At night when I am not so hungry and cant finish my dinner I hide my uneaten food with another plate as if its all trash and empty and sometimes Ill take a big bite to make it seem like I ate more and spit it out in the garbage so he can't see I didn't eat. He gets very food crazy when I am pregnant.
I booked my hair appointment tomorrow specifically at a time that my toddler will NOT be napping so that I have a longer break...it's timed perfectly to end right around the time he goes down for his nap. I told my husband it was the only time I could get in...
I really want to put off telling anyone we are pregnant. Like, to the point that people would be awkwardly asking because it would be so obvious at that time. Not because I'm anything less than thrilled about being pregnant, but because my SIL is pregnant too, and very high maintenance about it. And I just want to be the opposite of her and super low key. Yes, I'm a jerk.
I went on a field trip with DS1's preschool this morning and left DS2 with my mom. I let her think I'm working from home after the field trip, just so I can take an uninterrupted nap.
I can't help but look at Dr Google. After hearing my HCG levels yesterday I've been googling like crazy. My numbers were 17,763 at 5 weeks 1 day. Now I'm counting down the days until my dating ultrasound next Friday!
One of my closest friends is coming up to visit for this weekend (she lives 2 hours away). We usually get beer and just chill at my place in the evenings. She is going to wonder why I'm declining and I might lie to her about it.
I play on a sports team that needs at least 2 women each game. We don't have many women on the team, but I'm waiting to tell my team that I'm out this season and next because I'm pregnant. I probably should tell them soon so they can recruit a replacement, but I don't want to jinx myself.
@tumbleweed123 my friends and I go out for dinner once a month and we always have wine with our meal. Our dinner fell just a few days after I got my BFP, When I didn't order wine the girls were like "what! It's Friday night!" I told them I was skipping the wine because I was on antibiotics. Terrible lie and I feel like they saw right though me, I'm terrible at making things up on the spot. If you're not ready to tell her I'd have an excuse ready lol
If they really grill you and want you to be specific, say you're on Flagyl. That one is the worst - will literally make you puke. Plus it's for vaginal bacterial infections so if they know anything, they should stop asking!!
