday, so progress!
@LauraPCOS you're welcome girl! I'm glad you're feeling so well! That's awesome news! I hope you and @AllyTheKid 's babes are soon well and able to go home!

Wowzas. I haven't been on much lately and just got caught up on 315 comments on this thread alone. Shew! First, congratulations to all the mamas that have given birth, your babies are beautiful. Second, good luck to all that are close, wishing you quick and painless, healthy deliveries!
As of yesterday, I am 3cm and 60% at 37w 4d. She asked if I wanted her to "stir things up in there" lol. As much as I did, I declined. I suddenly felt like I wasn't ready. We did, however, schedule an induction for 10/7 unless she comes before then, which I feel she might. I've progressed a cm since last week and if I go by previous pregnancies, I usually progress 1cm a week at this point. If she doesn't come on her own, I should be about 5cm by the time I get to the hospital to be induced and that'll be sweet, halfway there! She was 6lbs 12oz at my 36 week u/s so I can't wait to see if she turns out to be a little chunk because she feels like it, for sho!!
I just got home from a doctor's appointment. Baby wasn't cooperating during the NST (he was being very lazy), but did fine on the BPP. The doctor talked a little about induction at 39 weeks since I'm on blood thinners (Saturday), but she wasn't pushy. Then she checked my cervix. Dilated 4 cm. So if I don't go into labor beforehand, I'll be induced on Saturday. And I'm suddenly feeling very unprepared.
Thanks ladies for all the well wishes! Been in the hospital since 4pm and got the Cervidil at 5:30. Contractions started soon after. This gave are fine though and they gave me an ambien to sleep. Gonna go do that now. Super excited about tomorrow. Feels like Christmas but times a million. Good luck to the others in labor or being induced, too! Sweet dreams everyone!
Update: Johnny isn't doing too well. He was emergency transferred to a more advanced and specialized NICU in the city for Apnea of infancy, seizures, and his spinal tap showed a systemic infection in his spinal fluid that they are trying to identify so treatment can begin. I know I've expressed we're not religious people but any and all prayers and positive vibes would be greatly appreciated.
Prayers for Johnny, his doctors and you and the rest of your fam coming your way @AllyTheKid! Hopefully they have him all straightened out soon. I'm sorry he's having a tough start.

Prayers for Johnny @AllyTheKid! I am so sorry to hear he's having a rough time. There's nothing worse than watching your baby go through something like that.
@nlane0723 They discharged me yesterday and we are renting a "hospitality room" near the hospital for 3 days until we get an estimate of how long Johnny will be here. Right now the rough guess we were given was 7 days- a month. Apparently neither the hospital nor my insurance thought it would 'medically necessary' to transfer a 20 hr PP woman into a recovery room in the L&D ward next to NICU her sick newborn has been admitted into... but I won't get into that BS right now. Thank you for your support ladies. Will update as we are updated.
@AllyTheKid I'm not religious either but I have a deep respect for science and medicine and from what you've posted it seems like they are taking Johnny's issues very seriously and ensuring he gets the best possible care. With you and FI there supporting him so furiously I have no doubt Johnny will have the best possible outcome. I can't imagine how scared you must be feeling. Be strong for that sweet little man!!
@books&icecream Yes, the neonatal specialist is taking this very seriously, has taken cultures for every bacteria and virus imaginable, and has antibiotics and antivirals preordered and ready to be administered as soon as he gets results back. It took him no time to link the Apnea to seizures, seizures to something in his spine, then go from there. I am also really happy I have a great Pedi back home who insisted she get an opinion from this specialist. I'm just hoping it's something easily treatable now.
