I like it! But, I know an Abram and pretty much everyone thinks it's Abraham at first. So, as long as you are ok with that, I think it is a great name!
I would be afraid everyone would want to call him Abraham... because the names are fairly synonymous with Abraham being the most dominant.
Yeah, this is my biggest hesitation. I've started floating the idea to people IRL and I've already gotten a lot of comments/questions along the lines of "Oh, is that a nn for Abraham?" Of course, those of us obsessing over baby names know that it's a legit name, but if most people don't know the name, that's definitely a consideration for me. As someone with a tricky name, I don't want to do that to my kid.
Another good point that a friend brought up- we will likely call him Abe regardless, so it doesn't matter quite as much if he's Abram or Abraham. We might go with the more traditional Abraham.
Also on the table, Isaiah and Ezekiel (Zeke).

I definitely think Abram is the best out of those three and Abe is such a cute nn. Some people might confuse the name but so what..people mess up all kinds of names
Re: What do you think of Abram?
