Re: Bumpie of the Week 9.21 - tinattt23
Christina, but most people call me Tina.
When is your due date?
12/21
What part of the world are you from?
Just moved back to our home town in Southern California. Tried living in Texas this year and came right back
What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?
1st and 1st
What is your occupation or dream occupation?
I've really still never figured that out. I guess I've always wanted to work at the zoo and be one of those people who do the animal demonstrations and take care of the baby animals. I majored in biology, but now I work in advertising
Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination?
It is (or will eventually be) orange/teal/grey with white kind of cartoony giraffes.
Have you bought anything for baby yet?
I didn't want to buy much before we moved and just have to pack/move it all so we're just now starting. The furniture was delivered Monday but still needs to be assembled. Travel system is in a box in my moms garage. I have a grand total of 4 outfits. Still have a lot of work to do.
If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far?
I really love this little monster sleeper we got. I love all things monsters and dinosaurs. I'm really excited I now have an excuse to buy it all
What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far?
Probably seeing him move. It's so crazy. Feeling it's always cool, but to actually see my bump jumping around just makes me laugh every time.
Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand?
I've only bought a few maternity items so far. Honestly, the shorts I got from target have been my go to all summer. I think I'm in the minority that I HATE full panel bottoms. I've been loving the inset side panels but the selection is pretty slim.
One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy?
Our doula and our Bradley classes were a splurge for sure. It was so hard to justify to spend that much flipping money. But if it helps make our birth smoother and less traumatic, I'll spend whatever it takes.
What are your top pregnancy related priorities?
Mainly just trying staying healthy and low risk to give myself my best shot at a med free birth.
What is your favorite book?
I'm really not a huge reader. Get the tar and feathers now.
What is your favorite tv show?
Gilmore Girls and Sons of Anarchy. Odd combo, but I've probably watched each series at least a dozen times. Also super excited for Survivor to start up again tonight
What is your favorite movie?
Armageddon is way up there. And Where The Heart Is. The Prestige.
What is your favorite band/singer?
Changes all the time, but I'm a country girl at heart. Eric Church, Kip Moore, Deirks Bently (seen him live 3 times and he's always the best).
Anything else you would like us to know?
My first car was a hot pink bug. My furbaby is a wild and cuddly chocolate lab who is oddly short, just like me. I really enjoy baking.

BFP 4/10/16 - DS born 12/16/2016
SURPRISE! BFP 3/8/18
Also, I live in west Texas where humidity isn't much of an issue, but it's insane how far you have to drive to get to he next big city. TX is definitely not my forever home.
Dierks Bentley DOES put on a great show!
Nice to "meet" you!
