  • I'm going to be honest, I don't think I could handle Texas either. No offense to Texans, it's just way too hot for me. I'm annoyed when it gets over 75, unless I'm going to the beach. But the affordability of living in TX is super appealing.

  • @yellingbanana I'm a sun junky. I love summer days in the 80s and 90s, so I figured Texas would be no problem and we'd save a ton of money. Boy was I wrong. It was the humidity I didn't account for. Apparently I can't handel
humidty one bit. And rain. Summer rain was a whole new ballgame for me. Not one I enjoyed. Haha.
  • My husband also loves Armageddon! Nice to get to know you better :)

  • I can't watch Armageddon without bawling my eyes out. Where the Heart Is, too. I even bawled reading the book! All of this is pre-pregnancy. Of course I watched Armageddon when I was 15 weeks along and cried the whole time (and yelled at DH if he so much as thought about changing the channel I would open a can of whoop a$$ on him). We've swapped lab stories before, I have a crazy 4 year old chocolate lab who is also the laziest lab you'll ever meet. I think he sleeps just to get his energy up to go all nutso, then goes back to sleep again. Weird dog (he's currently sleeping behind me). So nice to "meet" you.

  • I'm not a huge fan of the full panel maternity pants, either. They weren't terrible when the bump first appeared, but now they're super annoying and itchy.
Also, I live in west Texas where humidity isn't much of an issue, but it's insane how far you have to drive to get to he next big city. TX is definitely not my forever home.
Dierks Bentley DOES put on a great show!
    Nice to "meet" you!
