@dmontgo lol! That's insane. Cologne. But that's how I feel about Dreft, just get some unscented/hypoallergenic laundry detergent. Or the baby bottle drying racks, I just use our regular drying rack, there doesn't need to be more stuff on my counters. I have plenty of stuff.
@yellingbanana we still use a drying rack and "grass" thing for sippy cups (and soon to be bottles again). My drying rack is always full of Tupperware that my dishwasher can't seem to dry, and there's no room for baby crap. After a year or so I did start putting away the baby drying stuff on days we didn't wash bottles so I got my counter space back...but with adding bottles back into the mix, we may end up washing daily to keep up. Unless my 2yo suddenly starts accepting milk from normal cups.
although I think baby cologne is a bit ridiculous, I have considered it in the past. for some reason, up until age 2 or 3, both of my kids had a very distinct smell to their sweat. despite baths, lotions, powder etc. I remember carrying baby around the house and thinking, wow this kid really smells like DH's load. I thought I was losing it until one day DH asked if I noticed DD had a very distinct scent, to which I said, just like your semen right? and his jaw dropped because he had noticed it to. so yeah. between having my daughter smell like a bucket of cum and "eau de bébé", I actually almost bought some.
sorry if that was tmi. I just felt like I should warn the FTMs. babies don't always smell like pink J&Js.
@zubenescamali This is one of the best things I've ever read in my life haha. I didn't think babies smell good all the time---but that disctinct smell did not make the list of scents I was expecting lol.
When I sit a certain way, I think that the baby pushes his butt out and makes my stomach lopsided. Possible/not possible at 29 weeks? At first I thought they were BH bc it makes my abdomen hard and painful in a certain spot but it doesn't seem to spread through the whole uterus the way my BH usually do. And it's in an area where I often feel movement (this LO loves my R side).
@penelope4612 my baby is breech and I can clearly tell where her head is. My belly definitely "leans" that way and I have a harder bump where the head is.
