FET 9.6.16- Any Tips??

I'm going to have a FET on Tuesday and I'm a bit nervous. We have been doing fertility for a year. Four retrievals and we wound up getting two healthy chromosome tested embryos after all. I'm 36.5 yro with only one ovary and DOR. We plan on transferring both on Tuesday. I will be doing Laser acupuncture before and after. Any extra tips to make them stick please let me know. thanks in advance, Lisa.

Married my best friend in 2013 (I was 33), After 1.5yrs of TTC got my first BFP naturally on 2/7/15 but ended in DNC on 4/14/15, not viable. FET#1-Transferred Both Healthy Embryos on 9/6/16 BFP!! 9/15/16 Beta 22.3, 9/17/16 Beta 60.5 & 9/19/16 Beta 195! 1st US on 9/23/16, only 1 Gast Sac & Yolk Sac found, US 9/30/16 US 6wk 1day saw and heard Heartbeat 120bpm!! EDD 5/25/2017 Had a healthy baby girl via CSection on 5/18/17 8lbs 15oz. Then four months later got pregnant naturally and had a healthy baby boy on 6/13/18 7lbs 6oz (at age 38). Needless to say, anything is possible! I'm keeping my signature open so it gives someone out there hope that anything is possible.     Good luck ! So I am not sure there is specific evidence behind any of these things but a couple things I have read have said to eat pineapple core , drink pomegranate juice and stay really hydrated after your transfer .  None of these things can hurt so I did them all !! Praying it works for you !!!!!

    July 2015:  Medicated TI cycle: BFN
    August 2015: IUI: BFP. Chemical pregnancy :(
    October 2015: IUI: BFN
    January 2016: Egg retrieval: 10 frozen embryos!
    March 2016: FET Cycle- 2 embryos transferred!: BFP !

    I don't have any tips to make them stick, but I do have a piece of advice for transfer: drink more water than they say to. It's better to be too full than too empty.

    I have the circle and bloom FET series that I'd be willing to share with you - send me a PM. My husbands job was to make me laugh as much as possible after the transfer (studies have shown that it helps). One pineapple cut into 5 slices including the core for the 5 days post transfer. Keep your feet warm. Eat warming foods. No ice cream or cold foods. French fries after transfer. Take it easy, but go for walks. My fingers are crossed for you. Big hugs.

    Hi.  I had my first FET in July and one of the embryos implanted even though I had not gotten nearly enough rest and was very stressed and anxious. I would suggest trying to stay positive and take extra special care of yourself.  Treat yourself exactly as you would if you were already pregnant, until you have your pregnancy test.  Good luck!!!

    @LSatturo126 One thing I did during my fresh transfer that I wish I wouldn't have done was WORRY! I was constantly worrying about eating this, or doing that, and I think I just stressed myself out. After transfer, it really is out of our control to a certain extent. I agree with pp... just treat your body like you're already pregnant. With my FET I watched a funny movie after transfer (read the laughter study too!), drank lots of water, kept exercise and caffeine to a minimum, and just lived my life!! Didn't do anything special, bc I don't believe it works. It sucks feeling like you have no control, so I think that's why there are so many "tricks" out there. If the tricks help you stay positive, great, go for it! But I wouldn't stress yourself out over it. I have followed you in the Low AMH thread and am rooting for you!! GL! <3

    Lots of rest, raspberry leaf tea helps the lining prepare for the transfer... do anything you can to de-stress!!

Since you've followed my story you know how much I need and want this lol I will keep you all posted! And congrats on your BFP! When is your due date? How many did you transfer? What are you having?

    @LSatturo126 yes and I believe this is your month!! Thank you, I'm due 4/16/17! We just transferred one, but don't know the sex yet. We could ask the doc, but we want to wait. Praying for you!!

    I read there was a study on laughing after transfer. As dh and I sat in the recovery room we watched funny videos on YouTube. I don't know if that had anything to do with our bean sticking but it lightened the mood of everything.

    Thanks again all so much! Transfer is officially done! Baby March and baby June are inside hopefully sticking and getting comfortable for the next 9 months!

IVF#3 retrieval 4/23/16- 0 healthy embryos. IVF#4 retrieval 6/17/16- 1 healthy embryo. FET#1-Transferred Both Healthy Embryos on 9/6/16 BFP!! 9/15/16 Beta 22.3, 9/17/16 Beta 60.5 & 9/19/16 Beta 195! 1st US on 9/23/16, only 1 Gast Sac & Yolk Sac found, US 9/30/16 US 6wk 1day saw and heard Heartbeat 120bpm!! EDD 5/25/2017 Had a healthy baby girl via CSection on 5/18/17 8lbs 15oz. Then four months later got pregnant naturally and had a healthy baby boy on 6/13/18 7lbs 6oz (at age 38).     So my results are in. It's 22.3 which I'm so devasted. I don't understand how it can be so low. My nurse said she has seen cases where it gets higher and sometimes she doesn't. It really depends on Saturdays blood work. Ugh I don't understand this at all and I'm just so upset.

    Ah I'm so sorry - what a roller coaster of emotions :( I know the range for normal beta values is so broad so hopefully it's just low now and will increase by a lot by Saturday . Hang in there . I know the wait is absolutely excruciating but don't give up hope !!  I'm sending prayers your way !!

    I may have had a 22.3 Thursday, but Saturday's beta was 60.5 and today's beta was 195! Thank you all so much for all the kind words and wisdom! Best of luck!

    Well today we went in for our 5wk 1d US. All is looking good. Better than what the dr thought it would be. Gas Sac and Yolk sac and even a small fetal pole. We will be waiting another week to hear the heartbeat. I'm excited but scared. This never gets easier.
