Sorry it's late but...I hate being invited to football game parties at people's houses. I would rather watch the football game with the men and drink beer (obviously not this season lol) instead of sip wine and play cards. Or go to a sports bar where I can watch and act like I'm talking to the women. I'm also embarrassingly into the game when watching and really excited for the OSU/OU game tonight! Go Buckeyes!
@BrennansMom2012 I'm totally with you on that! I'm one of the only wives in my husbands group of friends that is actually sitting in the living room watching the game as opposed to hanging out with the other wives. Football season is so much fun in our house and we probably get way to into it, but I'm missing the beers on Saturday this season.
Were renovating our house right now so there is no furniture in it, but fear not, we got the tv hooked up with the antenna so we can watch the FSU/Louisville game today while we work!
I'm hate Disney obsessed people. Idk why I'm such a fun sucker. I like Disney, I really do, bit I cringe when I see my 20 somthing friends and older who go on such a regular basis and just HAVE to get pictures with all the characters (like they have no kids with them. They're at youngest 21). No stahp. You are too old to be going to character breakfasts! Also Disney freaking wedding ears!? At your wedding!? YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE 30 WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? Another one has her degree but continues to work down there because omg Disney and now asks to borrow money on a regular basis because she can't pay her bills. Grow up!
@sherrera92 I am Disney obsessed. We never do the characters because I don't like them, but I love me some Disney. We had annual passes and went all the time. Going as an adult is just as magical as going as a kid. No shame here and I don't care if people judge me. There is something truly magical about Disney World and and I will never get tired of it and i cannot wait to see experience Disney with my kids.
My late UO is I am watching 'Say Yes to the Dress' and I hate how judgy the family is that they always bring with them. I'm yelling at the TV over here 'she loves the dress, stfu!' I don't really understand it, my family knew to not say anything unless I asked for it. If I loved a dress they were not going to say no. This show always bothers me so I hate watching it. Bit the remote is broken so I can't change the channel without getting up.
@sherrera92 We are huge Disney people! We used to have annual passes to the DLR until we moved too far to make them actually usable the way we wanted to. I'm planning to get one again now that I'm back to being so close. Now, I'm not a "I must get a picture with this character!" Kind of person. We just love going for fun. It's a fun "let's do this for date night" last minute decision. And now that we have our son, he's totally in love. We're going for my birthday next month so he kept singing Happy birthday because in his 2yo mind, if he sings it, it must be true and we're heading to Disneyland!

What's up with your Noles right now??? This game is nuts! And the husband is getting our woodwork up for the bathroom today (I started e-doing it in May) so I'll actually have a finished bathroom!!! Who hoo!
Update: a/c is fixed, nothing was wrong with our unit someone just stepped on a wire & the connection went loose. WOOOO COLD AIR!
As someone that has grown up very close to Disney World, I agree that Disney obsession runs deep BUT I also agree that it's a magical place. I am looking forward to getting annual passes now that we are starting to have children. I loooove Epcot!

Sad day for my Noles. Louisville looks really good though. It'll be interesting to see the rest of the season play out.
We aren't obsessed with Disney but we have annual passes and have really enjoyed it so far. Just this week I drove over Thursday afternoon with my son. Did magic kingdom for a few hours, had dinner then headed back to the hotel. Friday morning went to Epcot, did a few more things and headed home after lunch. It's nice to not feel like you have to see the entire park in one day because we can go back whenever. DH and I enjoy going to Epcot too for the food and wine festival and I'm looking forward to taking DS for the holiday stuff they have.
Late to the game on this one, this has been a hectic week. But here's mine: I've been reading Ina May Gaskin's book on natural childbirth and I'm still in the section with all the birth stories. They have been really interesting to read for the most part, but I find that the ones who describe their contractions as "orgasmic" and all that, I'm like... So I guess that's my UO.
@shlecka lol I am right there with you! I found about 79% of that book great and the rest I just sort of shrugged off. If those ladies can feel like their births are orgasmic high five for them but I'm not banking on it lol
