Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? I have my first appointment on Monday

Any new symptoms or changes? Just an overall yucky feeling. Same nausea and fatigue. Pretty unmotavatied.

GTKY: I have a 2 year old Yorkie/ Maltese Mix. He is such a sweetheart and I just adore him. His name is Tucker. I call him Tucker Bear because he looks like a teddy bear.

How far along are you? 5 weeks - EDD May 25th

How big is baby? The size of an appleseed

Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? I just scheduled my first ultrasound for October 12th and my follow up 12 week appointment and ultrasound for November 21st!

Any new symptoms or changes? Not a ton of symptoms. I have had some very mild cramping that comes and goes and some fatigue after long days at work. I definitely feel lazy lately...I haven't been sick to my stomach yet but have noticed that my food doesn't taste as good as it used to, bummer.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rants: I wish I could tell my friends and family that I am KU but so I have only told DH, my boss, and supervisor (as I work very closely with them and need to avoid doing certain things at work)
Raves: This group has so much support for it's members I am always happily surprised. It is so nice to hear people helping and encouraging each other rather than talking poorly about one another.

GTKY: Do you have pets? I have 2 Boston Terriers. Charlie (1 yr 6 mos) and Maddie (4.5 mos) They are wild and love to play but make our lives so much more fun! They are very spoiled and typically sleep in our bed but that may change as I start taking up more space

How big is baby? The size of a peanut m&m, according to my ticker. :-)

Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? Ultrasound/appointment with my Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist next Tuesday. I'm excited and nervous and pretty sure based on my average cycle length that they will push my due date out a few days after they see the babe.

Any new symptoms or changes? An extreme smell aversion to certain non-food items like cigarette smoke (I can smell it from blocks away) and perfume. Otherwise, still just feel generally BLAH with an occasional migraine.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Not so much a rant or rave, but I've been thinking a lot about how strange it is to have a person with me all the time that I know nothing about. And thinking about my son and how strange it is that he was ever this small and so unknown to me. It's freaky in a good way, I guess.

GTKY: Do you have pets? Lets hear all about them. We have a 16 year old black chihuahua named Lola--she is very cranky and pretty sedimentary. I think she sleeps 23 hours out of every day and doesn't really like my son, although she tolerates him. We also have a 16 year old Siamese cat named Kitty who shows a little more affection towards my son...I am convinced she will live forever--her demeanor has not changed in like 10 years. And my son has a beta fish named Wilson. :-)

How big is baby? Blueberry

Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? I will have my 2nd ultrasound with the RE a week from tomorrow.

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm still having all day nausea. It's slightly better today than the other days this week. My lower back is a bit sore today and I've been going to bed at like 8:30 every night because that's as late as I can make it these days!

GTKY: Do you have pets? Lets hear all about them. We have 2 cats and 1 puppy! Cats are my absolute favorite, but my daughter wanted a puppy so bad that we finally caved over the summer.

Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? I have my initial appointment with MFM this Tuesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? Just when I thought I couldn't get any more tired, yesterday I wanted to sleep all day!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I got to see LO this last Tuesday and I was so happy to see a good heartbeat and a gestational age close to what I was expecting.

No pets for me. DS1 is terrified of dogs, which are the only pet I would consider.

My first appt is on October 24th

Any new symptoms or changes?

I'm pretty bloated. My boobs were super super sore last week but they are better now. I get nauseous if I don't eat lunch and supper on time. Small, healthy snacks in between meals help too.

Rants/Raves/Questions?

I told my mom a couple days ago that I'm KU. I didn't mean to, but it just felt like the right moment so I went with it. H and I were planning to wait to tell anyone until I am 12 weeks, haha oops. I'm really happy I told her though because she gave me some good advice and I asked her questions about her pregnancies. My sister is getting married in 3 weeks so we definitely don't want to tell anyone else until after the wedding. On that note, I'm getting really excited for my sister's wedding!

Edit because I thought of a question: I temped regularly when I was TTGP. I have been temping still since I found out I was KU. The main reason I am still temping is to watch for anything that might go wrong. How long are others planning to temp if you still are?

Sadly I don't have any pets right now. My parents live close by and they have a dog and cat. I like to stop by their house for "pet therapy" whenever I can

When H and I move into our house in a couple months hopefully we can get a dog. H is allergic to cats, unfortunately.

I think it definitely varies from office to office, but I'd expect they will walk you through what to expect with appointment frequency through the pregnancy, talk to you about general care for yourself while pregnant, ask you about your LMP/general cycles, talk to you about your testing options during the pregnancy. At my first appointment a couple of weeks ago, they did a quick physical and pap because I was due for one. Also, you will likely have a lot of blood work done...I think that's pretty standard. They took about 7 viles from me and a urine test--make sure you have something to eat before you go, just in case!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Today I am at peace with the world...I was so nervous with my first two pregnancies- this time I am just so excited! You guys rock!

GTKY: Do you have pets? Lets hear all about them Two dogs a pug and chihuahua mix. The pug is "my dog". He is my shadow. Pugs are the best breed ever.... I love his scrunchy face. The chihuahua acts like a cat...we never see her unless she wants food/ or a little snuggle.

Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? I have an appointment with my regular gyno on Oct 7 to confirm the pregnancy (she doesn't practice obstetrics). I have my first appointment/ultrasound with my new obgyn on Oct 24. The appointment on Oct 7 is more for my nerves than anything else!

Any new symptoms or changes? Exhaustion is starting to settle in. Main symptoms so far are never-ending thirst, sore/bigger breasts and gas.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I could have gotten an ultrasound appointment a week earlier than the one I have scheduled, but DH will be out of town that week. The wait is killing me already!

GTKY: Do you have pets? Lets hear all about them. I have an 11 month old bunny named Emma and she is the love of my life! She is very friendly, loves food and head rubs.

Upcoming appointments this week or appointments made? Nothing this week - (im)patiently waiting for 10/11 so I can see the little munchkin again

Any new symptoms or changes? Bloat city....although I'm fairly certain that's a symptom of eating too much!!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am over the exhaustion. I called in sick to work on Tuesday and only worked a half day yesterday because I could barely keep my eyes open. I can't keep up with DS because he's got so much energy that it's ridiculous. I go to sleep every night at 730 and barely spend any time with DH. I feel like a crappy employee, mother and wife.

GTKY: Do you have pets? 2 cats that are snobs and some newly discovered dust bunnies in the playroom that I'm too lazy to clean up
