Pregnant RIGHT after failed FET????

OK..

I had a FET on July 13.  My beta was negative (on the 23rd).  I took another HPT like 10 days after that, because I am nuts and wanted to be totally sure things were negative. (it was).  Had 2 days of very light spotting on the 28th/29th.  That is it.

I have not had a period since then.  Cramping a little bit for the past week or two.  Just took a HPT. Positive.  Is this possible??

Left a VM for my fertility clinic, and anticipate I will have a blood draw tomorrow to sort things out.  But for tonight........???

My AMH was like 0.3 and my ovaries didn't respond to all the ER meds and this isn't supposed to be possible and now we are freaking out a bit.  Could this be that same embryo and it sat around for awhile before implanting weeks later?  That doesn't sound possible.  But somehow getting pregnant riiiiiight after a failed FET???

Chemo killed my ovaries (along with a BRCA1 mutation, which causes DOR)
4/30/13 ER just prior to chemo: 8 embryos frozen at 2pn. 2 survived to blasts/1 PGS normal

4/16 ER cancelled on CD7: 1 follicle on L/ 0 follicles on R
FET #1  7/13/16  BFN

Super shocker +HPT 9/19
Baby Alyce arrived 5/8/17

Went forward with donor eggs from my sister for baby #2
ER 4/24, 5 eggs fertilized/1 survived to blast and was chromosomally normal.

FET 2/15 (my sister/donor's birthday!).  Beta 10dp5dt:172; beta 12dp5dt: 425

    Wow, I have no insight to offer you, but I hope your clinic is able to help you navigate this. I can only imagine what your brain feels like at the moment. Best of luck to you, keep us posted.

    Woah!  How many days are you past your beta?  Is it possible you could have just ovulated again and gotten pregnant naturally?

    My beta was July 23rd.  I had 2 days of light spotting on 7/28 and 7/29.  I took another HPT on 8/11, which was negative.


    9/19 HPT was bright blue positive, with afternoon urine (not am)


    $5k worth of menopur and follistim had zero effect on my ovaries.  Nothing about my body works correctly, from a fertility standpoint, except my uterus.

    I literally just signed a legal contract with my sister for her to donate eggs to my husband and I next month. I have a 'known donor' psych eval with my husband on Thursday for final approval to start the egg donation process.


    I am convinced this is maybe a chemical pregnancy or something.  I had a blood draw this am at the clinic, and they will call me soon with my results and next steps.  If it is positive, they will do an US to figure out what the heck is going on, and get the gestational age if there is in fact a little growing embryo in there.  I don't think this could possibly be my female FET embryo, but who knows.

    Shocking, at the very least.

    Me: Age 40  Husband: Age 41
    Chemo killed my ovaries (along with a BRCA1 mutation, which causes DOR)
    4/30/13 ER just prior to chemo: 8 embryos frozen at 2pn. 2 survived to blasts/1 PGS normal

    4/16 ER cancelled on CD7: 1 follicle on L/ 0 follicles on R

    Super shocker +HPT 9/19
    Baby Alyce arrived 5/8/17

    Went forward with donor eggs from my sister for baby #2
    ER 4/24, 5 eggs fertilized/1 survived to blast and was chromosomally normal.

    Wow.  It could be a miracle ovulation cycle!  Honestly I don't believe it could be the FET.  The embryo would I have had to have implanted by that point.  FX for you!

    @pnw12rn I would be totally flabbergasted as well! Keep us updated! Strange stuff happens all the time. Don't feel obligated to answer, but did you and DH get busy during that time period? If so, anything just might be possible!

    Wow!!!! There seems to be a full month between transfer and last test. It's possible that you ovulated during an after cycle and got pregnant naturally! Did you get blood work done since the postive? Or an ultrasound?

    This is such an interesting twist!  Anything is possible and it sounds very possible you could have ovulated and that it happened naturally. Definitely keep us updated!  FX!!!

    Omg how exciting! Congratulations!! Wow, that it just absolutely incredible and I am so happy for you!! I can imagine how shocked you and your DH must be after all you have gone through to have it miraculously happen on its own! Keep us all updated after the ultrasound! Hoping for a very healthy, happy, and uneventful pregnancy for you!!!

    HOLY MIRACLE!!!!!! That is so amazing. Your levels are in the 7 week range. How?! Are they 100% postive you didn't have a false read on your blood? Although from your FET to now there is over 2 months. Your body was just probably ready to go again and BAM- miracle baby!!!! Ah!!

    Thanks, everyone!  Still fairly shocked over here.  We're gonna stick with our plan from a few months ago and still go forward with the egg retrieval with my sister, in the hopes that we can have a second child (whatever gender this one isn't).  Now just with less urgency on getting this all done.

    DX: Me: High Prolactin, Possible Autoimmune Disease Issues, though RE not concerned (?)  New RE has a plan!!
           Him: Minor Varicocele, low morphology, slightly low count

    History:

    Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!!
    Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
    Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.
