I go in tomorrow (tuesday) for my anatomy scan. I've only seen the baby on my first appointment at 8 weeks so I'm ready. Hopefully we will learn the sex. Then immediately following I'll go to my regular check up.
I have an appointment with my OB Friday which is good because I have some concerns and this is the first week for the in home health nurse coming to do my progesterone shots.
I have my u/s and 20 week check-up today. I hope I can learn the sex of the baby! But if its anything like its older sister, it'll be folded up in a way that you can't tell. I never found out with her, cause I didn't want to know. But I can't take the waiting game this time...I gotta know today! So excited I can't sleep!
OUR FAMILY is a circle of LOVE! TOGETHER we are UNBREAKABLE! FAMILY is FOREVER!
There's a RAINBOW of HOPE after EVERY STORM! And a POT-OF-GOLD at the END of EVERY RAINBOW!
I have a half day of appointments on Friday. First a u/s, then an appointment with a maternal/fetal medicine specialist for possible bicornuate uterus, then my regular monthly with the MW. Super excited to see baby again!
Regular check up tomorrow, this will be the first appointment I have to bring my DD along to so I hope we are in and out without any time for her to get bored and start acting out. I tried to get my A/S for this week since I had it done at 19+2 with my first pregnancy, but the place I have to go to refuses to do them a day before 20 weeks so it'll be next week. Boo.
Anatomy scan here too!! It's Friday, I'll be exactly 20 weeks. H is really hoping we find out boy or girl. Correction, he's hoping we find out we're having a boy I'm hoping we find out baby is healthy! Haven't seen her/him since 9 weeks..
Anatomy Scan on Thursday! WOOHOO!!! I'm so excited to see our little baby boy again! And this weekend we're traveling to my cousins wedding so I'm excited to have tons of new pictures to share with everyone! Positive hopes, wishes, and prayers for everyone this week that we all get good news about our baby's well-being!
Out of curiosity. I feel like my anatomy scan is early. I did a little googling and it says between 18-22 weeks and I will be 17+5. Should I call the doc or just trust they are mathing correctly?
Anatomy scan this afternoon!!!! I'm so excited to see baby! It's been 2 months since my last u/s, so I'm praying for a healthy baby and to hopefully get a peek at the goods
Thursday is our a/s and we've decided to (hopefully) find out the sex too. Can't wait to see the baby again and make sure that everything is going well. @FishyMom I have always had mine between 19-21 weeks. You could always call to make sure that they have it scheduled the correct week.
I have my monthly checkup with the midwife today - just the routine stuff (checking where my uterus is, the heartbeat, etc.). I am doing Centering Pregnancy, though, so it's a two-hour appointment with the midwife, a midwife assistant, and a few other women due around the same time as me. This is the second meeting, and last time there were only two other moms, so we got a lot of one-on-one attention. Though I hope it's a bigger group this time - it would be nice to meet more new moms going through the same phase as me!
For some reason, last night I started getting anxious about the appointment... I am a bit of a hypochondriac, and I haven't gained any weight yet (though I was overweight by 15-20lbs to begin with). But my belly is definitely growing, so I am trying to shut off the stupid anxiety.
Anatomy scan is next Wednesday - hopefully the little one will be cooperative and we'll find out whether it's a boy (like I think it is) or a girl!
ETA: @FishyMom it wouldn't hurt to call the doc to double-check that it was intentional... I would think you'll be fine, but I do have a coworker whose wife was accidentally scheduled for her scan too early, and they didn't find out until they went in for it. They ended up having to go back two weeks later. Granted, theirs was accidentally scheduled for 16 weeks, not almost 18 like you, but still worth checking.
I have my monthly checkup tomorrow. I'm doing the Centering Pregnancy program like @madamerwin and I love it! Can't wait to hear the heartbeat again and see how I and all the other February moms in my class are progressing!
Yay for all the ladies that have their anatomy scan this week! I have mine on October 5th and the wait seems soo long!!
So many anatomy scans!! Can't wait to hear the gender announcements for those of you finding out and live vicariously through you while I wait for mine! @FishyMom my last baby and this one were both schedules for middle of my 19th week. You're supposed to wait for the 18-21 window so they are developed enough to check on different vital growth areas, and early enough that they aren't so big it's hard to get all the parts in one picture. As PPs have said: I'd assume being a few days before the cut off wouldn't be too detrimental to the scan, but calling to see can't hurt! ((I personally would request to wait another week--just incase some things aren't developed as much as they should be for ideal measurements and pictures-I wouldn't want to have to go back again. Mostly because I can already see all my medical bills piling up))
I have my anatomy scan and monthly appointment Wednesday. I am so anxious to make sure everything is okay and find out the sex! its at 8am so at least I don't have to wait all day but sleeping the night before will be next to impossible.
