Anyone wanna come together to whine and commiserate? How are you feeling? How are you coping with that mostly meaningless but oh-so-significant EDD that has come and gone?

I'll go first: EDD was 9/6, and I totally fell prey to the "Oh, since your first was on time, your second will be early!" idea even though I tried really hard not to. So now I'm stomping around trying not to breathe fire at everyone who asks if there are any updates or signs that baby is coming soon. There are none. Rawr.

Same here! Due date was 9/6---humidity is in full force here this week, can't stop peeing, and lots of false labor. Induction on 9/12 but hoping to go on my own before. Best of luck!

Card carrying member of the club after my EDD yesterday. I'm lucky to not be too uncomfortable, but I would really like to meet my baby girl! People asking for updates is definitely the worst part! It's also hard not to overly interpret any little thing going on with your body as a sign for potential labor....aka am I pooping a lot or is this pre labor poo?!

Irritated member here too! I was due yesterday, started leave on Tuesday (new job starting 12/5, so no wiggle room there). Yesterday was the WORST. I have nothing to do (aka nothing I WANT to do), except have this damn baby! I think I had one contraction last night, but nothing came of it. I am trying not to be grumpy, and realize that it's going to happen eventually, but if one more person texts asking if the baby has come or says "babies come in their own time," I may give birth in prison.

So ready for this baby to get out of me. Passed Edd yesterday and was hoping he would come as I've been having lots of contractions but sadly the wrong kind.

Was due 9/3.. still no sign of baby. Dialated to a 5, but no consistant contractions. Actually went back to work today after last friday being my last day. If one more person makes a comment about me STILL being pregnant I am going to flip. I just started saying I am not due until October..... so over it. Now where is my brownie and ice cream...

Present. Due date was 9/4

I love the look on people's faces when they ask when my due date is and I tell them 4 days ago! I thought for sure that since this is my 2nd (and my 1st was overdue too) that she would magically appear by her due date. Whomp whomp. Dr appt tomorrow so I'm sure we'll be scheduling an induction. Hang in there ladies and try not to kill anyone!

Ok so I'm not overdue yet but I just wanted to comment that I think it's utterly ridiculous that people and doctors gives these false signs of hope that a previous pregnancy or delivery will be quicker than the last. Sooooo tired of hearing it. This is baby number freakin 5 for me and Braxton hicks are far and few between at best with all of them, never had a single contraction prior to induction, none ever came early or on time for that matter, the deliveries did not magically get easier, and NO this baby isn't going to just fly out of me because it's the 5th. Ugh!!!

@sareej521 How long is your doctor going to let you go? I was due Wednesday (last week), and if nothing happens by Thursday (next week), I get an ultrasound and induction scheduled for Sunday (11 days later).

Induction is scheduled for Monday which will be 10 days over, fingers crossed it either comes before then or is a quick one!!! @skirtandsandals @katiey23

My due date was officially today and that is already too late for me -_- I have a doctors apt tomorrow and well see what she has to say. I understand that FTM usually go late but then why don't they just push our due dates back because its a huge disappointment reaching this day you've been looking forward too, and having nothing to show for it.

Ugh, 3 hours of false labor this morning, 2ish to 5ish am! I was really excited when I had (what I think are) contractions 10 minutes apart for an hour, then they dropped to 8, then 5. But then they started being less clear, and just general tightness. Feeling pretty restless, I got up and took a shower, and everything stopped all together! Luckily I had my husband keep sleeping through most of it, and it was too painful, so I only feel a little like an idiot. I am pretty frustrated, and want this baby out of me!

Now as I sit here calmly, my belly is tightening randomly, and then the baby moves, but nothing I can call a clear contraction. My husband says I should call the doctor and tell them about this morning, what do you all think?

41+2 here! Going in for my NST today and hoping they will finally just break my water! But technically she said nothing until 42 wks so it could be a lonnnnng week again!

@skirtsandsandals just speaking from experience that my doc said there isn't much to contractions if they aren't consistent. Also if there's nothing coming out (water, blood) there's not much going on...

FRUSTRATING I know!!! It doesn't hurt to call though. Good luck to you

Went in last night with contractions 8 minutes apart because I live 40 minutes from center. Found out I was 6 cm, after being there for 2 hours and having contractions 5 minutes apart got sent home... at 41+3... because "I wasnt acting like I was laboring" midwife was super rude- needless to say I am making last minute changes and am Doctoring elsewhere now.. #FOREVERPREGNANT

My due date is today ! Have a feeling he will not be coming although I have been having contractions. Unfortunately they are very irregular. At this point I kind of have the mentality of bring on the pain because atleast it would be a change !

I'm 41+2 today and patiently waiting. My OB did do a cervical sweep at my appointment today so we will see what happens. She will not induce before 41+4 days without a medical reason so I am waiting...

@geminigirl16 Being patient is the hardest part for me so far ! My OB won't let me wait until 42 weeks like I had hoped.. so I am somewhere between hurry up baby and let it be before the induction !! Atleast we know it is just ahead though, so close.. !

My little guy is due tomorrow and it seems that he is just as comfy as ever and won't be making an appearance for a while still, so I think I will joint the overdue club after tomorrow !

I'm due tomorrow and haven't felt any labor pains though I am 3cm dilated already. Super frustrated but trying to stay positive I don't go too far past my due date

I get where you are coming from. I'm currently 40+5, 3 cm at last check and feeling frustrated and restless.

40+4 and 1 cm at last check (Thurs). Dr. diagnosed me with polyhydramnios (mild) and we are inducing bright and early tomorrow morning. He said last Thursday to expect 2 days of labor and a 50/50 chance of C section if I didn't progress over the weekend. Today I've had some bloody show and my first BH contractions, I'm beginning to give up hope that she will come on her own today and now am just hoping I'm dilating a little more.

I would get permission from your Ob, but I really think pumping is what helped the most after trying EVERYTHING else under the son.

3 days past my due date sitting here at work and I'm just miserable. I feel like I shouldn't complain because my pregnancy has been fairly easy but working 12 hours overnight at 40+ weeks pregnant is just not fun. I wish I could convince my little guy to come out already!

I can't imagine working that schedule anywhere close to 40weeks @drabong88 working 40 hrs a week was plenty for me. You're amazing to be able to keep up with that! Fingers crossed your LO decides to show up soon!!

@molosmiles the on call OB suggested I do it (I was 41+ weeks and having some symptoms). Have you pumped before?

@redmar Yes, it was a long time ago though, as my daughter is almost 8 now! I got a new pump and it looks so different than my last one. I almost feel like a FTM most of the time.