So many a/s this week. Good luck ladies! I have a checkup with my OB on Thursday to discuss my BP issues and the meds I'm taking for it. Should be loads of fun.
I had my anatomy scan last tuesday but they didnt get to see everything they wanted to as our little girl wasnt in a great position so im back tomorrow for a repeat scan. Everything they did see was all good so fingers crossed tomorrow goes well too!
Anatomy scan on Thursday. Hopefully Blueberry (name DD gave the baby) cooperates, since s/he was a little pooper for my 12 week scan and it took forever!

I have a regular check up on Friday where I hopefully will hear baby's heartbeat! A/S next week so until then, I have to live vicariously through all of you lucky ladies!
Regular ob appt on Wednesday. My a/s isn't until 10/6 my Drs said 18-21 weeks but this ultrasound place won't do it until at least 20. I'll be 20w4d when I have mine. I know realistically the days will probably fly by till then though. I honestly can't even believe I'm already over 18 weeks. The first tri trenches were crappy but once you get out of them it seems like time passed faster than you thought.
Had our anatomy scan today and everything went well and baby is looking healthy! We also found out we're having a little girl. We're overjoyed and feeling truly blessed

I'm the only one inappropriately touching E this week . Yesterday we saw the midwife for our monthly heartbeat, weigh-in, & Q&A session. Next ultrasound on October 3!
J (Ma--I'm the one posting) & E (Mommy--I'm the one carrying)
@FishyMom my AS was yesterday at 17w 4d, and everything went fine. We got lots of pictures, but I do wish they would print the data table, lol. The head diameter was in the 80%s, and extremity measurements were in the 40%s. I do remember the femur was right at 1 inch Baby is 8oz, looks great, and heart looks great (there was some worry of defects at 12 weeks)
He moves all over the place, I'm surprised I can't feel him yet
@concreteangell I was thinking about you today!! My ultrasound went well. The tech said my Dr will discuss the results at my next appointment and there was nothing she saw abnormal or else they would have called in her superior to check it out. The heart rate was 141. And the baby was moving non-stop she had a hard time lol. The baby weighs 12 oz. And we are having a boy! I read you are having a baby girl! Congratulations!!! I hope your scan went well!
ETA: My regular appointment was directly following and all that happened was the usual weight, urine, blood pressure, and listen to the heart. Obviously after just leaving the ultrasound I was more anxious to get home and look at the pictures lol
Just getting caught up! Good luck to everyone at their appointments this week!
I just had my A/S and it was great!! She was moving around a whole lot! I hadn't seen her in quite a few weeks and it was amazing to see how much she's grown!! She's also got a sharp nose! To me, the best part was to be able to see her kick me. I've been feeling the kicks for a while now, but to actually see her do it as I feel it was so cool!
@afkash yes!! at one point I started giggling and shaking my belly all over. I felt a kick and saw it happen on the screen and for some reason it gave me a giggle fit.
Out of curiosity. I feel like my anatomy scan is early. I did a little googling and it says between 18-22 weeks and I will be 17+5. Should I call the doc or just trust they are mathing correctly?
I would call and push it back. I had mine early (exactly 18 weeks) with my last baby. Because baby was still small things weren't clear enough apparently and we were told he was missing a nasal bone, a structure in the brain, and a structure in the heart. We had to wait two whole weeks sitting with that terrifying info before they would rescan and thank the lord my boy was and is perfect. but knowing an early scan is more likely to have errors, I would push it to 19+ weeks for sure, for your own sanity just in case.
Had our a/s appointment today at 19 weeks 6 days, and found out it's a girl!!! So excited! DH is super excited as well. The Dr said everything looked good, and she was moving around a whole bunch.
We have our A/S today! Send warm wishes and good vibes please! I'm so excited and so nervous! I hope the little guy will wiggle and move around so they can see everything and that we leave reassured that everything is good with him!!
Just got back from the A/S. The doctor said that the ultrasound tech didn't get to see and measure everything they normally like to see because my amniotic fluid levels were a little low, so baby didn't have a ton of room to move around in. She's making me an appointment with a high risk ultrasound specialist so they can get more measurements. She didn't specifically state what my levels were or that they are like terribly low I should be concerned or anything, just that baby isn't flailing around and spread-eagling (his legs were crossed under his butt actually). Has anyone had this? I've googled and women had very severe situations like going on bedrest, having their babies between 23-33 weeks, being hospitalized so lungs could form, asked if they want to terminate (will not even be a consideration for us) etc. Please send good baby loving and fluid building vibes our way! I'm chugging as much water as I can fathom now.
